Scamming Restaurant Giftcards!
For those who asked me how!
Honestly, its so so easy lol, and doesnt require a lot of time. Theres not really a lot to explain, just more tips and tricks I personally use to keep things running smooth.
Pick your location, Google a few if youâre in a city area, pick one. Go onto their website and go to âContactâ and start an email.Â
Make up some story, make it sound believable though, sound like a professional, use an expanded vocabulary. You have to make it sound like this expierence actually hurt your perspective on the restaurant.Â
Include a general amount of what you spent! Adjust it based on the restaurant. Donât say your 2 party check was close to $100 at a restaurant that serves $10 entrees. Vice Versa.Â
Dont pull the âracist expierenceâ card. Just dont. I feel like that might be something theyâll actually ask names for and might look into. Something I hope theyâd actually look into if complained about.Â
If asked about the manager, whether you spoke to them or not, always say no, and include an excuse.Â
When asked how to address you, or in your signature maybe include Prof. or Rev. They may be more inclined to not even ask questions, after all, what reverend would lie?
If asked the items you ordered, find the menu online and add a few things together, make sure it adds up to the general amount. (My party ordered this specific entree and this specific entree along with a few drinks/appetizers)
Some phrases I use often !
âMy check was upwards of $ââ
âThis is very upsetting because Ive spent a lot of money in even out of state locations.â
âUnfortunately, I was promised to talk to the manager but after an additional 20 minutes of waiting, I left.â
âI didnât even eat sadly, after the order was wrong a second time, I just paid my bill and left.â
âThe server seemed so out of it, he messed my order up twiceââ
âNot sure if Iâll be dining here anytime in the futureâ
As said not much to cover really lol, itâs just like virtual stealing, kinda like scamming Amazon or Ulta online. Just complaining about an experience that never happened, to make things simple !! And a lot of these places send e-giftcards, so you have it right then and there in your email.
FYI my crunchy peeps! Saw this from an outside source. Be safe! âď¸
info on my booster bag
hey liftblr!
if you remember this post i made a little while back, you might be aware that i recently purchased a âfaraday bagâ meant for protecting your mobile phone/tablet (product linked here) from radio signals used to extract/plant data. my intent was to use it as a booster bag, and i figured i would give you all a little update on how thatâs worked out for me, since a few people seem interested & i think it could help other lifters!
first things first, here are the dimensions of the bag:
(the bag itself, with a regular hook tag for scale)
(here it is when itâs foldedâitâs about 1.5â thick. i fold it and usually shove it down the back of my jeans so it rests against my back. paired with a loose sweater over it, itâs actually pretty hard to spot.)
you can fit a REALLY decent amount of tags inside this thing, though it does get harder to fold the more are inside. i would estimate, while folded, it can comfortably fit 10-15 tags without getting too bulky. if you stuffed the thing with disregard for bulkiness, iâd approximate you could easily fit 40-50+ tags inside, maybe more. i got the tablet size* for 70 USD, and while it is pricey, iâm really pleased!
*they also sell a cell phone size for 50 USD, which is a good deal smaller, but iâm sure you could still fit a few tags inside, and it would also be easier to conceal on-person.
iâve tested it at the following stores, and been able to pass through the entrance* (with tags inside) incident free:
- although not a store, it worked on my iphone, lol. putting it inside makes it unable for calls or texts to get through, and when you bring the phone out, there are a few seconds before the phone âpingsâ with a tower that you can see it still reads âno cellular service available.â
- forever 21
- pacsun
- lululemon
- sephora**
- urban outfitters
- h&m**
- aerie
- aeropostale
- victoriaâs secret/PINK***
*while i canât concretely verify that all these stores actually had towers/working towers at that, i know for certain that the towers at urban outfitters worked, as well as the ones at VS/PINK. i did my testing at a relatively upscale mall, so i would assume all stores would be adequately prepared with LP measures like working towers.
**i did not conceal tags directly from these stores, but the tags i had on my person from other stores did not create an incident at these places.
