content: mentions of wounds and stitches, kinda suggestive (?)
This wasn’t how your night was supposed to go.
It was all Emery’s fault honestly. Without her you couldn’t sleep, and when you couldn’t sleep you started rearranging furniture. You only succeeded in moving one table before the love seat sliced your hand open.
You stayed calm, getting a small towel to press against the wound despite how badly it hurt. You got in your car and started driving to ptmc— hoping Emery was in surgery.
You didn’t have to wait long in chairs because Jack saw you checking in and just brought you on back. Something about Emery having his head if he kept you waiting, which was probably true.
“Please just don’t tell her. Especially if she’s in surgery.” You asked of him, wincing as he removed the kitchen towel off your hand.
Jack began to disinfect the cut. “I don’t know, kid. I think she’d want to know about this.”
You sighed, watching him prep a numbing shot.
“Just let her find out naturally. You gonna stitch me up?” You asked. Jack shook his head.
“Teaching hospital remember? Dr. Santos will do it, she doesn’t get the opportunity often.” You furrowed an eyebrow.
“Isn’t that like bad?” Jack chuckled, giving a reassuring pat to your shoulder.
“She’s awesome, you’ll be in good hands.” He assured you.
This Dr. Santos showed up a little after Jack left.
You watched her prep the needle and thread. “Walsh huh? That’s the last name of one of our surgeons here.” You smiled, grateful she was offering some small talk.
“Oh, yeah, she’s my—”
“I’m her wife. And you’re not doing her stitches.” There she was.
You knew she was pissed. She probably thought you were sound asleep at home, and now she finds out you’re here? Through the grapevine at that.
Santos stammered, “uh, Dr. Abbot told me to do her stitches.”
“I’ve only ever seen you do them a few times, my wife isn’t your test subject.” She doubled down. “Now give us the room.”
You shot her a look that said “be nice.”
“Please.” Emery added. Dr. Santos set down the needle and left.
Emery took her spot, sliding up closer to you. “You should’ve called me, texted me, something.” Her voice was low. She had every right to be upset honestly.
“I just knew you’d freak out— you do the whole calm on the outside going crazy on the inside.” You watched the needle pierce your skin and the thread loop the two sides together.
“But I am sorry. I know you were worried.” You apologized, bringing your uninjured hand up to stroke the loose strands of hair that fell from her ponytail.
Emery looked up from your hand, a more loving and concerned look on her face this time.
“Very. The fact you didn’t call made me think the worst. But I see you were trying to avoid my attitude.” You smiled a little, knowing you were still in the hot seat.
“Yeah, true. I am happy to see you though, I couldn’t sleep without you, which resulted in this whole mess.” Your words put a smile on Emery’s face this time.
“I’m coming home with you now. No need to try to cure your insomnia with stupid shit.”
You rolled your eyes. “No. I know you have work to do, I’m fine by myself.” Emery shook her head, her decision was final and you knew that.
She cut the remaining thread from your stitches. “Park can pick up my slack. I need to get my things from my locker, then we’re going home.”
And went home you did. Emery let you get in bed while she showered and scarfed down the food you cooked.
You felt a warm body slip in behind you, Emery wrapped her arms around you, slightly pulling you closer. You smirked when you realized she felt a little too bare.
You chuckled. “Are you naked, Em?”
“What’s it to you? Go to sleep before you hurt yourself blinking.”
You scoffed under your breath— this was clearly Emery’s way of punishing you for giving her a scare, but you could take it like a big girl. Just wait till morning.
Summary: Kara thinks a relax is needed, so she takes her girlfriend to a bar.

It was rare for you to drink alcohol. And it was even rarer to get drunk.
That was exactly why you raised your eyebrows when Kara suggested going to a bar. Her reasoning was that it would be good for both of you, but especially for you, to relax a little, have a few drinks, which would help your body, which was buzzing with work, relax even more.
You didn’t mind the idea, after all, you could see that journalism had been really tiring lately, so you appreciated that Kara wanted to help you relax.
Although you didn’t think that she wanted to take you to a bar on another planet.
The idea itself was strange, after all, you had never left the planet before. But you had to admit that it sounded exciting, and besides, trying alcohol from people living on other planets would have been an even bigger adventure.
When you said okay, Kara's eyes almost sparkled and she almost immediately started preparing for the trip. It was all so spontaneous, but you liked it that way, after all, it had its own charm.
It's worth noting that Krypto didn't want to be left out of this either, and although Kara agreed, she still forbade the dog from coming into the bar with you, which earned her a few whines, but in the end he was content to wait for you on the ship.
¯¯¯¯¯¯*¯¯¯¯¯¯
The bar of the place was full of aliens you didn't know. Some were taller, some were shorter. Most of them spoke a language you couldn't understand, but you didn't want to, after all, that's not why you were here.
A flood of red and yellow colors covered the place, and on top of the ceiling was a disco ball, from which green rays came out from time to time, which brightened up the atmosphere of the place.
Considering that it was a bar on an alien planet, it could be called quite solid, and at first glance it didn't look that different from Earth.
However, the alcohols on the alien planet were definitely different from Earth's alcohols. Now you understand what Kara was talking about when she said that alcohol from other planets was strong enough to make even her dizzy. Compared to these, Earth's alcohol was nothing.
The biggest difference wasn’t in their taste, but rather in the fact that even an average glass of drink had a lot more alcohol in it than an Earthly one.
Kara held your hand tightly as she led you to the bar and ordered you both some kind of alcohol, which you had no idea what it was. Kara simply explained that it was one of the less strong drinks they had here.
Although it would be worth learning exactly what the term ‘less strong’ meant on an alien planet first.
You were still an Earthling, so it was natural that alcohol would affect you much faster than it would affect Kara, who, although it was easier for her to drink here, still couldn’t reach that state as quickly as you.
This was exactly the reason you told her after the third glass that you weren’t drinking anymore, since it still felt like much more than it should have.
You weren’t drunk, but you were definitely more alert and energetic. You were aware of what was going on around you, but you felt much more relaxed. You were slightly dizzy.
Kara, on the other hand, wasn’t in the same state as you, but you could definitely tell that she had been drinking.
Somehow, seeing you so relaxed, so energetic, and so free warmed her heart.
She had always admired how hard you worked, how dedicated you were to your work and everything else that was important to you. However, she also knew that sometimes you didn’t manage your time well for breaks. That’s why it made her extremely happy to see this relaxed side of you.
An unfamiliar song was playing over the speakers in the bar, but the beat was rhythmic and fast enough for your brain to quickly process that it was music worth dancing to.
“I really like this music.” You commented as you leaned closer to her so she could hear better, as the noise of the other creatures and the music itself slightly drowned out the communication options.
Kara hummed in response. “I like it too.”
You smiled at that. “Then how about we dance to it.” you suggested, which sounded more like a statement than an actual suggestion.
You didn’t even wait for her answer, you rushed to the middle of the place and let the rhythm of the music take control of your body. A few aliens around you glanced at you and watched you dance energetically for a few moments. Some of them hummed something appreciative, and some of them were affected by your energy and let themselves get lost in the music more.
Kara’s gaze followed you. Of course she wanted to dance with you, but suddenly she felt like she was freezing as she watched your movements.
You were so graceful, so beautiful the way you moved. The smile on your face was visible, showing how much you enjoyed it all. It was a sight that caused a faint blush to appear on her face for a moment and something stirred inside her. It was simply beautiful.
In a few moments, she stood up, then came next to you and, like you, let the music take control.
Your smile grew wider as you saw her, so you wrapped your arms around her shoulders as her hands found your waist.
Giggles escaped your lips, and soft laughter was heard as Kara whispered something silly to you.
As the music and dancing continued, your gaze found hers, and after a moment your lips found hers.
Kara hummed contentedly into the kiss as she pulled you closer.
Your lips parted from hers for a moment, but then you pressed them to the side of her cheek and planted a few kisses there.
Kara enjoyed this immensely. It seemed like the alcohol had made you even more affectionate, and she couldn’t be happier.
“You’re so beautiful.” you murmured as you planted a kiss on her chin, and she hummed contentedly.
“Yeah?” she murmured, and you hummed in response and planted another kiss on her chin.
Kara’s hands slid under your clothes, her lips hovering near your ear as she spoke.
“I think it’s time to go back to the ship, don’t you think? I’m sure it’s a lot more fun there.” she grinned, and you nodded enthusiastically, letting her grab your hand and pull you towards the exit.
As you stepped out of the bar, the slightly cool air hit you, but it wasn’t cool enough to cool down the heat inside you two.
Arriving at her ship, you two wasted no time.
After the door closed, Kara pressed you against the ship's wall and pressed a firm kiss to your lips.
