But I Know I Miss You

I think some of you need to go back and watch season 1 again. Watch the stories before Pitt Fest happens. Dr. McKay can’t get that girl safe from the sex trafficker and we never hear from her again. The little girl dies (they can’t save her.) and it has to be explained to her sister. Even in the Pitt Fest Shooting - Jake’s girlfriend can’t be saved.

The Pitt tries to do real medicine. And everyone talking about how we don’t know what happened to X or Y and how Robby’s story isn’t wrapped up neatly. He’s done with work now. We watched him for 15 hours. Just like at the end of last season we didn’t know what really was going to happen with Langdon. They sent Dr. Collins home and we never saw her ever again. Next season we will see what Robby decided to do.

Medicine often doesn’t tie neat things in bows. I think the Pitt shows that beautifully. As a nurse you know how many times I never know what happens to a patient after I stop being their nurse.

I think a lot of people craved this big urgent situation but in our every day to day life of medicine we don’t see that and the Pitt did a great job. Sometimes you never get answers. (I.e who is baby Jane Doe’s mom.)

If The Pitt has told me anything media literacy is dead.

So many people are like Langdon stole Whittaker’s badge to steal drugs. 😦

So many other people said that Dr. Al stole Whittaker’s badge so she could pull up her chart. 😒

Literally if you watch the LAST episode Whittaker has his badge on him while talking in the ambulance bay. The next time we see him inside it’s missing off his pants. 98% chance it’s in the trash with the bloody gown.

I won’t wear my actual ring to work because I’m afraid of pulling a glove off and taking the ring with it and throwing it away. More than once I’ve lost a head band pulling a mask on or off my face. Scrub pockets are famous for you lean over and everything falls out - I’ve lost thousands of pens to my pockets dropping it as I move through hallways. Losing a badge you clipped to your pants is not unrealistic.