***this one is a bit of a special case. i walked into the VS side of the store with tags concealed in my booster bag and the towers did NOT go offâi know for a fact they were working, however, because a woman beeped on her way out (and subsequently, an SA searched her bag). however, upon leaving the PINK side of the store with tags from PINK/VS inside my bag, i did beep. more on this down below.
here are the types of tags iâve found success with concealing in my bag & walking out with:
top left: clam tag from UO
top right: ink tag from F21/pacsun
bottom left: hook tag from lululemon
bottom right: hook tag from A&F
now, here are the tags that may have given me a problem:
i believe all of these are from VS/PINK, though iâm not entirely certain on the tag with the wire. these tags were the ones i added to my bag while inside of the VS/PINK, and subsequentially the ones that must have made me beep. upon entering a kate spade store with the same assortment of tags in my bag, i also beeped on both entry and exit.
my lifter friend (who was there at the time) and i tried to brainstorm reasons why these tags might have made me beep. note that we made sure i hadnât left any tags/hidden RFIDs in my purse or on the merchandise i had concealed on my person. hereâs what we were able to come up with (keep in mind that neither of us know jack shit about the science behind radio signals and whatnot):
- itâs possible that one or more of the tags in the picture above uses a frequency that was not blocked by the bag? i believe this would be possible if one of the tags used a radio frequency <600MHz or >5 GHZ. just gonna put it out there that i have no ideas what those numbers mean, but on the website, thatâs the range of frequencies the bag claims to block. the same case could be made with other kinds of signals the website lists that have some kind of range associated with them.
- again, just putting it out there that i have NO IDEA how radio signals or otherwise work, but maybe the amount of tags in my bag created a combined signal strength that overwhelmed the bag? i donât even know if signals can do that, but if they can that might be an explanation. after i started beeping, we went back to my lifter friendâs car and ditched all of the tags inside the bag before continuing (cautiously) lifting. for the rest of the day, we were careful to ditch tags as frequently as possible to limit the number inside the bag, just in case this theory had any connection to why i beeped.
thatâs all the information i can give you about my bag. overall, iâm SUPER pleased with how itâs working out for meâiâve been able to steal upwards of $1300 worth of merchandise with it so far, so the cost of the bag was money well-spent. even with the rouge beep at VS, i would say i have confidence in the bag for use while lifting. although i do still have to stay vigilant whenever i pass through towers, you should ALWAYS be alert, booster bag or not, when you leave a store, and never assume that you wonât beep.
i hope this post could help some people outâand if anyone has some kind of knowledge that could concretely explain the beeping incident at VS/PINK, it would be much appreciated (for me, and anyone else who uses any kind of booster bag).
happy lifting :)
itâs good to see an informative post about booster bags when practically none exist!âşď¸â¨ from what i understand of the way tags work (not a huge amount, admittedly), tags canât overcome a faraday cage like a booster bag with their combined frequency strength. this is because they all work independently, so their frequencies canât be combined to create some sort of super frequency to get through the bag. like you said, it seems most likely that one of the tags you took with you was just very strong and overwhelmed the capabilities of the bag. hope this makes sense, it took me a few tries to describe it rightđ đ â¨

More mich@els stuff
I know its an easy store, but the more inside knowledge the better, right?
So my store had so much shrink (idr the amount) we are switching to the companyâs high risk program. Things like employee bags, purses, and vests being checked before and after their shift. Weâre also going to have our districtâs lp guy in once a month and heâll be helping employees to prevent lifting
Notice I say prevent. My manager said we cannot do anything to stop someone from stealing, even if we know they did it. All we can do is intimidate them into ditching with good customer service like greeting everyone in high risk aisles, offering people baskets or carts, and stuff like that. Managers can also go over the intercom to say stuff like âso and so to the loss prevention office immediatelyâ (we donât have an lp office and if an employee actually needed to go to the office, theyâd say it on the headset.)
So basically, while you shouldnât be sloppy or get caught (cause not everyone will follow the rules), thereâs really not a whole hell of a lot we can do about it other than intimidation and moving high risk item like cameras to the office so thereâs no way a customer would be able to take one.