You moaned softly into the kiss, your arms wrapping around her neck again and pulling her closer.
Kara's lips parted from yours for a moment, then in an instant they found your neck and left a flood of kisses there. Her hands slid under your clothes and smoothed along the lines of your waist.
You tilted your head back, giving her more space for your neck, which she took advantage of, as her kisses moved closer to your chin and she kissed you a little harder.
"Kara..." you breathed out as her hands slid up.
"Fuck, baby, I want you so bad." Kara's voice came out as her lips left your neck, then lifted you with a light movement.
You let out a soft scream at the sudden movement, but your smile quickly returned, wrapping your legs around her waist and letting her carry you to the bed.
As she placed you on the bed, she immediately climbed on top of you and kissed you again.
Your hands began to roam as you ran them down her arms, then stopped at her shoulder and tugged lightly on her brown jacket.
Kara broke away from the kiss for a moment, then took off her jacket and immediately leaned back into you, her lips finding your neck again, kissing you harder, as soft moans left your mouth.
Her hands went under your clothes again and started to pull it up.
You were about to sit up so she could pull it off of you more easily when a loud barking sound rang out in the air, followed shortly by Krypto himself, throwing himself onto the bed, seemingly happy for you two to be back on the ship.
"Krypto, what-" Kara started in surprise, but couldn't finish as the dog started jumping on the bed, full of energy, as if waiting to be dealt with.
"You can't be real. Come on, buddy, why now?" Kara growled as Krypto successfully interrupted the two of you again.
Your mind was still foggy from the alcohol and the barrage of kisses, but you managed to make out that Krypto was practically jumping right next to your face.
Although you suddenly felt frustrated that the heated atmosphere was interrupted, you quickly smiled as the dog's face moved closer to yours and licked it a few times.
"Krypto!" you shouted as you tried to push the dog away from you, who finally listened and sat down on the bed with an innocent look, staring at the two of you.
Kara's eyes watched the dog's movements with boredom and frustration. She wanted to tell him to go to his place, but she didn't, as your arms were wrapped around her neck again.
"Hmm, then I guess we should rest." you stated.
Although Kara wanted to continue grumbling, she couldn't stop the grin that spread across her face.
"It seems so." she finally sighed, but her smile was still there, then she lay down next to you and wrapped her arms tightly around your waist, and you buried your face under her chin.
Krypto's barking filled the ship again, and then you felt him get comfortable on the bed close to you.
And even though the heated moment was cut short, you both fell asleep easily due to the effects of the alcohol, and Krypto's soft snoring filled the spaceship.

You wake before her, which is unusual. She’s usually up first; even when you both have work, she always wakes before you. She’s just naturally more of a morning person than you. You smile, watching her sleep. Her red hair is fanned around her head, her plump pink lips gently parted. She’s not snoring, but she’s breathing heavily. She looks peaceful, a little crease between her brows like she’s frowning in her sleep. You want to kiss the frown away, but you don’t want her to wake yet.
You slip out of bed and pull your robe over your arms, securing it around your waist. You slide your feet into your fluffy slippers and walk quietly down the stairs to the kitchen. You head to the cupboard under the stairs first, where you stashed your supplies, and you blow up lots and lots of pink and white balloons, sticking them to the ceiling with double-sided tape and dangling ribbons and handmade garlands from them. You stand back and admire your handiwork briefly before checking your watch. If you don’t hurry, she will be awake before you’re finished.
You move swiftly around the kitchen, with the ease of someone who has cooked there for years. And you have, sort of. You’ve lived here for years, but cooking is mostly Melissa’s forte. You’re lucky she even lets you set foot in there, sometimes.
You’d met Melissa ten years ago. She waltzed right into the bookstore you own, like a gentle breeze on a summer's day. She slid her sunglasses off her face and into her hair, and your eyes locked. You were behind the counter, and she just stood in place in the doorway, looking at you. The smile that spread across her face made your knees weak, and in a rare brave moment, you stepped closer and asked if she needed any help.
She handed you a piece of paper with a few titles scribbled on it, and when you took the paper, your fingers brushed. It was honestly like something from a movie or a book. Your hands lingered for a second, and then you shyly pulled away, biting your lip and tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. She studied you while you took the paper to the computer to look up the titles. She looked at your laptop, covered in stickers. She laughed when she landed on one sticker that said ‘Mariska Hargitay can hit me with a truck.’
“You a fan of Law and Order?” she asked.
“SVU, yeah,” you blushed. “I’d die for Olivia Benson.”
“Me too,” she smirked, leaning against the counter while you searched.
“I’m gonna have to order these in for you,” you explained. “Is that okay?”
“Yeah,” she smiled. “How long will that take?”
“Four to seven days, I’d say,” you explained, handing her a business card. “You can drop me a text, email or call, and I can update you if you’d like.”
She smiled, admiring your cute bookish card, and then she nodded. “Thank you,” she said. “Have a great day.”
“You too,” you mumbled shyly, watching her walk away. She lifted her sunglasses from her head and slid them back onto her face, her red hair falling into place around her again. The sun hit her and illuminated her when she stepped onto the sidewalk, and you spent the rest of the day thinking about her.
She didn’t call; she didn’t text… no, she emailed. Something about that made you want her even more.
[email protected]– Hi, this is Melissa Schemmenti. You ordered some books for me over the weekend. Just wanted to check on the status of the order.
The email was so professional, it made you smile.
[email protected]– Morning, Melissa! Just checked the tracking link, and they’re due on Wednesday 🙂 I’ll let you know what time they arrive if you want. Xxx
You pressed send before you realised you’d put the kisses. It just felt so natural to you; she was so warm and friendly. The reply came almost instantly.
When the books arrived on Wednesday morning, you emailed her to let her know. Her reply didn’t come until 3 pm, and she was very apologetic. Something about work and how she didn’t think she would make it before you closed. But you offered to stay late for her. You lived in the apartment above the store; it didn’t inconvenience you in the slightest to hang around for her.
You went up to your apartment and changed into comfier clothes while you waited. The day was long: lots of inventory and an argument with an angry woman who said it was disgusting that you had a section just dedicated to smut. You were honestly close to calling the cops when she decided to leave. Your day could’ve been worse, but it also could’ve been better. When Melissa arrived, she was like a breath of fresh air.
“Hi, hon,” she smiled, looking you up and down. You had changed into a pair of silk sleep shorts and an oversized Eagles t-shirt. You looked relaxed.
“Hi,” you smiled back. “Do you mind coming up? I have pasta on the stove, and I left your package upstairs.”
“Okay, but don’t murder me,” she joked. She followed you into your apartment; she insulted the way you made pasta and offered to cook you a proper meal. You let her. She told you all about herself while she cooked. You cracked open a bottle of wine and shared it while you ate the most amazing meal of your life. And then, after some not-so-subtle glances and lingering touches, Melissa ended up in your bedroom, between your legs, eating you like no one had ever eaten you before. You made noises you didn’t even know existed, and you saw stars.
Melissa Schemmenti didn’t leave that night. And she came back, over and over again. She gave you a key to her house in a hollowed-out copy of Pride and Prejudice, one of your favourite novels. She asked you to marry her in the romance section of the bookstore, surrounded by battery-powered candles and roses. She was your best friend, still is. And she deserved only the best.
Which is why you feel warm and fuzzy as you plate her fluffy pancakes for breakfast. You pour her coffee in her favourite mug and put everything on a tray, carrying it up to the bedroom. She is awake now, lying on her side, staring at something on her phone. Her eyes shoot up when you walk into the room, and a smile spreads across her face.
“Happy birthday,” you say, sitting on the end of the bed and facing her as she sits up against the headboard.
“I wondered where you were,” she smiles. “Thank you, baby; this looks delicious.” She takes the tray, looking at the assortment of berries, cream and syrup. You’ve gone all out for her birthday breakfast, and she grins. “You got some?”
“I’m not hungry,” you say, watching her. “Go on, take a bite.”
“Only if you share with me,” she insists. “I can’t eat all of this, principessa. Please?”
“Well, I’m not one to say no to the birthday girl, am I?” you chuckle, climbing back into bed and snuggling against her. She slices the pancake, slides a piece into her mouth and then feeds you a piece. You both moan at the taste, and she smirks.
“You’ve been holdin’ out on me, baby,” she says. “These are so good.”
“Why would I tell you I can cook when you’re so damn good at it?” you smirk, popping a blueberry in her mouth. “I love you so much, Melissa. Happy birthday, baby.”
“Thank you, my angel,” she says as she finishes the pancakes, still feeding you every other bite. When she’s done, she puts the tray on her nightstand, gulping her coffee down. She turns to face you, and you smile, biting your lip and stifling the giggle.
