"Is this the face of a man who looks happy to be here."
Was someone pointing a gun at you when this was taken? Jesus Christ.
"Yeah. Look at the vampire that's cut off and you'll see who's holding me hostage."
âOh. Nevermind, looks like youâre right where you wanna be. Let me guess, he convinced you to try the triangle out? Howâs that working out for you, Moonbeam?â
"Hey?? No?? I don't want to be here?? Him convincing me would've been much nicer than what he was doing, which was forcing me. It's going as terrible as I expected it would go, I told him I wasn't meant for the instrument life.."
âThings you definitely shouldâve thought about before joining a vampire band, Michael. You gotta pick up an instrument sometime, even if that instrument is your voice. Besides, David told me you werenât so bad on guitar. Youâre definitely not Van Halen on the triangle, though â â
"I didn't think I'd actually be joining! I thought that.. you know.. they'd let me backstage and I could hang out, not that I'd have to perform! I've never been good with my hands, and my voice is barely together on a good day, so I don't think I'd be able to do anything right for the band.. I don't really mind guitar, but that's Marko's thing, you know? I really should just be muscle for the group, or something.."
âSo you wanted to be a groupie. Or a security guard? Come on now, Moonbeam. You gotta earn your keep around here, you know. And luckily for you, I know a kick ass song writer whoâs in desperate need of a writing session. Think thatâs something you can handle? Or should we bust out the triangle again?â
".. Well you don't need to put it like that.. What's so bad about being a groupie, anyway? I'm still participating in some way! But I'm not sure how much I'd be of help.. I don't want to go on the triangle again though. Would this song writer be okay with me saying random things and hoping they land?"
âHow would you like me to put it then, hm? Nothingâs wrong with being a groupie, all Iâm saying is the band is where the actionâs at. I have a feeling youâre gonna do fine as long as a triangleâs not involved. This song writer is⌠open to the idea, as long as the random things you say are real. Weâre gonna need a pen and paper, and then you can try a few lines. Okay?â
".. I.. don't actually know. But it feels like an insult somehow?? I don't really need in on any of the action, honestly.. Just watching has always been more than enough. And please, I never want to touch a triangle again.. Why would a rock band even need a triangle anyway?? And I swear I'll try my best to say some good lines.. for this songwriter. I can grab some paper, you grab the pen?"
âAlright, alright. You are something else, Emerson. Literally every single time I try to pin you down, here you go, surprising me again. Enough triangle talk â letâs write. Penâs up â you got the paper? Cause Iâm about ready to hear some mind blowing lyrics. I mean â this songwriter is.â
"What can I say, I like being full of surprises. It keeps you on your toes, doesn't it? I have to say, I haven't written something properly in.. forever. Writing was never my strongsuit, I was always better with hands on stuff.. I have the paper! I just hope this songwriter will enjoy what I have on the mind.."
âYeah, it does. Kinda fun, actually. Oh, Iâm pretty confident she will. Okay, looks like weâre ready. Iâm sure you can handle the writing, but⌠Iâm kinda curious about your hands on method now. Show me what you mean. If you donât mind.â
"That's all I can hope for.. That this stays fun. I guess we'll have to see if her opinion changes.. And ah? I've never heard of hands on songwriting, but I guess I could always try something new.. Since you're the expert, would you mind showing me the way?"
âI think it will. Weâre off to a pretty good start already, if thatâs anything. Oh, hands on songwriting is new for me too, so I guess weâll be figuring it out together. Iâm up for the challenge if you are. Okay â stand right there, and Iâm gonna stand right here. This isnât too close, is it? Tell me if this is too close â â
"That's good, not like I'd known anything about this considering I haven't done it before.. I'm glad we can figure it out together, then. I'm not really one to back down from a challenge, you should know that about me by now.. But got it, I'll stand over here.. I mean, I'm fine with this spacing, are you okay with it?-"
âYou do love a challenge, donât you? Is it a crime to still be learning things about you? That just means you hold my attention â some people donât find that easy to do. Iâm actually not fine with this spacing. You need to be closer. Like⌠right here is good. Alright. Now tell me exactly what youâre thinking.â
You will be at your absolute lowest, and then here comes a blonde to fuck everything up even more.
I need a cigarette.
"This is true. The damn blonde messes everything up. Maybe we can smoke about it together?" Ignore the fact he will definitely be coughing up his lungs.
