Have you ever been detoured by life and everything just stops. 

Have you ever strive something important to end disappointed, ashamed, unseen, and forgotten?

Have you sacrificed yourself to keep things balance so everyone else life could be easier but then they build their life around you making things easier for them that they forget you need help too.

Have you struggle to grow up so fast because you need to fend for yourself?

The faint scent of cologne gives me nostalgic memories, happening three to four years ago.

I remember the color of the skies, the shape of the clouds, I can also distinctly remember how many steps I only have left before the fall.

Giggling loudly at what conversation we had, feeling my face hurt for smiling so much. We were young, teenagers you have their whole life ahead and enjoying the moment.

Taking the last step before the fall, I take the last step and feel tugging of the heartstrings; it wasn’t deadly but it is what we call love. Leaning closer to what we feel like forever, our heads spinning as our arms intertwined each other.

The scent grew more fragrant for a second and it was gone, our lives go back to the now and remembering a lot has change and we all have moved on.

I’m starting to love the sound of my footsteps walking away for something not meant for me.

I have always thought that if I really want something it would be mine if I work hard enough, if I make a lot of sacrifices, if I focus on it but I was wrong.

There would be things that you pour your heart and soul to and you get nothing in return, no lessons, nothing.

I realized that not all things would make sense, not all there would be lessons, not all hard work would payoff, not all sacrifices would lead to anything, there would be a lot of times all your efforts will be underappreciated.

I remember you from the sun, from the Summer heat we feel similar to your burning passion for art and creativity.

I remember you from the moon, silent and serene, giving me full protection that even in the dark comes a light that will never disappear when morning comes.

I remember you from every object that you once used for your craft, flashbacks and memories of a person you used to be before everything else happened

I remember you used to have a dream, but where is it now? More importantly where is that person that has hopes and dreams of her own? Where is she now?

I’ve been in hiatus for a long time in writing, and I know for myself I lost my spark reason I almost given up.

When words and ideas start to fade, my burning desire to express starts to dim as well. I have been quiet, scared and lost because, how can you lose something you love so close to heart.

A lot may not understand but it was a difficult time knowing I love to write but the words does not resonate with me anymore, that I could not even pick up a pen and even scribble anything down.

My ideas were running away, I couldn’t express myself, at one point I didn’t even know how to feel.

I got lost and I let myself be lost until I found myself from all the fragments of all the versions of myself and saw how beautiful it was.

I remembered the first time I binge-watch Friends, it was summertime of 2016. The night was dark, but it was hot and humid.

I had doubts at first knowing it was an American sitcom, little of knowledge I had at that time of humor and culture.

Everything changed when I press the play button of my laptop. The first episode stole my heart and it never came back as one, it came back with every heart warming, upbeat, comedy, happy episode. I got attach to it and every bit was special.

Now everyone who would ask a sitcom recommendation I would always include Friends. The show may have ended 17 years ago but I'll never forget the feeling given to me.

I have always hoped there would be a reunion, I know it was a longshot considering it ended a long time ago and this was never brought to light to be done, but all change and the reunion happened.

I promised myself I would not cry once I started watching the reunion but when Ross (David Schwimmer) go in to the studio and see the set from the series, I saw how his smile and eyes change. He was remembering the series, same goes to all of the other cast members Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler and Joey. They were looking at every part of the place on where they spent 10 years of their lives.

Going backtrack, laughing and crying telling things they didn't before. They were sharing with us what they feel and how it feels to be part of the series.

I'm almost ten minutes away before the ending but I already knew, this would be the last time they would be together appearing connected to the show. We got what we want, to see them together again but if I would be given the opportunity to watch Friends for the very first time, I wouldn't say no.