“You got a bit of cream,” you smirk, reaching forward to wipe it from her lip. You swipe it, and she opens her mouth, sliding it over your fingers. She sucks away the cream and continues sucking, making your core flood with need. She flicks the covers off herself and climbs onto your lap, sliding her mouth off your fingers and pressing a needy kiss to your lips as her hands slide down your body.
“Wait, it’s your birthday,” you insist.
“I want to fuck you,” she mumbles. “For my birthday.”
“Melissa,” you whine as she slides her hand into your pyjama pants.
“Shh, baby,” she whispers. “Let me have my birthday treat, and then you can be in charge again.”
Melissa tugs your flannel pyjama pants down your legs and tosses them aside. She removes your robe next, and the flimsy little tank top that you slept in. Once you are completely naked beneath her, she grins so wide, sliding her hands up and down your waist like you’re the best gift she’s ever received.
“Look at you,” she whispers. “My perfect girl. So pretty for me on my birthday.” You whine, spreading your legs for her. It just comes natural; she makes you feel things you’ve never felt before. Your body reacts just from her words; it’s amazing the things she can do to you. “You’re so wet, aren’t you? Being my gift makes you horny, doesn’t it, sweetheart?”
“Y-yes,” you mumble, hips moving against nothing, searching for friction as your clit throbs. “Mel.”
“I know, baby,” she coos. “My poor little girl, always so needy.”
She slides her hand down your stomach, over the mound of soft pubic hair, and right where you need her the most. You groan, bucking against the palm of her hand, and she chuckles, leaning down to slide her tongue over your nipple. You whimper as she sucks on your breast, and her fingers gently part your delicate folds. She swirls your wetness around before sliding a finger into your core.
“Fuck, so tight,” she mumbles, pumping her middle finger. It’s not enough; she knows that, but she keeps going until the sounds of your pussy squelching fill the room, followed by your needy whines. She adds a second finger, then a third, and she hovers over you, grinning down at the way your mouth falls open and your head tosses from side to side.
“I’m– I’m–” you gasp, and she leans down to kiss the delicate spot behind your ear.
“I know, baby girl,” she murmurs. “Cum for me, princess.”
As if she has control of your body, which she just might do, you climax on demand. Your legs shake, your stomach tenses, and you moan loudly as the coil snaps, and you cum hard.
“Mmm, good girl,” she says, quickly settling on her stomach between your legs to clean you up. She licks up and down your slit, tasting all of your juices and moaning. “Best birthday ever,” she grins.
── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──
You take Melissa to a football game for her birthday. Philly Eagles vs Kansas City Chiefs. She cries when you pass her the tickets, the tickets that you’ve been saving all year for. You only want the best for her; she gives you the world. She deserves everything.
“That was the best, I’m so glad we won!” she says as you walk through the front door.
“Me too,” you laugh. “Would’ve sucked if I took you to a losing game for your birthday.”
“I would’ve loved it either way,” she says. You reach for the hem of her jersey and pull her close until her body is flush with yours.
“Now it’s my turn,” you mumble, kissing her lips. “Gonna make you feel good, baby.”
“Mm, lucky me,” she smirks. She lifts her arms so you can remove her jersey, and you toss it across the room, sliding your hands up and down her waist.
“I fucking love you,” you say, kissing her like you need the air from her lungs to survive. And maybe you do. You kiss her like your life depends on it, sliding your tongue through her mouth in a battle of dominance as your hands expertly unzip her leather pants. You tug them over her hips, the snug pants putting up a fight, because only Melissa would choose to wear leather pants during the summer.
“Get on the couch so I can peel these things off,” you laugh, easing her back. “You’re like a shedding snake.”
Mel smirks as she drops to the couch, and then she hisses like a snake as you tug the pants off her legs. You kiss up the soft skin, wondering how the hell she isn’t a sweaty mess. “Love you,” you say as you kiss up her legs. She throws her head back against the back of the couch and shudders as you kiss the inside of her thighs. “So much,” you add, pushing her legs apart. Her scent hits you like a truck once her legs are pushed open, and you groan.
“Fuck, I could live here,” you tell her, looking up at her soft green eyes as you kiss her through the fabric of her panties. You kiss the damp patch, your eyes locked on hers the whole time, and then you slide your tongue against it, making her moan. “So beautiful,” you tell her.
You slide your fingers into the waistband of her panties and tug them down, adding them to the pile of clothes. “Take your bra off,” you instruct, watching her use her shaky fingers to unclasp it. They spill out like a dam breaking, and you groan, reaching out to cup them in your hands. “I fucking love these,” you say, on your knees in front of her, playing with her tits. “Can I suck on them, mommy?”
“Fuck, yes, please,” she moans. You grin, leaning forward to wrap your lips around one of the perky buds, and she shudders as you swirl and suck. Her hands move to your hair, and you can feel her manicured nails dragging against your scalp.
“My good girl,” she purrs as you pop your mouth off one nipple and move to the other. As you lean forward, your own breasts drag against her cunt. You are still fully dressed, and you can feel her gently rocking her hips against your body.
“Mm, naughty,” you say, pushing her hips down. “You don’t get to be in charge right now.”
She groans, and you know she loves it. “You’re wearin’ too many clothes, baby,” she pants. “Take em off for me, let me see you.”
“Uh uh,” you pout. “You be quiet, Ms Schemmenti.” You grab the hem of your own jersey and pull it over your head. Mel knew you were braless, but she still groans at the sight of your full tits bouncing. You squeeze them together and lift them, tilting your head and sticking your tongue out to lick your own breasts and give her a show. “You like that, mommy?” you ask. “You like watching me play with my tits?”
“Yes baby, I love it,” she hisses. You slide your shorts down your body, along with your panties, and you kick off your sandals.
“You gonna cum better now that I’m naked?” you ask, tilting your head to the side and biting your lip. She nods, desperate for your touch. “Reach behind the pillow,” you tell her, and she does, reaching across the plastic-covered couch and sliding her hand behind one of the cheetah print cushions. Her hand wraps around the familiar shape, and she smirks, pulling out the strap-on.
“I wonder how that got there,” you say sweetly, taking it off her and sliding your legs into the harness.
“Fuck,” she seethes. “I love it when you wear that, princess.”
“I love it too, mommy,” you smirk, dropping to your knees again. You lift her legs and hook them over your shoulders, and your mouth dives straight into her dripping cunt. She groans, and you whimper as you drag your tongue through her wetness, probing it deep. She tastes amazing; you love eating pussy– specifically her pussy. You could lie here between her legs for the rest of your life, and you’d never get sick of it.
“Yes baby,” she whines. “I love that fucking mouth.”
Her hands tangle in your hair, and she drags your mouth to her clit, bucking against your mouth, holding you in place as she all but rides you. You suck her clit into your mouth, and she cries out, legs starting to shake. You flutter your lashes as you look up at her, smiling to yourself at how quickly she is unravelling for you. Her mouth is open in a wide O shape, and she is groaning from deep in her chest. She is so so close, and you slurp against her clit, sending her tumbling over the edge. When she cums, she doesn’t shout, she doesn’t scream, she goes silent, and then she grunts as she shudders. It is the single sexiest sound on the planet, in your opinion.
“Good girl,” you say, removing your mouth. “Gonna fuck you now, ‘kay?”
You stand and press one knee onto the couch as you push her legs back, spreading her open. “You’re so fucking perfect,” you tell her, holding the dildo and rubbing it through her folds. “So perfect, Mel Mel.”
“So are you,” she says, reaching her hand out to hold onto some part of you. You give her your left hand while your right hand eases the dildo into her. You watch her face, eyes locked with hers, watching as they darken with each inch of the silicone cock.
“Feel good, baby?” you ask, pushing all the way in until you bottom out and she moans.
“Yes, fuck yes,” she says. “You can fuck me now, principessa.”
“I’m in charge, remember?” you remind her, dragging your thumb over her puffy clit. She twitches, and the base of the dildo hits your own clit, and you moan, which makes Mel smirk. You squeeze her hand and start to rock your hips against her, hitting deep with each thrust. “You take my cock so well, baby,” you say. “You’re so tight.”
“Fuck, hon,” she groans. “Gonna make me cum again if you keep doin’ that.”
“That’s the plan, birthday girl,” you grin, leaning down to kiss her while you pump into her. The dildo hits your clit with each snap of your hips, and you moan against her lips, kissing hungrily. “You’re the best thing that's ever happened to me,” you remind her. “Gonna cum with me?”
“Yes baby,” she mumbles, her nails dragging up and down your back. “You’re so good at this.”
“Learnt from the best,” you smirk, nibbling her bottom lip. “Fuck, I’m close, Mel Mel.”
