Ok now putting the rot aside, I'm sure everyone is curious about what I think of the paintings they chose for his card, and I've been seeing a lot of general confusion regarding the paintings

First, I want to state that it's probably safe to assume that the painting on the right is the respective Great Seven of the dorm from which the twst boy is from; Jack from Savanaclaw has Scar, Ace from Heartslabyul had the Queen of Hearts and Jamil from Scarabia had Jafar (which, coincidentally is also the character's he's twst from).

Okay so what about the LEFT painting... This is where everyone is left confused because the fandom was speculating that the painting was meant to represent the dsny character whom the birthday boy is based off. This is merely FANDOM SPECULATION. It was never stated in any official sources that the characters shown in the paintings are supposed to be the OG dsny character whom the birthday boy is based off.

To be honest I was already expecting they'd put a random lion king character instead of a canon wolf character for Jack rip my beauty and the beast wolves but this is also confusing because there are no wolves in lion king. So they slapped Rafiki in there as a filler.

No, Jack is NOT based on Rafiki. There is little to none similarities between them, not to mention the most obvious of all, Rafiki is a mandrill and Jack is a wolf. ...There's just no sense. ''So why'd they put him in there?'' because the painting on the left isn't meant to be his origin character, it's just supposed to be the painting the birthday boy chose to talk about. In some cases, like Ace's, the painting of their choice is indeed the character they are originated from, and I'm sure it will be like that with the characters who really does have clear inspirations. So for the character with ambiguous origins or that seems to have mixed inspirations such as Lilia, Sebek, Silver, Ortho (even Epel, as he's based on an object rather than a character...) they will probably choose to talk about a random character from the movie their dorm is based on.

It's come to my attention that people have been spreading misinformation that Lilia is explicitly "in love" with both Meleanor and Levan at some point. I'd like to clear up that this is NOT logically true, and is just pushed to the extreme by shippers.

He does LOVE them, but not necessarily in a romantic or sexual way. The kanji Meleanor uses during her spiel is 愛, which is the broader term for love and is used in the purest of ways; meaning it can mean cherishing your friends, family, or whatever is important to you.

The three good fairies also used this term for the spell on Silver, saying whoever LOVES Silver from the bottom of their heart will break the curse. So, if you believe that Meleanor using 愛 explicitly means Lilia is in love with them in a "wants to have sex with them" way, does that mean (apologies for this statement) Lilia wants to have sex with Silver?

It is true, however, that Lilia told Meleanor that he would marry her. But that was when they were around 100 years old, which is more or less 10 in human. You may or may not consider that as siblings playing house. Meleanor also teases that the time Lilia and Levan spent together as her right and left-hand generals was more time than she spent married to Levan. She says this to emphasize that they are good friends, if not best friends, and that Lilia would of course naturally love Levan, whichever way love may manifest in his heart.

A few notes:

All of the first years and short/cute characters like Riddle, Vil, Silver and Lilia, are addressed with "chan," all other students are "kun," except for the third-year Housewardens (Leona, Vil, Idia, and Malleus) who he addresses as "senpai."

A majority of Rook's nicknames carry over well from JP to EN, but a few are just different enough that are worth pointing out.

Ruggie's is more or less the same, but Rook uses the Japanese term "tanpopo" for dandelion, instead of calling him something in French which is why I've kept them separate.

Similarly, Jade and Floyd's are given kanji with no French "pronounciation." While Jade's is almost a 1:1 localization, Floyd's is a bit more difficult. His nickname in Japanese more or less means "someone who takes delight in seeing how other people react to their decisions."

Jamil's was changed from Multi (meaning he has a veritable bounty of abilities) in JP to Pyramide in EN, a very drastic change compared to the others.
