I think ugly cards don't take too well with Leona because he's kinda too boxed in the "hot and cool" persona. So it's so jarring seeing his sexy face in a goofy outfit.
But it's ok when Malleus does it because he's like the manifestation of the word fumble with a success rate of doing things right only 10% of the time. ๐ญ Like his GloMas outfit is 90% legs and sometimes he straight up looks like a malnourished beanpole but we excuse him because he cute. ๐
Warning: brutally honest and biased
The only characters I simp for in an unholy way in this game are Malleus and Leona.
When Malleus fumbles a card, he would at least look cute in a pathetic kind of way instead of his usual seductive hot. But when Leona fumbles a card (the Michael Jackson one), he has the sex appeal of a Fisher Price Laugh-and-Learn Puppy.
You need a certain amount of delusion to find that remotedly hot. I think I need more practice.
If beastmen want to cover their ears from yappers do they put their entire fists in their earholes or do they just wear a noise-cancelling hat for convenience

This is not the right place to talk about my sudden hiatus, but I just wanted to say that being in this place, seeing so many cosplayers pour their time and effort into cosplaying their favorite Twisted Wonderland characters, and generally just sharing our love for the game, really lit something warm and fuzzy in my heart.
God knows how much I want to get back to the fandom. Every day I spent unwilling to draw or write is another day spent battling with depression. Maybe this is just the push I needed to finally get my life back in one piece.
Next stop: going to another convention finally dressed as Malleus Draconia!

(I love me a powerhouse Yuu premise but vanilla MalleYuu is also peak. And so fitting for Briar Valley's political climate. Imagine ending the Fae-Human hostility once and for all by crowning the most basic sample of the human species as your consort. Groundbreaking. Phenomenal.)
Yuuya describing, in great detail, how "unreal" or otherworldly Malleus looks-- as if he had differently colored blood running in his veins-- is making me think. Is that just a defining appearance of the Faefolk? Like how Beastfolk would often have ears and tails, is the uncanny factor just a thing that the usual Fae is born with?
But given Yuuya never really commented much about Lilia outside of his deep voice and huge eyes, it's unlikely that all Fae are as uncanny as Malleus is.
Could it be that the reason why Yuuya put so much emphasis on Malleus' otherworldliness is because... Malleus' humanoid form is not his true appearance? Is his Faeskin not clicking 100% with Yuuya's senses as completely genuine? ๐ค
While saying Malleus' fae form is "fake" is disingenuous (he did spend majority of his life on two legs), Yuuya also mentioned that Malleus sounded and felt like the darkness itself. Could it be that what Yuuya was feeling was that Malleus' mannerisms, his words, hid gaze, and basically his soul is so much larger than the body he's trapped himself in? That he was a creature with the appearance of a man? And that the fear that people feel is that creature constantly threatening to claw out from under his skin?

If Malleus plays Tomodachi Life, him putting in a Yuuโ๏ธ as a Mii is obvious, but he's a somewhat reasonable guy so he also has people he knows as other residents.

What he said was true. ... But only partway true. He remembered her mentioning something about everyone being her family after he set them all as her brothers for one specific reason:
So there was zero chance for her Mii to fall in love with any of the other guys in the island.
His own Mii was the only one NOT set as her family member. Incidentally, he also manipulated his Mii's dating preferences to only possibly fall in love with hers.
So when their Miis fell in love and got married... He excitedly showed it to her, saying how "fateful" it was that out of everyone in the island, their Miis found love in each other-- just like them in real life.
Absolute bollocks, of course, but he wasn't one to mind details so trivial.

The next day Leomii disappears from your account.
What happened?
Miilleus killed him (wrong answer)
Leomii decided to move to another island (afterlife)
He died of natural causes (food poisoning)
He died of natural causes (murder)

There are too many folks recently who got hit by infostealer viruses that record all your passwords and 2FA tokens because they unknowingly downloaded the virus posing as free games/cracked software/cheats/mods. If you're really desperate, find communities who can safely check for you if the link you were provided is suspicious.
Finally, a PSA to full scan all your devices right now with an antivirus, just in case. If you believe you've clicked something malicious recently, pull up a device you know is 100% clean and change all your passwords there while forcibly signing out all other devices.

Malleus may be a bit dense at times, but he certainly wasnโt blind. He could seeโ clear as day, as obvious as a cloudless skyโ that his friend Yuu was especially attractive today. But he knew that she was there to work; not to be gawked at by some guy who wasnโt even her husband.