“Me too, hon,” she gasps, wrapping her arms around your neck and pulling you close. Your breasts rub against each others as you move; your head buries in the crook of her neck and her mouth presses soft kisses to your shoulder. Her legs start to shake beside you, and you can feel the pressure building. “Uh, right there,” she gasps, moaning against your shoulder.
You feel her tighten around the dildo in the way it becomes harder to move, like her body is trying to push you out. You fuck her through it, still grinding until the harness hits your clit just right and you buck against her, cumming loudly. “That’s it,” she moans shakily. “Cum in me, tesoro.”
You smirk, bucking into her until it becomes too much, and then you collapse onto her chest, still inside her as she strokes your hair.
“Happy birthday,” you say breathlessly. “I hope it was a good one.”
“It was an amazing one,” she says, grabbing your face and pulling you in for a kiss. “Every birthday that I get to spend with you is an incredible birthday.”
“Good,” you say. “Because I’m not going anywhere, so you have a lifetime of birthdays left to go.”
“Thank goodness,” she smirks, kissing you again. “Best birthday ever.”
paring: kara zor-el x fem! reader. your girlfriend’s dog seriously needs a bath ╱ sfw: reader isn’t a dog person, short as hell, krypto being krypto
"Surprise!" Kara's bright voice rang out the moment you stepped into the apartment.
Under normal circumstances, coming home to your girlfriend holding a bag of takeout after an exhausting workday would have been a dream. Right now, however, your attention was entirely hijacked by a scene of utter devastation.
"My goodness," you breathed out.
"Awww, did you really miss me that much? It’s only been a few hours," Kara teased, sliding her hands onto your waist. You immediately pushed them away.
"Not you," you muttered, gesturing wildly at the space around you. "Look at this."
Your pristine marble floors, along with the walls and the ceiling, were stamped with a chaotic pattern of muddy paw prints. The living room looked like a war zone; trash was strewn everywhere except the actual bin, and your bookshelf had been thoroughly ransacked.
Sitting proudly in the center of the destruction was the innocent-looking culprit. His white fur was a dingy gray, and his snout was covered in the remnants of some kind of sauce.
"Right... well, that part wasn't exactly in my plans for our date," Kara offered weakly.
Rolling your eyes, you tried your best to maintain a stern face. It was an uphill battle against those puppy eyes of her.
Dating a girl from another planet certainly came with a unique set of complications, and a super-powered canine was high on that list.
While you had never considered yourself a dog lover, Krypto had slowly wormed his way into your heart, to the point where he occasionally claimed a spot on your bed.
"Kara, this dog needs a bath right now," you commanded.
Super-strength or not, Kara stood no chance against your glare and was quickly dispatched to the nearest store for dog shampoo. By the time she flew back, you had already prepped the bathroom and changed into some casual, splash-ready clothes.
Then came the real test: convincing Krypto to get into the tub.
The ensuing struggle only multiplied the mess you were trying to fix. Surprisingly, the dog seemed to take orders from you much better than from Kara, and with a strategic use of treats, you managed to work up a lather. But the victory was short-lived. With one powerful shake, Krypto drenched your entire face, sending Kara into fits of laughter at your dripping, miserable expression.
Without hesitation, you scooped up a handful of water and splashed it right into her face.
"Hey!" she gasped.
"You had that coming," you pointed out, and she couldn't even argue.
For a moment, Krypto actually settled down, behaving remarkably well. You celebrated the peace way too early, though.
In a stroke of pure bad luck, a stray bird decided to land on the bathroom windowsill. Instantly, the super-dog launched into the air after it, barking frantically. He left a trail of suds and water splattered across every square inch of the room, sending your shampoos and lotions crashing to the floor.
Wiping a stray bubble from your eye, you sighed deeply. "This is why I prefer cats."

Dana Evans:
You were riding her strap after you insisted on it for weeks, so having you on top of her gave her full sight of your expressions. You hide your face on her shoulder, but your sobs don't go unnoticed, her hands go back immediately, “let it out, my girl,” her hands caressing your slower back, “let me make you feel better.”
Heather Collins:
“oh, sweetie,” she moves a little to see you better, brushing the strands of hair away from your face carefully, her action making the strap move inside you too. “Does it hurt? Should we take a break?” she kisses your trembling lips. “I'm going to take it out, hm?”
Yolanda Garcia:
Her chest tightness, trying to understand if your reaction is from pleasure or something that's bothering you, but precisely because she knows your body and sounds the latest is the winner option. “Do you want me to go?” she asks in a whisper, she's on top of you, hesitating whether to touch you or not. You shake your head, so she drops beside you and holds you until you want her to.
Parker Ellis:
She stops, putting out her fingers without trying to not hurt you, you groan anyway and start apologizing between your tears. She takes your face between her hands, “Don't apologize. Nobody's mad at you, princess” she dries your tears with her lips, kissing your sorrow away.
Emery Walsh:
“Hm?” her voice between your legs takes you by surprise, she is not a talkative eater, so she must have figured something was wrong. Her eyes widen as soon as she sees your messy face, she crawls to your level, her voice soft spoken “Did I hurt you, baby?”
Joy Kwon:
She panics for a few seconds, not used to seeing you cry like this, you cling to her, not wanting her to go, she kisses the top of your head, her hands clinging to your waist, “I'm not leaving, darling. Cry as long as you need it.”
Emma Nolan:
Her eyes start shining, teary, because she can't stand seeing you crying. She embraces you, her naked body covering yours trying to comfort you. “Let's go take a shower, yeah? I'll help you.”

Trinity Santos:
Trinity stops kissing your neck as soon as she feels not only the sudden tremble of your chest but the muffled sounds you're making, her fingers are deep inside you, she lifts her head and after confirming you're crying, she stills the hand between your legs, “Shit,” her worried eyes travel all around your face, her other hand caressing your clavícule “What’s wrong baby, do you want me to stop?”
Mel king:
Mel feels her heart sink at the sight of your tears, she pulls the strap slowly, trying not to hurt you, “Let's take a break, okay?” you shake your head repeatedly, she kisses you in the nose, puppy eyes and an anxious smile “Honey, you know I hate seeing you in pain… let me fix it.”
Cassie Mckay:
“oh, my angel-” she says, slowing the space of her hips bucking into yours, she's out of breath, topless and over you, “is it too much?” she grabs your face with softness making you look at her, she's pouting, like she just wasn't making you see stars just now.
Samira Mohan:
She starts kissing your cheek, pulling out her fingers, making you hiss. “where does it hurt?” her doctor voice hitting your senses and deer eyes staring up at you “tell me what you need.” she begged, making you feel more undone.
Baran Al Hashimi:
She has her head between your legs, but still doesn't take her long to notice something is off, you're being strangely quiet, so when she pauses eating you out to check and notices you hiding your face between your hands and is on top of you almost immediately. “Love, look at me. Can you do that?” her hands caressing your hips. When she gets to look at you, she says “it's okay, you are okay.” in the most soothing voice ever.
Victoria Javadi
She absolutely panics. “Fuck” she drops the toy she was using, her hands go to your hair, trying to get it out of your weeping face, “I'm sorry, please don't cry. Let's try another thing, hm?” she kisses your eye, and brings your head to her chest.

Summary: AU where Victoria finds out about Garcia calling off her 4th of July plans with Trinity, and because she's been pinning in jealousy, she takes her chance.
WARNINGS: NSFW, oral sex, fingering, idk i'm still bad making these.
Victoria figured out a lot of things about herself in the last ten months. Too many things. Hard to digest and deal with correctly even with a “blessed” brain like hers. Turns out that being smart doesn't automatically guarantee that your heart will be too.
Leaving aside the suffocating relationship with her parents and how eating textbooks all your life doesn't mean that she will do everything perfectly, oh and how she doesn't know if she belongs in the ER or if she actually wants to be here. She also discovered that she's into women. That yes, it could be manageable, if not for the fact that she works everyday with the woman she is high over heels in love with.
You really can't choose who you fall in love with, because she is absolutely certain that she wouldn't have chosen to fall in love with Trinity Santos. The girl who made fun of her since minute one, giving her a stupid nickname, testing her boundaries and patience over and over again, making her feel a type of annoyance she hadn't felt before. The realization hit her a bit after considering that she might like women, the wet dream invading her night, her own moans and goosebumps under the touch of Trinity's hands. She couldn't go back to sleep due to how weirded out (and turned on) she was. After that, her feelings became a total mess (as if they weren't already)
The highlights of her days were when Trinity gave her attention, hearing Trinity's voice calling to her, the bantering and making fun of each other in a familiar way. The annoyance becoming part of having a good day. When she was distracted Victoria's eyes would linger on the tattoo in her hand, when she caught amusement in her tone she had to stop herself from staring directly at her mouth, when Garcia was in the room or Perla and Princess whispered about the fling she and Trinity have, Victoria needed to flee the room before her heart could explode inside her chest. Because of course she fell in love with an emotionally unavailable asshole who was already in love with someone else.