âIf you wanted to smoke me out, Emerson, all you had to do was ask. Come on â youâre buying. Anyways, whatâd he do to you?â
"Ha, didn't know if I would be allowed to or not.. But fine, anything for a noble cause. And what didn't he do? I feel like it's something new everyday.."
âOoo, allowed? Youâre so proper, god. Thatâs what I wanted to hear. Cigs are pretty cheap, anyways. Hopefully this wonât break your piggy bank wide open. Ah â yeah. Heâs⌠yeah. Whatever. Not my problem, or yours. Not our problem. Not right now.â
"What? It's not like it's polite to intrude somewhere you're not invited, even if I'm not.. fully a vampire, it's a good principal. And yeah, I'll be able to afford it, do you think I'm that broke? Exactly, we shouldn't let him ruin our night. Let's have fun!"
âWell, would you look at that. Half vampires do have manners. Who knew? Not broke, just not flashy. Youâre not flashy. Thereâs a difference, Emerson. Anyways, I still need my nicotine, but Iâm all in for a fun night. You wanna go for a ride too? I know a spot you might like, but itâll take forever to walk there. Or we could just⌠go to the pier.â
"You say that like you don't.. Don't tell me you go around giving us a bad reputation, or something. And that's fair, I guess.. Although it's pretty easy to not be flashy when you consider the company we're usually around. I'm down for anything, honestly.. A ride, the pier, as long as we're together I don't mind where we go or what we do."
âI do. Have manners, I mean. Our reputation is sparkling, weâre the most proper half vampires on the block, come on now. Yeah, I wouldnât be quick to go throwing anything super valuable in anybodyâs face. Mm, youâre sappy tonight. You feeling alright, Michael? Donât get me wrong, itâs cute, but I wanna know why. A ride and the pier, then. More time together⌠or something like that.â
"Hey, I don't doubt you at all! I'm just saying, you worded it like you wouldn't know what it's like having manners.. I'll trust you on our reputation, even if it does feel like we only have it due to being the only ones around.. There's too many characters around here to do that safely, unfortunately. And I'm feeling great! Always feel my best when I'm with you, Star.. Sorry if me being sappy is throwing anything off.. Sounds like a plan! You want me to drive or?"
I dunno, kinda sounded like you were doubting me there, Emerson⌠relax, Iâm just giving you shit. Speaking of characters, weâd better jet before any of them decide we look interesting. You⌠do? No, itâs not, Iâm just⌠not used to it, is all. I, uh⌠I feel pretty good when youâre around too. Anyways â youâre definitely driving, pretty boy. And donât forget my cigs. Whereâs your bike at? You sure youâre gonna be able to concentrate with my arms around you, Michael? Youâre looking pretty distracted already.
â Â who are you? Â â
( @lightningbolted )
( i saw the hadestown prompts and could not resist ! )
That was always the question, wasn't it? Michael had not so subtly been following her from afar, interested in this bolt of lightning, a girl who had stolen his breath away from the moment he saw her on that stage. He hadn't expected her to ask, thought that watching from afar would be the most he was allowed, and a careful smile slipped onto his lips before his hand lifted in a wave.
"Michael." The name rolled off easily, even if his throat felt like it was closing up. His hands didn't seem to know what to do, awkwardly fumbling before he rested them in his pocket. "And you are?"
âStar.â
Her answer was as easy going as she appeared to be, calm, cool, and collected as ever. Sheâd noticed it â noticed him, lingering there out of the corner of her eye like a phantom. But he was all too real, and if she took a few steps forward, heâd be close enough to touch. She didnât, opting instead to add, âYouâre not a local.â She knew most of them, and those she didnât know, sheâd at least heard of. She eyed him curiously, her head tilting as she decided to take one step towards him.
âYou must have really liked the show, if it got you to follow me out here.â
He didnât know how dangerous Santa Carla could be, what lurked beneath the cityâs neon lights. It was the Murder Capital of the World for a reason. Maybe heâd find out tonight. Either way, she wanted to stick around herself.
"Star, huh? That's a beautiful name." Michael was never well-versed in flirting, had always read and admired the great classics of romance.. But something in him needed to impress her, a smile on his face as he nodded. "I was almost called Moon Child or Moonbeam because of my mom.. Must be fate, huh?" A not so subtle wink followed, only for him to cringe slightly afterwards. What was he doing, making a fool of himself before her?
