Maha and her family previously had a verified GFM to pay for basic necessities like food, medical care, and some form of shelter. Horrifically, the person running their former GFM has stolen from them and hijacked their campaign.

Below is Maha’s new GFM. Her previous GFM was vetted by el-shab-hussein and nabulsi on their vetted campaign master list, on line 163.

Maha has been hospitalized due to serious complications from an infected tooth. She is particularly vulnerable to this type of infection, which almost killed her last year. Thankfully her husband has returned from Egypt, but both he and Maha are unable to work and thus cannot pay for her hospital bills. They are over $700 usd in debt for her treatment and Maha is about to be kicked out of the hospital.

As I said, last year a very similar infection almost took Maha’s life. If she is expelled from the hospital, a worsened infection is an inevitability. She still has a high fever and needs to remain hospitalized. PLEASE help her continue life-saving treatment!!

Many people write about us with beautiful words, and express our pain through poetry and music, but the truth is, that doesn’t ease what we are going through. We don’t just need words, we need real support to keep going.

The game treats the Miis like they’re real people and makes zero mention ever that they are not, and only ever refers to them and their POV as if they are real and you are their caretaker! While playing this honestly messed with my head pretty badly at times and made me worry a lot on if I was hurting real people/not doing enough for real people while I was playing!

I cannot imagine how much worse this would be for someone who’s unmedicated, non-dormant, or experiencing breakthrough symptoms! Do please be careful and PLEASE remember to have a way to reality check yourself while playing the game!!!

Dile and their mother have been homelessness for some time now. They're in need of funds for food, travel, medical care, and hotel stay. Dile just got of the clinic after being very ill and it would be ideal if they were able to be indoors to recover. Currently, at least $700 would be enough to move things to a more favorable state.

You may remember that I've reblogged their fundraising posts including a gofundme before. Unfortunately, if you know anything about homelessness, it's incredibly hard to get out of once you're in it. Its just not something that is resolved with one instance of aid. Its an ongoing campaign.

BASEL IS A PALESTINIAN BOY WORKING IN THE MEDICAL FIELD

Basel is only a young man, and he's been trapped in Gaza for the THREE YEARS OF ISRAELI SIEGE.

In his own words:

Throughout the past months in Gaza, I have lost my home, my stability, and my sense of safety. But there is one thing I refuse to lose: My Education. I am a student who achieved a 91.4% GPA in the Scientific Stream. I have the grades, the willpower, and the English proficiency (C1 level) to compete globally. However, to reach the lecture halls of my dreams, I face a financial wall that is harder than any concrete: $70,000 for international tuition and the required proof of funds.

​Why your $1 matters to my academic journey:

You might think $1 is insignificant against a $70k goal, but here is the reality:

​$1 gets me closer to the $60 fee for the Duolingo English Test (DET) to certify my language skills.

$1 contributes to the application fees for universities in Canada and Italy.

​$1 helps secure the digital tools and stable internet I need to attend webinars and complete my submissions from a displacement tent.

​$1 is a vote of confidence that a student from Gaza deserves a seat in a laboratory, not a spot in a bread line.

I’m making this post on the behalf of Nader and his large family. Currently they are suffering in Gaza and need aid.

Nader’s father is in a battle with cancer. In Gaza, medical and other costs are extremely high due to limited infrastructure and extremely low supplies. Nader is looking to evacuate his family and get his father help, but the costs of this evacuation are incredibly expensive as well.