Amidst the rumors and gossip that were circulating about them there weren’t words like “love” or “established relationship” involved, but still, Victoria knew. How could she not? She noticed every detail about it, how Trinity's breath caught when Garcia entered the room, how she sighed when she left like she was containing her breathing the whole time, the way Trinity got more shy or quiet around her and how her pupils dilated hearing Garcia's name or staring at her from afar. She obviously knew, because Victoria acted the exact way about Trinity too. The Garcia thing was the only topic that she couldn't bring up when making fun of her because she knew that her jealousy and bitterness would show in her voice.
She was already obvious enough. McKay knew as well as Dana did, and it turned out that Whitaker knew about it too. Victoria wouldn't be surprised if even Mel knew.
The fact that Whitaker also noticed about Victoria’s crush was a warning that Trinity might know too, but she never made a joke about it, and she fucking loved making fun of her about everything, if she knew, she wouldn't shut up about it. Or maybe she was reading her wrong and Trinity not throwing her obvious crush on her face was her way of being nice and compassionate.
Of course the day started wonderfully in proving her wrong, because there's nothing compassionate about the way Trinity treats her.
She stood in front of Trinity, her eyebrows raised. “Hey. You didn't tell anyone about my birthday, right?” she just wanted to make conversation because knowing her she must have told at least four people about it.
Trinity had a mocking smile on her face, her focus on writing something in a medical file. “Do you want me to lie?"
Victoria sighs. “Of course. You can't waste any opportunity to mess with me.”
“You know me well, Crash.”
She looks up from her own hands and stares at Trinity’s face. She was already looking at her with a smug expression. “You told your mom you were going to be busy for your birthday celebration, soo, you don't celebrate anything? like ever?”
“Just holidays and birthdays, with family."
“Today you have plans with your family."
“No if i can't evade it,” Victoria looks away again, cheeking the patient board.
“You are turning 21, you need to learn to have fun. Ask somebody out, go watch the fireworks, it's the fourth of July."
“So you do have planes for tonight." because of course she had plans.
“Ding ding.”
“Ah,” and here is the part when Victoria has to leave before this conversation gets in her list of 13th reasons. “Woman with appendicitis, I'll better take care of that .” and she left without looking back.
The next few hours consisted of Victoria biting her tongue and trying to occupy her mind with being busy (which wasn't that hard working on the pitt), focusing on work, on the patients, as always, and she can bitch and cry about this at the end of the shift to her chilhood plushie or in a fuck ass Reddit post. Maybe even plan her next TikTok video, “How to deal with a heartbreak at work.” “How to get over someone while trying to not fuck up at work.” And now she's losing her train of thought.
When the fuck are they going to break up? She knows that them calling off their thing doesn't necessarily mean that Trinity would fly at Victoria’s direction. But her infatuation could be better to handle, and she wouldn't be dying of jealousy every time she remembered that Garcia could get Trinity on her bed whenever she wanted.
Then, she overheard their conversation. She didn't mean to, but now, those words were the only thing in her mind.
I made other plans. We're keeping it casual.
Victoria knew they weren't serious, and she shouldn't feel happy over Trinity's plans bringy crushed, but this could be an opportunity. Or her jealousy has come to a point where she could ignore her fear of rejection, becoming delusional.
Trinity's mood has drastically changed since Garcia called off their plans, and it was irritable for Victoria to see how much control she had over Trinity's feelings. Even if Garcia didn't feel the same, Trinity actually cared, her feelings for what they had were real and that hurt Victoria deeply. She could treat her so much better, or well, maybe not, but she just wanted the chance to prove it.
Victoria’s complicated feelings weren't an excuse to be a little shit. But another thing that she had to come to terms with was the fact that she wasn't close to a saint, at all.
“What are you doing for tonight, then?” she asked casually, while they walked out of a patient's room.
“Now you are suddenly interested in what i'm doing?” Trinity was frowning, not staring at her, tiredness showing in her voice.
“Well, since you seem like an expert in having fun,” she said those words with an obvious ironic tone that she reserved for her only, “I could learn or understand how to, from you.”
She lets out an incredulous laugh, now staring at her. “Just do adult things, there's not much science to it.”
“Ah,” Victoria nodded at Trinity's tone. “So that's what you're gonna do, adult things.”
“Do you want me to spell it out? You're a smart girl, use your imagination.” she said, regaining her cynic tone again.
Victoria has an active imagination. She almost commented this out loud, but she just stared at her silently with an inquisitive look. “A smart person can't excel without having a teacher first.”
Trinity freezes, just for a moment, but it would've been impossible for Victoria to miss it, her blatant shock, like she wasn't sure if she heard her correctly.
Okay, if being a little bolder could get this new kind of reaction she will try to implement this attitude more.
“What’s gotten into you, Crash?” another incredulous laugh leaving her mouth in less than three minutes? It was definitely causing an effect.
“I'm not sure what you mean.”
“Why the sudden bolderness?
“You don't like it? I'm just curious about what you can do.”
Trinity blinks repeatedly, like her brain is failing to give her correct information of what is actually going on, but she regains her focus, looking away, “You win. We can go to my place after the shift.” she concludes, pretending it's nothing, as if Victoria didn't see her full surprise panic just now.
“Okay. I'll see you, then.” she makes herself sound satisfied, and when she turns to the opposite direction, she lets out all the air her lungs were holding hostage. Now it was her turn to fucking panic.
——————————————————————
Victoria might have fried her brain cells. Well, not really, she just seemed to discover that she can work on autopilot mood, due to the way she had to make herself shut down her brain to not suddenly throw up or start shaking. Totally unprofessional and ridiculous but she managed finishing her shift without accidents or making mistakes.
Now she's watching Trinity opening the apartment door, she has her hair down, wearing a green long sleeved t-shirt, she can’t see her face right now, but knos that her eyes are tired after the heavy shift. It's too late to ask her if she's okay with this? She knows that Tinity is who invited her, she knows that she's a grown woman and wouldn't do something she didn't wanted to do, she knew this but Victoria’s anxious nature is threatening to steal all the racional thoughs out of her system. She can feel her skin getting goosebumps, the anticipation making her brain spin, was this really happening? Her body goes still for a second, waiting for someone to pinch her and wake her up, but the only thing she gets is Trinity's sudden attention on her, a question on her face. Before she can ask, Victoria goes inside and decides that for the rest of the night she's going to pretend that she knows exactly what she’s doing, (wich is false, but the other girl doesn't need to know.)
“Uh, you can just let your things on the couch.” Trinity's voice sounds awkward behind her, making her heart beat with more force.
She pretends it's all good, obviously, this is perfectly normal, Victoria hooks up with people after every shift, yeah, and now she's on Trinity's house, and they're gonna do things, super realistic and no scary at all.
She takes out her tiny bag, and looks around the place, she imagined how Trinity's room could look like, but not exactly how the rest of the place would. “It's really nice here.”
“It's been more messy since Huckleberry moved here.” she grunts, throwing her keys on the kitchen counter, she messed up her hair with both hands and exhales a tiring sound. “This day needs to end in a good note.”
After taking off her jacket, Victoria drops herself on the couch, she's not going to Trinity's room, what is she supposed to do? or even say? She's going to freak out. She's freaking out. And because she is, she says, “Are you sure your girlfriend won't mind this?”
Trinity raises her eyebrows, approaching her. “You think I have a girlfriend and still accepted to come over?” she stands in front of her, her legs brushing Victoria's knees.
Victoria looks up at her, keeping her face straight but her stare attentive “I'm here for learning porpuses, i'm just asking if your girlfriend would be okay with it,” she lightly opens her legs, inviting the girl to make a move.
Trinity's stare falls and automatically she drops to her knees, “I don't have a girlfriend,” her hand tracing circles on Victoria’s jeans, “are you sure you want to do this?”
Victoria takes Trinity's hands and lifts it to her collarbone, then slowly lowers it toward her chest “I just want you to help me understand how it feels,” i want to know how you feel. She is trying to not sound as starved as she feels, “can you do that for me?” can you let me be this for you?
Trinity's eyes are fixated on her mouth, her hand caressing and grabbing her breast, making Victoria bite her inner lip. “How long have you hidden this side of you?” her other hand is parting her legs, now moving to unbottong her pants.
“I don't know what you mean.” she feel breathless, but words were coming out of her throat anyways.
“How long have you had this fantasies in your head, Crash?” her face is now the closet it's even been to Victoria's, she can see her pupils dilated, she can feel her hot breath washing over her, she closes her eyes, and tittles her head back, Trinity's mouth on her neck inmediately, leaving wet kisses on her neck. Between, she whispers “it is me you picture when you get this way, hm?” victoria needs to hold back a sound, because Trinity's body is fully on top hers, her hand still playing with her breast, and the other one supporting her neck.