"I'm not," He was quick to admit it, knew lying to her definitely wouldn't get him anywhere he wanted to be, "Just moved in recently, actually. It's definitely a change of pace from Phoenix.." A shiver went down his spine when she stepped closer, an aching need to reach out and hold her hand that he could only stop by pressing his fingers deeper into his pockets. "I loved the show! I thought you were brilliant up there.. Never seen anything like it." It was true. She had stolen his breath away from the moment she stepped onto that stage, and he was sure he'd never want to give it back.
âMoonbeamâs cute.â Star couldnât help that the corners of her mouth lifted up slightly, holding in a laugh at the wink he attempted, amused by his attempts at flirting with her. It needed some work, for sure, but there was a certain charm to how genuine he was, how open. It reminded her of how she used to be, before walls and weapons and wars. Before everything she dealt with now, which she was meant to be continuing and solidifying.
She watched him carefully, studying his movements, how he shifted. âThanks,â she hummed, taking another step, a real smile lifting her lips now, small but clear. She didnât know what it was, what exactly urged her to close the distance between them. Most likely the same thing that forced her to keep her hands behind her back so she wouldnât do something stupid like place them on him as she leaned in and murmured, âIf you liked that, you should see us when weâre really in our element.â Star inhaled â a mistake, clearly, as the scent of cologne and the blood in his veins mixed. Her eyes darkened slightly, and she leaned back.
âYou still got my scarf on you, Moonbeam?â Her voice was low, playful and teasing. A safer option to explore than whatever magnetism was keeping her in his orbit, begging her to see how his skin felt under hers.
"Is it really? I always thought it was cheesy, or something.." Michael shrugged, shifting back and forth on his feet as he looked at her. The story was always one that made his mom smile in private when she told it, but wince whenever it was brought up in front of his father. He always hated him for it, always hated how easily he managed to snuff out that fire in his mom's eyes, so despite his own misgivings with the name, he could still appreciate it. To have someone else acknowledge it as good felt like a victory in its own right.
Shaking off the memory lane his mind brought him down, his attention honed in on Star and her movement, the smile on his face twitching into something uncertain, yet excited all the same to see where this would lead. "You're welcome." He breathed, swallowing the spit in his mouth. He hadn't had an adrenaline rush like this in a while.. Riding his bike was more grounding than most people would assume, and he certainly wasn't doing something stupid like jumping off a bridge anytime soon. But here, with a girl he couldn't help but admire, he found his heart racing. "I'm sure it'd be just as.. enchanting as tonight was." It felt like the truth, how could anything top what he had seen on that stage?
His eyes widened at the mention of her scarf, his head nodding as he pulled it out from where he had kept it, holding it out to her. "Here," He smiled, "I haven't had a catch that good since high school.. Was it impressive?"
âItâs a little bit cheesy, but thatâs not a bad thing.â This time. Star wasnât super fond of cheesiness in general, but he managed to make it so endearing. He seemed so sweet, which was something she hadnât experienced in awhile. Santa Carla wasnât known for its friendliness, and sheâd gotten into more scrapes than she could count on two hands before sheâd even landed in the city. She was supposed to be smarter than this, smarter than being charmed by this boy and his antics.
And yet.
He was lightning in and of itself, had struck her before sheâd even realized what was happening. Now she felt like she was on fire, burning up even if all she was doing was standing and speaking to him. She couldnât help that tiny smile that graced her lips when he spoke of enchantment; if there was one way to warm her up, it was by complimenting the bandâs music. She took the scarf, her grin almost serpentine as she loosely tossed it around her shoulders.
âWhy?â she asked, taking another step in towards him. âDid you want to impress me?â She tilted her head, studying, listening. She could hear his heartbeat, how it flew inside his chest. A gleam ran through her eyes at the sound.
Star returned her gaze to Michael as she softly hummed, âWhat else can you do?â
"I'm glad, then.. Usually people laugh when I tell them about it." Michael smiled, almost certainly taking on a cheesy smile without realizing as he looked at her. He couldn't help it, the fact that she was even entertaining him right now was more than enough to have his heart skipping a beat. She was almost otherworldly in his mind, someone he was entirely undeserving of talking to.. Yet here she was, smiling at him, like he was something worth paying attention to. If his face was burning the longer the conversation went, he didn't want to pay it any mind.