I know I stole a camera, but there were apparently quite a few missing so I wonder if that was also internal or not⌠The lock up cage is hella loud when you open it
But yeah thatâs about it. Also, even with us having high shrink, no ones losing hours or money because of it so it doesnât hurt us if you donât wanna pay 15 dollars for a fucking paintbrush
So Iâve noticed basically all of the old lifting masterposts have broken links, so I wanted to make a newer, updated one :)
PLEASE if you go to view a link and it ends up being broken, donât be afraid to message me and let me know. All posts creds go to post creators/source. Some sections are kind of dry, but Iâll be updating this. If I donât update please yell at me in my inbox lmao.

Getting Caught Masterpost (not too sure if this is older)
Some Tips and Random Stores Masterpost
Perfumes (ulta&sephora)
From what I noticed I know LOTS of women absolutely refuse to lift perfumes. For me itâs just super easy. Partly because Iâve been lifting so I know what to do.
First, look rich. Look like you have money to BLOW. Act casual and just say youâre looking and smell the samples. Casually pick up the perfume box and inspect it. Say youâre looking for either rips in the packaging, ingredients, making sure itâs the right smell or size. Youâre inspecting for tags. If it has tags, secretly get a pair of tweezers in your hands and try to rip it off. (Works best with long sleeves to hide the tweezers)
Second, you NEVER want to conceal in the perfume isle. Go to an isle that has a brand of makeup people are boycotting. (Two faced, von something). Since itâs not selling it wonât have workers there or even a heavy placement of cameras. You should use slight of hand. Also place make sure you hide your hands. Either fumble around with your wallet/purse and shopping bags and then âdropâ it in there. Make this look effortless. Even the cameras canât pick it up if you do it well enough.
Third, wonder around for a little bit, text somebody. Be super casual. If youâre feeling uneasy then leave in a huge group of people and text! DO NOT CALL! This is SO SUS!!!!!! Workers are trained to be weary of the phone call method! So please text your friend and leave in a group!
Enjoy your new perfume!

âThe staff is distractedâ âI am followed by luckâ âI have no anxietyâ âI am abundantâ
I did these earlier with a small spell attached to them so theyâd be charged up for you all! Inspired by a lil post I saw awhile back by @rise-up-lifting
Iâll definitely be doing more so let me know if you have any requests!!
grand total: 9 + 5 + 5 + 4 = 23 small items
would i recommend actually concealing this many items in this way ? absolutely not. my intention here is to demonstrate just how many places there are on body to conceal (this doesnât even include all of them!) and how compact & natural you can make it look.
a complete post on body packing is coming soon, but i thought this would be a nice little prelude :)
DO NOT REBLOG THIS IF YOU ARE NOT A LIFTING BLOG
How do you lift from lulu lemon I tried just lifting a headband and the sa would not stop following me and she was so obvious about it so I put them on a shelf and left
good call, itâs definitely best to leave when sussedđ° i think that this might have been bad luck rather than than lululemon being difficult. iâve never been but the general consensus appears to be that theyâre fairly easy to lift from. from what iâve heard the best method to use is on-floor concealment so you can smuggle items into the fitting room to detag. you could bring a shopping bag and use the arm drop method to toss things in, or hide things under your arm using the scarf method. or if you wore loose fitting pants you could drop things into the waistband. remember to check the tags though, apparently they hide rfids inside. if i were you iâd pick a different day to go back in order to minimise the chances of seeing that same SA again, and give getting that headband another try. give it a week or two before going back though. good luck!
iâve lifted from them many times so i think i have a fairly good idea of their stores.
TAGS: rfids are inside the cardboard tags. bring scissors and cut all the way through it. they also use tags that require a hook at all of the locations iâve been to. so either bring a hook or use scissors to cut the tag out. you can sew the small hole up when you get home.
some small items like headbands and gloves have both a peel-off soft tag and an rfid inside the cardboard tag. smuggle the item in by concealing on the floor like heavenly said above^ then rip off the soft tag and cut through the rfid.
CAMS: at the locations iâve been to, they use small black dome cams. there isnât any blind spots in the stores iâve been to because theyâre generally small. i also donât know if theyâre actively monitored but iâd always assume youre on camera.