She doesn't answer, she just wants to feel it, she needs to feel her, she makes a try to rub her center against hers, “Can you live up to what I picture?,” this plea came out weak and is what makes the woman on her neck lose her composure, her mouth capturing Victoria's with fierce intensity, she even moans inside her mouth, which makes Victoria drip between her legs, she's not the only one who wanted this. It's not only that Trinity's hurt because she was dumped, she wanted to be here, she wanted to do this.
Trinity breaks her mouth open, her tongue not leaving place in Victoria’s mouth without exploring, Victoria's hands are under her t-shirt, feeling her cold skin with her fingers, marking her nails on her back, because she is having her tonight, not Garcia, Victoria is having Trinity for herself tonight, and that was making her feel more wet and needy than ever.
She rocks her hips against her body again, needing the friction, needing the skin to skin contact, needing Trinity's mouth everywhere, her fingers inside her, in her mouth, she whines, making Trinity's break the kiss, her hands going to her waist to keep Victoria still.
“Where do you want me?” Trinity asks, and Victoria feels like she could cry from the happiness of having her on her mercy like this, she really can tell her what she wants and she will do it.
“Take off my clothes,” she begs, because she can't focus on not sounding desesperate. The other girl immediately obeys, she helps take Victoria's blouse off, admiring her purple bra, she finish pulling down her pants, “do you like it?” she can't help but ask, she bought it thinking of the day anyone could see how pretty it looked on her.
Trinity let's out a short chuckle lowering down Victoria's panties, but her stare was still on the bra decorating her chest, “Don't ask stupid questions.” her hand is in her lower tight feeling the wetness that was already down there, “let me eat you out.” she doesn't asks, she says it as if she doesn't do it she could combust.
“If you want it that bad,” she answers, and it doesn't matter that her body and noises totally betray how much she needs trinity, she still wants to enjoy and deeply feel how much she wants her too. Trinity isn't even complaining, she's not giving her nasty looks, she's not being sarcastic, she just takes her face between her legs, and that sight alone it's enough to make her melt, to make her want to open herself more widely so trinity could take all the space she wanted, and when her tongue started hitting her entrance, oh god, she really had to make an effort to not push her pussy towards her face. She was a mess, one hand grabbing the couch's fabric and the other grabbing Trinity's hair, “Are you always this eager and desesperate to please?” she asked, almost crying from the pressure and just after, Trinity's tongue hit the spot that makes her shut up, Victoria becoming a whining mess, seconds later, she comes, and Trinity grunts between her legs, drowning in it, her face becoming a mess in the best way possible. Oh she wanted a picture, but her memory was perfect, and she knew that she could picture her like this forever now, and it would have been real, because this is real.
Victoria grabas her by the face, her body still trembling from how good she uses her tongue, “Come here…”
Trinity is on top of her again, still dressed, Victoria only has her bra on, and she will make Trinity come.
“Fuck, you're beautiful,” trinity says, her face still sticky, her hands on Victoria's hips, fingers massaging her on the spot.
Victoria swings one leg underneath Trinity's, “Ride it.”
And when she thinks that maybe this time she won't listen, Trinity settles and starts moving, her shorts unbotonned but still in the way, her center grinding against, up and down, deep, and fast, while Victoria stares in awe, mouth open, and she can't shut up, she can't, she needs to bring her up “Does your girlfriend even satisfy you?” her hands go to Trinity's waist, helping her, keeping the rhythm that was faster every second. “Do you know how desesperate you look?” It seems like Trinity has had enough of her babbling, because she puts her fingers on Victoria's mouth without warning, and she sucks them, because, fuck, how couldn't she?
Trinity moans, her grinding growing more desesperate, Victoria can see in her eyes that she is close, she gags on her throat, trinity takes her fingers out, and Victoria adds breathless “Does she have you like this, Trin?. Does she make you feel like this everytime?” She doesn't expect an answer, and maybe she doesn't want it, because the jealousy growing in her chest is going to numb her, even if she's having her tonight, Garcia had her may many nights like this before, and that makes her irrationally angry.
In the middle of this haze, Victoria unhooks her bra, and slides down to Trinity, then, she tries to slide out her leg from her, to wich Trinity complains, Victoria does it, takes off the other girl shorts and underwear, and then Trinity's mouth jumps to her nipple, she sucks it hard, now with Victoria's bra between her legs, Victoria rubs it against her pussy, knowing she's close and grabbing and pressing Trinity's face on her chest, she puts one finger inside Trinity, the girl gasping in surprise, she pushes it out again, “Does she fucks you better than this?” Victoria asks, and that's how she gets her to come. She comes all over her purple bra, new and pretty now filled with Trinity's cum all over it.
Victoria makes space in the tiny couch, for Trinity to fall over her side, she wonders if it was too much, but she really can't think properly right now, her body shaking, Trinity's breath on her neck, this was better than any wet dream or fantasie she could have.
Trinity puts Victoria's bra on her face, and exhales, satisfied “Consider this your birthday present.”

Rich Milfs Lottieshauna x Younger broke college student reader….much to think about
» lottie matthews x shauna shipman x fem!reader.
— warnings: age gap relationships. nsfw content. mdni. sexting/phone sex. threesomes. strap-on usage. finger sucking. oral sex. all porn, little to no plot. also the ending was a bit rushed!!
milf lottieshauna……much to think about indeed!!
meeting them online, rather than in person, because there’s no way in hell you would’ve had the guts to approach them otherwise. there’s no way in hell you would’ve ever thought you’d end up in this sort of situation, either, but with your tuition coming due (on top of all the deadlines, having to work a part time job that barely scrapes together enough money to cover the essentials, and having to study for exams, thank you very much) you eventually caved & set up a profile on one of those sugar dating platforms. that’s how you’d met lottie & shauna. their profile stood out to you right from the start, both because the two women were dropdead gorgeous and also because they were the first lesbian couple you had come across, and that (that, in this case, meaning being pampered by the couple) seemed a whole lot more appealing than some rich guy, which you’d unfortunately already seen plenty of on this particular site.
lottie, who, even via text, turns out to be the gentler of the two: it isn’t long before you exchange phone numbers, anyway, with both women insisting that it’ll be easier than the in app texting feature (‘It might be easier to keep in touch outside the site. If that’s something you’d be open to, of course. – C.M.’), which then leads to a group chat with all three of you and private chats with each of them separately. soon enough, your phone is practically lighting up nonstop, a steady stream of notifications coming in consistently, some of which are ‘just’ text messages, while others are generous money transfers for things you’d mentioned needing (at first, this is mostly practical though: think stuff such as textbooks for your classes, or groceries, or even the occasional larger amount to cover an overdue bill etc, etc.).
you figure the couple must still talk about the things they send you, but there’s an obvious difference in how they text: where lottie is patient & pays a lot of attention to all the details of what you’ve shared, shauna is a lot more ‘demanding,’ for lack of a better word: beyond the personal questions, she soon wants to know what you’re doing/who you’re with, and whether you’re studying like you said you would (finding out that she’s got a brown degree explains why she values your education as much as she does). shauna who is also the first to initiate more…….
now, with signing up for this website, you knew it was only a matter of time before things would go further than that friendly texting you’ve got going on, but by the time shauna actually brings it up, it’s not like you mind at all. in fact, the idea of letting the two women spoil you is oddly thrilling, and you realize, once it’s finally mentioned, that you’d been waiting for this side of things.
it’s shauna who, your private chat, asks for your size for the first time, reminding you, when you get a little shy (sue you, one of the two hottest women you’ve ever met wants to buy you lingerie!!), that she can’t get you anything if you don’t tell her what fits. and, as if that alone wasn’t enough, she obviously wants pictures, too, assuming that’s a condition you’ll fall in line with. after all, she’s the one paying for those frankly obscenely expensive lingerie sets that soon start piling up in your inbox in the form of shipping notifications & order confirmations!!
lottie’s messages come in right after the first purchase, checking to make sure you’re still comfortable with what her wife has set up. and while you do tell her that the only thing you’re having doubts about are the outrageous prices, lottie insists: “That’s sweet, but it’s nothing to worry about. We wouldn’t offer if we didn’t want to ;)”
shauna who, with that first lingerie set, becomes obsessed with seeing your body in increasingly shorter, more revealing outfits. shauna, who will instruct you (quite literally pay you) to wear the sets under your clothes when you go out. what starts with her asking for try on hauls turns into shauna wanting to see you while you’re out at the bar with friends or something, then praising you when you send her a picture from the bathroom stalls, shirt unbuttoned to reveal her latest gift: a red lace bra, the thin cups barely covering anything, your nipples poking through the fabric. “There you go.” her next message will read, “I knew that one would look perfect on you. Why don’t you pull it down a little? Let me see you properly.”