He couldn't even begin to imagine he was having a similar effect on her, his mind far too caught up in the way she was stepping closer, a breathlessness taking over before he could stop it. It took him a moment to gather his thoughts, mentally cursing his inability to speak without either thinking every single word through or blurting out the first thing on his mind.. "Of course I did." And it seemed his mind had chosen the latter, with the way his eyes widened after saying it. "I mean- It's not a crime to wanna impress you, is it? In fact, I'd be more surprised if people didn't try to do so more often- What am I saying?-" He couldn't stop rambling, his eyes darting to the side to avoid looking at her properly.
At her second question, he paused, rubbing the back of his neck as he shrugged once more. "I mean, I ride..? Bikes, I mean. And I work out, not to flex." It took a lot of self restraint to not flex those muscles of his, finally bringing his gaze back to hers. "How about you? Anything besides being the best singer I've ever seen?" Again, flirting wasn't his strong suit. But he delivered every word with a sort of genuineness that most people would never.
Goddamn it. Starâs walls were beginning to crumble, and he seemed to be chipping away at them without even trying. She shouldâve been stronger, shouldâve remembered something â anything â like that he was supposed to be her first, that she was supposed to be taking that pretty little neck into her mouth and piercing it to earn her new fangs forever. Instead, all she could think about was how she only wanted to keep talking to him, listening to him, learning about him.
A smirk crossed her lips at his admittance, and she told him, âA lot of people try, not a lot of people manage to do it.â She waited a few extra seconds before adding, âSo, I guess that makes it more impressive that you did. Though you scaling up the scaffolding like that was pretty hot, too.â She spoke casually â more for him than for herself. She didnât want his heart to burst, even if she was better at playing it cool than he was. Sheâd had plenty of practice, after all. Amazingly enough, a small part of her wasnât fixated on maintaining the distanced image she always put up to keep people away, the dazzling star that burned so bright she blinded everyone in her path. She was, for once, more interested in simply being herself. Michael didnât seem to mind this version of her so much.
Star laughed, her gaze caught on the muscles he most definitely had. âI didnât know you were such a stud,â she teased, her sarcasm more playful, no bite behind it. âI write songs,â she told him. âIâm shit on guitar, currently. If you ever want your ear pierced or a tattoo, I can do that too.â She neared him again, running her fingers along his arm, clearly flirtatious as she hummed, âMight look good on you. Everything else seems to.â
She should have already done it, made a mess of him, gotten it over with. She tried to convince herself that she should at least try, and came up short.
âWhat do you say, Moonbeam? You feeling like getting into something new tonight?â

More time together⌠or something like that.â
uh, i think someone stole your cardboard cut out. wasnât e.t. standing over there, like, an hour ago?
( @lightningbolted )
Oh gosh dang it! Ooo Iâm going to get it for that. Thanks - err- Star, was it?
Thatâs me, yeah. And youâre Pete, right? Anyways â anything you wanna keep around here, lock it up or bolt it to the floor. Santa Carlaâs not really known for being warm and fuzzy, yâknow?
Iâm Pete, yeah. Max really liked that cutout. If I could nail down cardboard I would, trust me. Did you see which way they went?
Down the street, to the left. You gonna go knock some sense into them? Thereâs a pipe I passed on my way here that could be pretty helpful, if thatâs what youâre gonna do.

âYeah, well, thatâs âcause I canât be, these nights.â
Her nose twitched at the smell of the cigarettes, but sheâd tolerate it for the time being. The girl seemed nice, and for a moment, Val was slightly envious. The care she put into her makeup and her locs was admirable. Her own close-shorn cut could barely hold a candle - or, in this case, a lighter - to the woman standing next to her.
âSanta Carlaâs been a home for all the freaks and weirdos, so I gotta be on my toes, anyway.â At once, she realized her fumble. She didnât mean to say it like that. Immediately, she turned and gave a casual - and slightly apologetic - smile to the stranger.
âNot that I think youâre one of âem.â
Star inhaled, tilting her head up to blow the smoke out towards the sky rather than the girl she sat with. Her rough edges were still accompanied by a few manners; she hadnât lost herself completely to this town just yet. She noted the nose twitch and shifted her cigarette to the hand that was farthest away from the space between them, flicking her lighter before she took another drag.
âOh no,â Star hummed back, her dark eyes glittering amusedly, âI am.â A half freak. A half weirdo. Still fighting, still struggling against herself.