FITTING ROOMS: theyâll usually ask for a name at the fitting rooms. just give them a fake name for extra safety. they might or might not ask for the number of items as well. itâs always been a 50/50 gamble for me if they will or not. you can lie about the number of items you have. if they count, only detag and conceal 1 item you brought in with you. they havenât ever counted coming out of the dressing room for me but always take precautions.
CONCEALING: dressing rooms are your best bet for concealing because they have those dome cams all around the store. conceal any hangers you brought into the fitting room on your body. you can conceal on the floor like stated ^^ but you do have to be careful cause saâs will be up your ass if they sus you. dont carry items you plan on floor concealing around with you for too long. try to conceal in one solid motion -you can fool an sa pretty easily but you canât do the same with cameras.
holy crap thank you so much for adding this!! :0 đđđđđ
Okay so this is how to open those white locks that you guys have been talking about basically the magnet that I used is not that strong so if you can find a magnet that is thin enough to go into the hole your good
a method I used while concealing
I donât know if anyone else does this but Iâve literally been doing this at every seph0ra/Ăźlt@ I go to. So first I get a basket and I go around the store filling it with things I want/need (this is also the time I inspect for rfids and take them off) then I go to an isle where itâs a blind spot and no SAs. I crouch down to âcheckâ the bottom shelves and pretend to be interested in the stuff they have. I let my purse touch the floor (itâs a crossbody purse) and I put the basket next to me and while Iâm checking the bottom shelf, I look around just to make sure and then right there I shove it into my bag. My bag is a very well structured bad to do that helps. I kept trying out and swatching until I get to the end of the store by the exit and then leave.
I donât know if anyone else does this and Iâm probably not the inventor but I call this the crouch and drop method lol.

đMy Guide on Starbucks Walkout Seen a lot of people confused on how I do this, so I thought Iâd make a little guide. Up above is what I usually have for lunch and manage with one walkout. I donât get much but you could get a lot more if you wanted to, since I go so frequently I donât.
First and foremost Iâd like to say I DO NOT condone stealing from people, and all the drinks I take are remade when the person doesnât receive them at the window, that is Starbucks policy and a previous worker has vouched for this fact in my first Starbucks post.
â˘I usually walk in when I know there will be a crowd, but Iâve done this at non-crowded Starbucks because I got lucky that a drink was already sitting there and no one was around.
â˘I usually linger in the store a little bit and look at stuff before I head to the drink counter so that I donât directly beeline for the counter and they can see me clearly not order anything.
â˘I look for a drink that is on the counter and has not been claimed yet. I see this at almost every Starbucks I walk into, so the chances are pretty good. If there isnât a drink diddle around for a bit and watch and then walk up after a minute or so. When a drink is put out, itâs a 50/50 for me: Is the drink owner about to claim it? Or will it sit there for a bit before I can pick it up, check the name, and pretend itâs mine? Wait for the latter obviously.
â˘When the perfect drink is just sitting there, take it. Donât look around, wait a few seconds and then take it as itâs yours.
â˘For food or the drinks in the case, I usually wait until after I picked up my drink to look around casually. You can always head in, beeline for the food, and linger before walking out. Pick it up like you plan to buy it, then walk to another section where they sell the bags of coffee beans and such. Look around it for a bit, then walkout holding your food. I use this a lot when I donât have time to wait for a drink to be made and available, as it takes only about two minutes.
There you go y'all! If you have any questions about what to do at a certain part, always hit up my ask. This is fairly easy and helps build up confidence for other walkouts, and you can use this method for other stores that sell drinks in cases out.
Buy one get one free: sephora
If youâre a newbie and are shy about lifting larger items like palettes, buy one at Sephora.com and have it ship to your house
Call them as soon as your package arrives and tell them that one of the shadows arrived cracked and if they can do anything about itâŚ
Theyâll send you a new one FOR FREE!
sephora doesnât make you send them a picture but Anastasia Beverly Hills doesâŚLuckily I found a picture on Mercari of a broken Soft Glam Palette and attached my invoice in a picture and got one for free!!
Donât do this too often but definitely great, esepcially for those âonline onlyâ items!!