lottie, on the other hand, prefers purchasing stuff that will also ensure your enjoyment/pleasure, rather than just her own……lottie who buys all sorts of toys for you, encouraging you to explore new things, and gladly covers the costs. naturally, as with shauna, she gets pictures too!! at the end of the day, you’re pretty sure they watch everything you send them together, which is why, before long, the couple is getting more & more from you: from voice notes of you using one of the many vibrators lottie has bought you, to videos of you riding a dildo she claims shauna has picked out (and looking at the sheer size of that thing, you don’t doubt it for a second), moaning their names whilst playing with your clit on camera.
eventual phone sex with lottieshauna!! lottie who’s on the phone with you, talking you through how she wants you to touch yourself over the sounds shauna makes in the background, grunting with the effort of fucking her wife into the mattress. you’re doing your best to keep up, using the exact same dildo she has got strapped to her body, trying to match the relentless pace with your hand. lottie who still praises you between lewd moans of her own, voice thick with arousal as she tells you how good youre doing for them: “that’s it, baby,” she murmurs, “just like that, oh god..you’re doing so good.” her words spur you on as you fuck yourself harder, biting your lip to keep from crying out loud. you dont live in some large house like you imagine they do, and don’t want your neighbors filing a noise complaint over this but, as if reading your mind, lottie rasps: “i want to hear you, sweetheart. let us hear those moans…”
eventually meeting them at lottie’s compound, the first time they actually invite you over..? by then, you’ve obviously learned about lottie’s occupation, as well as the extent of the fucking fortune she inherited from her father, wealth that you assume also funded the entire estate upon which ‘camp green pine,’ as well as their personal home, has been built.
thinkinggggg about shauna, who takes your coat by the door as soon as you step inside. both women greet you with a quick kiss on the cheek, but shauna specifically lingers in your space & hooks her finger into the collar of your shirt, pulling it aside to check on what youre wearing, revealing the strap of one of the lingerie sets they’d bought for you. shauna who hums in approval, dark eyes gliding over you as she leans in and whispers “good girl” in your ear, before her lips graze the side of your throat. meanwhile, lottie is already walking ahead, guiding you into their home, though you doubt shes oblivious to what has happened between you & her wife in the entrance hall.
shauna who is equally as demanding in person: it’s her who pulls you into her lap once you’ve comfortably settled on their couch, letting you feel the very prominent bulge of the strap through her clothes as it presses against you from behind. it’s the same one you’d already seen in a few of the videos they’d sent you: sex tapes of shauna using this exact toy on lottie, showing you how good she could fuck her with it.
lottie, towering above you, leans down to stroke your cheek with one hand, her eyes growing heavy when you tilt your head to take two of her fingers into your mouth. “so pretty…” she marvels and pushes further inside. her rings clink against your teeth, making you gag around them once lottie presses down on your tongue harder. you can feel the golden band (which you have since learned is their wedding ring) against your bottom as she hooks those same two digits behind your front teeth, prying your mouth open wider.
you can’t tell if the dizziness is from the wine you’ve had, three glasses abandoned on the coffee table, or the feeling of being trapped between their bodies, but either way you decide to go along with it. grinding back against shauna’s lap, you hollow out your cheeks and suck, your lashes fluttering shut as the sensation of lottie’s fingers feeling up the inside of your mouth sends warmth pooling between your legs, and you involuntarily spread them wider. at the same time, shauna’s lips trail down your throat, her grip tightening on the small of your waist to pull you back against her cock so you feel the full pressure of the bulge against your center.
shauna, who doesn’t even make it through the dinner they’d prepared before she’s got you bent over the counter, practically growling as she rips your clothes off & fully exposes the underwear she specifically instructed you to wear tonight.
lottie who stands behind her, who runs her hands along her wife’s side and kisses her neck, watching her manhandle you. lottie who smiles against her skin when shauna starts talking about how pretty you are & how good she’s going to fuck you with the same strap she usually uses on lottie……
once she’s finally inside you, the crotch of your panties pushed aside & her silicone cock buried deep in your cunt (soaked since the moment you stepped through the door), you understand how lottie would moan during those phone sex sessions. “f-fuck-!” you sputter, gripping the edge of the table tightly as your body adjusts to the stretch, feeling the weight of shauna’s cock filling you to the absolute brim. her hips are flush against yours, her breath hot to the back of your neck as she gives you a merciful moment to breathe and get used to the feeling.
it’s better than you could’ve ever imagined: both shauna’s cock sheathed to the hilt and lottie still standing behind her to see, her gaze without a doubt fixed on where your cunt is stretched out around the girth of the dildo. it’s fucking huge, is what it is, and if it weren’t for the sheer amount of arousal dripping down your thighs, you probably wouldn’t be able to take it as smoothly. thankfully the slickness from your body makes it relatively easy, and soon enough, shauna starts moving. pinning your body in place, she sets a fast pace, snapping her hips back and forth to fuck the toy as deep into you as it’ll go. the sound of her thrusts echoes through the room, and under different circumstances, you might’ve felt embarrassed, except that lottie is cooing under her breath, telling you how beautifully you’re taking her wife’s cock, and shauna is still relentlessly drilling into you.
soon, her hands are gripping one of your legs, hitching it up to fuck you even deeper. the new angle makes your forehead drop to the tabletop as the toy hits places inside you you didn’t even know could feel this good. your eyes roll back and your walls tighten around it, as if you could actually milk her dry and get her to cum inside.....
lottie, who gets her turn once shauna has had her fun with you. she drops onto the couch by your side, buzzing with the aftershocks while lottie takes her place between your legs. as she lowers her mouth, she holds your gaze, her fingers sliding a trail along your inner thighs that her lips then follow upwards. lottie who eats you out like a woman starved: she doesn’t break eye contact once, her tongue repeatedly licking through your folds before flicking against your clit; a sensation that has you gripping the couch cushions for dear life, trying not to cum embarrassingly fast. yet every time you squirm away, lottie catches you, smiling against your overstimulated cunt as she grabs you by the hips & pulls you back against her mouth. instead of letting up, she doubles her efforts and pushes you over the edge within seconds from there.
lottie & shauna who let you spend the night. after hours of fucking in various rooms all over their house, they share their bed and whisper sweet nothings (that part is mostly lottie tbf) to you until you fall asleep between them. in the morning, they’ll offer you breakfast, still spoiling you rotten even as your date comes to an end. and you best believe they’ll invite you over again, more invested than ever, now that you’ve met up in person (and they’ve found that you’re the perfect match….)!!
Would you be willing to write a g!p Shauna x fem!reader one, where they’re in an established relationship. And a few months into the crash, reader randomly stops having sex with Shauna. Shauna’s patient at first, but finally just like snaps and asks what gives. It ends up being because Reader is embarrassed that she’s..hairy…and she usually waxes back at home. Shauna just kinda of unceremoniously tells her she’s an idiot and that she doesn’t care. But it turns out that Shauna is actually a giant perv and ends up being super into the hair 💀
» shauna shipman x fem!reader.
— warnings: gp!shauna. nsfw content. mdni. hair kink (??). vaginal fingering & oral sex (reader!receiving). unprotected p in v sex.
shauna being ‘weird’ about hair you say…? fork found in kitchen!!
s1 shauna, who doesn’t understand, at first, why you’re suddenly so reluctant to let her touch you. i think, a few months after the crash, she’d still be patient with you, thinking that perhaps it’s just the stress of everything you’re going through, rather than confronting you about it straight away. taking your pants off soon becomes off limits, and even just shauna, running her hand down your front makes you grow all tense, and you’ll guide her away by the wrist, and offer to touch her instead. even when you go for a swim in the lake, you don’t get naked like you used to, standing at the shore while shauna wades into the water.
shauna, who finally gets you to join her, reassuring you that it’s okay, and that it’s just the two of you, out here.
her jaw drops when you strip down to your underwear. even though you’re not entirely undressed, there’s no hiding the hair you’ve been so self conscious about, dark against your skin where your clean bikini line would be back home & under your arms when you lift them to pull your shirt over your head. even the faint line down your stomach, which you keep trying to angle away from her, is on full display.
“come on,” shauna says, splashing water in your direction to get your attention. she watches you shyly try to cover yourself up, her eyes still glued to your bottom half. “is…is that what this is about?”
you hesitate. “i don’t- i don’t look like i used to, i can’t-” suddenly embarrassed, you trail off. “i used to take care of this, back home.”