âItâs not so bad once you get used to it.â
A joke, something to lighten the mood. The constant war that raged within her was exhausting; would it be so bad enjoy herself for a few minutes before the hunger rose again, or her conscience with it? She returned her attention to the girl, deftly slipping her lighter back into her pocket. She was striking â pretty eyes and a relaxed smile. Still, the warning bells that constantly rang in her head sounded off on cue as she said, âI didnât get your name.â

Thatâs me, yeah. And youâre Pete, right? Anyways â anything you wanna keep around here, lock it up or bolt it to the floor. Santa Carlaâs not really known for being warm and fuzzy, yâknow?
And if I shaved off all my hair? What then?
You might be able to pull it off.
I'm thinking I could bedazzle my bald head.
Now that is an interesting idea. You should throw some chains on top too, really make it sparkle.
MMM maybe I'll even make it glow.
Mm, thatâd be sick. What color? You gonna chuck some paint up there too?
Yeah, I'm thinking neon purple probably. Maybe I'll buy fancy hats too on the days I don't wanna do all that bedazzling work.
Iâve got a couple scraps that might look good on some hats if you want a bit of extra shimmer. Sounds like youâre gonna go full disco ball already, though â
how much for this one? it looks a little faded. do you guys have anything new?
( @lightningbolted )
âOh yikes, Iâm sorry about that! Let me check in the back!â
Rowan heads to the storage room for a minute or so and comes back with something brand new. She slides it across the front counter.
âThatâs gonna be eight dollars. You can keep the messed up one too if you want! I mean itâs obviously not gonna sell any time soon.â
Star inspects the album, giving a nod before sliding the cash over the countertop to Rowan.
âThanks,â she hums, slipping both albums into the bag hanging on her shoulder. She peers around the store, until her eyes catch on a poster hanging on one of the walls.
âIs that for sale too?â
It would look good in the Iron Works, she thought, fit perfectly with the haunted vibe the place had going on. The boys might like it too â it was worth a shot in her opinion, and a much safer misstep if she got it wrong than the reckless tendencies that had landed her in with them in the first place.
âHm?â Rowanâs eyes landed on the poster on the wall, âOh, thatâs just for decoration. But we keep extras just in case they get messed up.â
The witch reached under the counterâridden with carvings of various sigils and symbolsâand pulled out an identical poster, rolled up and secured with a rubber band.
âI can throw this in for a couple of bucks. Boss wonât mind. As long as weâre making money, yknow?â
Starâs face softened slightly. It wasnât exactly extra work, but she didnât have to make the exception. Santa Carla wasnât exactly known for its friendliness, and sheâd almost forgotten that not everyone in the outside world held a weapon she couldnât see. Not everyone was poised to strike.
âThank you,â Star said quietly, rifling through her bag and pulling out two fives.
âKeep the change, uhâŚâ her eyes narrowed slightly as she squinted down at a name tag, â⌠Rowan.â
She didnât even know if that was legal (they were in a record store, not a restaurant), but it felt like the least she could do at the moment.
âThatâs enough for the poster though, right?â
âThanks! That- thatâs more than enough,â Rowan smiled, dividing the change into the impromptu tip jar (a pint glass stolen from the dive bar across town). They werenât technically supposed to have oneâit was more of a take a penny leave a penny situationâbut her boss never checked, and so what if her and her coworkers decided they deserved a little something extra?
Rowan glanced down at her own name tag, then back at the other woman, âCan I ask your name? I just- I could swear Iâve seen you somewhere before. Yknow, out and about.â
Star gave one last nod, all set to turn tail and head back home, but she paused at the next question she was asked.
âProbably at the boardwalk,â was what came out of her mouth, accompanied by an easy going shrug.
âIâm Star.â
She extended her hand for a shake.
âIf they ever let you out of here, you should come see a show. The band is pretty good, and Iâd say that even if I wasnât in it.â
She was proud of her boys and the music they made, proud of herself and her music as well. Being on that stage was as close to magic as she could get nowadays, and she didnât miss the opportunity to share it. Star slid the poster into her bag, humming, âThey do let you out of here, right? Iâve heard the comic book store a few blocks over runs a pretty tight ship, barely any time to go out and explore.â
âStar!â Rowan shook her hand, âitâs nice to meet you. And yeah, those kids run that shop like the navy, but donât worry my boss is very lenient. Iâm like, one of three people on staff that can actually make sales, so he basically lets me do whatever I want.â She brushed imaginary dust off of her shoulders before leaning casually on the counter.
âThe bandâŚâ Rowan looked at Star for a moment before letting out a gasp and a wide smile, âOf course! Youâre in the band! Iâve seen you guys play before! A couple times actuallyâthatâs why I recognize you!â
She had started tapping on the wooden counterâfidgeting with whatever she could, âYou guys are seriously awesome,â Rowan straightened up, âSorry, I donât mean to sound like a groupie or anythingâthatâs not the case. I just tend to, uh, ramble. Iâve been told.â
âItâs nice to meet you too. Strange, I guess I shouldâve placed you earlier. I thought you looked familiar.â
Her fingers ran along the strap of her bag, up and down a few times in a mindless rhythm. It was always easier to move â sheâd ran her entire life, but if she wasnât going to bolt, then she needed something to ground her. More often than not, smaller actions managed to keep her calm enough.
Star snorted next, amused.
âYeah. The Frogs are⌠intense.â To say the least. Their affinity for killing vampires was just one of the many reasons she tended to steer clear of the brothers.
âNo, youâre good,â she said immediately, with a quick shake of her hand. âDavidâs ego wouldnât be able to fit through the door if he heard you say that, but I appreciate it. Seriously, thank you â weâve⌠had a lot of time to get our sound to where we want it to be.â A small smile lit up her face.
âAre you doing anything when your shiftâs up?â
Rowan recognized the fidgeting, the need to always be moving, and smiled to herself. It was nice to know she wasnât the only one who couldnât stay in one place for too long.
She laughed at the comment about David, thinking back on her past interactions with him. Thinking about what that meant about Star⌠Rowan didnât say anything. It would be rude to assume. She rocked back and forth on her feet, holding the counter for stability.
âNope! Other than a very important appointment with the joint in my bag, Iâm totally free after work.â
âDamn. That sounds like a great night.â
Star barely held back a sigh. Though she loved performing, there wasnât much she wouldnât give for a real night off, a cigarette between her lips and absolutely nothing to do. There was surprisingly little down time in her life currently, though she supposed sheâd have eternity to relax, if she managed to pluck up the courage to finish what sheâd started. Star fiddled with the edge of her poster, looking back up at Rowan.
âYou should come out tonight, hang out before the show starts. Iâll keep the boys in check if theyâre around, I promise.â
Rowan smiled at the invitation. Sheâd built a little life for herself in Santa Carla in the short amount of time sheâd been there, but there were always quiet and lonely timesâsometimes more often than not.
âYeah, Iâd love to hang!â She tapped her fingers on the counter idly and glanced up at the clock on the wall, âIâm honestly just counting down the minutes till I get to lock this place up.â
âAwesome,â Star grinned back. As much as she loved her boys, it would be great to hang out with another girl, even if it was just for a little while before their show started.
âShow starts at nine, but Iâm usually on the boardwalk by eight. Here,â she rustled around in her bag again, tearing off a scrap of paper from one of the many notebooks and scribbling out directions to a spot she frequented. She held it out to Rowan, excitement glittering in her gaze.
âIâll see you later, then. Yeah?â

â â iâll make you work for it!
â đĽ: @mttztrading
have you seen my scarf? iâve looked everywhere for it, i canât find it.
( @lightningbolted )
đłavenât seen it, Star. Neither have I seen any of the boys with itâŚYou couldâve just always left it somewhere else outside of Coronado-Or maybe an overly eager fan took it with âem after the last show. Either option is possible-Well, anything lost is bound to be found eventually, right?
Damn it. David, itâs my favorite. Are you sure you havenât seen it anywhere? I swear to God if I find it in with any of their clothes, Iâm gonna kill â whatever. Itâs fine. Youâre right, itâll probably turn up eventually. Could you⌠keep an eye out for it, though? Please? Just in case it floats by or something. You know how I am about lost things.
đ´ do know how you are, StarâŚIf I had seen it I wouldâve told you. Thereâs no use in hiding it or lying about itâŚNot when it causes you so much unnecessary distress and frustrationsâŚI got you. Weâll find it eventually togetherâŚIf it takes a while we still will. Itâll turn up. Lost things always doâŚgo where theyâre meant to be in the end-Iâll keep my eyes out for you til then.
I know you wouldâve, David. I believe you. You know that, right? Thank you; I really appreciate it. I guess my headâs just been all over the place lately. Iâve just been so hungry. Itâs so distracting. Sometimes it feels, like, all consuming. Was that what it was like for you? You know, before you⌠fully turned. Is that what itâs like now? Does it ever stop?