“hey.” shauna steps closer. “it’s fine.”
it’s more than fine. in fact, it’s the beginning of shauna’s obsession with your body hair!! she falls to her knees right then & there, kissing up the inside of your thigh before slowly peeling off the fabric of your underwear, exhaling raggedly as your cunt comes into view. your hand falls into shauna’s hair, holding on tightly as she nuzzles her nose into your mound, while her tongue darts out, flicking against your clit.....
shauna, who could bury her face in your bush for literal hours!! she’s obsessed with eating you out for that exact reason, inhaling deeply from it as she lies between your legs…even as she lowers her mouth further down and starts licking through your folds, shauna keeps a hand there, absently stroking your hair while hungrily lapping up your arousal.
gp!shauna, who also has to keep a hand on your groin while you have sex….she runs her fingers through your bush, growling at the feel of it against her palm as she thrusts her hips back & forth and fucks you into the blankets/against the forest floor/you name it. even while fucking you from behind, shauna needs to have a hand shoved between your legs, its heel sitting comfortably against your pubic bone while her fingertips play with your clit.
gp!shauna, who loves to cum on it....? she’ll drag her cock through your folds, pushed over the edge just from feeling your labia enveloping her length!! shauna’s tip nudges your clit on every upward stroke through your cunt, which makes you squirm, too, and her slit ends up shooting ropes of cum all over your inner thighs, your stomach & your bush <3
gp!shauna who holds your hair back while fucking you from behind….
shauna pulled it into a ponytail as soon as she had you on all fours in your shared hut, wrapping it around her hand to give her full control over your head’s range of motion. she chuckles when you whine at the first pull, the hair tight in shauna’s fist, even as you throw your head back & arch your back into her.
with how harshly she’s pulling that makeshift ponytail, you hardly feel the sting of her cock slipping inside, shauna’s grip tightening as she begins to thrust her hips. there’s no way for you to lower your weight into the furs, because she keeps her firm hold on your hair, forcing you to keep your head up even as she increases the pace, and your arms get weak.
“that’s it,” shauna growls over the obscene sound of skin slapping against skin. “that’s it, fucking- take it!”
if you ever so much as try to drop your head forward, there’s that sting again, a reminder that shauna is in control, even as she starts moaning & groaning herself, your cunt fluttering increasingly tight around her cock, proof that she isn’t the only one who loves this.
shauna, who yanks you back by the hair when she comes, so that your back is pressed right up against her front and she’s fucking into you in short little thrusts, grunting into your ear as she starts cumming inside. she releases the ponytail, but runs her fingers through your hair all while she releases, loving the feeling of the strands between her fingers.
thinkingggg s3 perv!shauna who gets a little feral about your body hair in general, literally sniffing it, licking down your happy trail etc. etc……..
shauna, who literally uses it like a personal fidget toy 😭😭 sharing a hut with shauna, who stomps inside after mari got on her nerves all day long, demanding that you lie down for her. she’ll literally just shove her hand down your pants to run her fingers along your happy trail and through your bush, playing with it without even having the intention to fuck you. she just needs to relax a bit!!
wait pause adult shauna who meets younger!reader in the adult timeline and absolutely loses her shit when she finds out you have a bush…..?

Summary: In the quiet aftermath of devastation, Emery finds you in the chapel where faith has always felt like a wound and helps you believe, if only for a moment, that love can be holy too.
Word Count: 6.1k
Warnings: no use of Y/N, religious trauma
Masterlist
The chapel at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center had never looked smaller.
You’d walked past it hundreds of times in your months as a pediatric emergency attending, usually with a chart tucked under your arm or your phone buzzing against your hip. Most days, it was just another door in the hospital. A quiet rectangle tucked between vending machines, consult rooms, and the kind of fluorescent hallway light that made everyone look sicker than they were.
Tonight, it felt like a challenge.
You sat in the front pew with your hands locked so tightly in your lap that your knuckles ached. Your scrub top was wrinkled. There was dried saline on your sleeve and a smear of iodine near your wrist that you hadn’t noticed until you were already sitting down. Your hair had slipped loose from the knot at the back of your head, strands clinging to your damp neck. You could still smell antiseptic on your skin, sharp and chemical, but beneath it there was something metallic your mind refused to name.
The chapel was quiet in the way only hospitals could be quiet. Not peaceful. Never peaceful. Just muffled.
Beyond the door, PTMC was still moving. People were still being transferred, called, stitched, scanned, sedated, pronounced, comforted. The hospital had absorbed the mass shooting the way hospitals absorbed horror, with protocols and blood banks and crisis teams and hands that kept working because stopping wasn’t an option.
Your hands had worked too.
Small hands had clutched yours.
Parents had screamed into your chest.
Teenagers had stared at the ceiling like they were trying to disappear from their own bodies.
You had made decisions with the awful speed pediatric emergency medicine required. You had spoken gently while doing brutal things. You had looked at children and seen airway, breathing, circulation first because that was the job, then seen their faces after, which was the cost.
And now you were sitting in a chapel, furious at God.
The thought should’ve scared you more than it did.
You’d been raised to believe anger at God was arrogance. Questioning was rebellion. Doubt was danger. You had grown up Southern Baptist in the thick, suffocating heart of it. Not the casual kind. Not Christmas and Easter with casserole dishes and polite hymns. No, yours had been Sunday school before service, Sunday morning worship, Sunday evening worship, Wednesday night prayer meeting, Vacation Bible School every summer, revival week when guest preachers came in red-faced and sweating to warn children about eternal fire.
You had memorized scripture before you understood half the words. You had won candy for reciting verses from the King James Bible. You had bowed your head over potluck tables while deacons prayed long enough for the fried chicken to go cold. You had worn dresses because modesty mattered, because stumbling blocks were apparently always girls, because your body had been treated like a loaded weapon before you even knew how to live inside it.
At twelve, you had signed a purity pledge in front of the congregation.
At thirteen, you had learned the word abomination from someone smiling.
At fourteen, you had prayed until your throat hurt because a girl in youth choir had tucked her hair behind her ear and you’d felt something so bright and frightening that you thought God must’ve seen it burn through you.
At sixteen, you had gone forward during an altar call and cried into a stranger’s cardigan while women placed hands on your shoulders and prayed for deliverance from things you had not named out loud.
At eighteen, you had left for college with a Bible packed by your mother, a handwritten note from your father, and a terror so deeply rooted you mistook it for faith.
You had spent years unlearning.
You had also spent years discovering that unlearning did not mean forgetting.
The cross on the wall above the small altar was simple. Dark wood. No body. No blood. Just an emblem, clean and bare and almost polite.
You hated it.
You hated that you still knew what you were supposed to do in front of it. Bow your head. Soften your voice. Search yourself for sin before daring to ask for comfort.
You hated that some part of you still wanted comfort from the God you resented.
You hated that after everything you had seen tonight, after the ambulances and the blood and the impossible phone calls, your mind had circled back to the same old fear.
You loved a woman.
You loved Emery Walsh.
And some ruined, terrified part of you still wondered if that meant you were damned.
The anger rose fast enough to take your breath.
You leaned forward, elbows on your knees, and stared at the cross until your eyes burned.
“Were You there?”
Your voice sounded raw in the small room.
No answer came.
Of course no answer came.
You laughed once, but it broke apart before it became anything real.
“Were You there when they came in?” you asked. “Were You there when we ran out of pediatric trauma bays and started making space wherever we could? Were You there when a little boy asked me if his mom was mad at him because he got blood on his shoes?”
Your jaw clenched so hard it hurt.
“Were You there when I had to tell a father to sit down before I could give him news because I knew his knees were going to give out? Were You there when I had to decide who needed me first?”
The chapel swallowed your words.
You wiped at your face with the heel of your hand, angry when it came away wet.
“I did everything right,” you said, quieter now. “I was good. I was so good. I sat still in church. I memorized verses. I prayed every time they told me to. I begged You to fix me before I even knew what I was asking You to change.”
Your throat tightened.
“I wanted to be clean.”
The word landed ugly.
You flinched from it.
Clean.
As if love were dirt.
As if wanting Emery were something that had stained you.
You pressed both hands over your mouth. The pew creaked faintly beneath you as your body folded in on itself.
“I hate this,” you whispered into your palms. “I hate what they did to me. I hate that I can hold a child’s chest open with my hands and still be scared of a sermon from twenty years ago. I hate that I’m a grown woman and I still hear my mother crying like I died when I told her I couldn’t be what she wanted.”
The chapel door opened behind you.
You froze.
The sound was soft, barely more than a shift in the air, but every muscle in your body locked around it. You didn’t turn around. You couldn’t. You were too exposed, too torn open, too full of old prayers and fresh grief.
The door shut.
Footsteps moved down the aisle.
Not rushed. Not hesitant. Measured, careful, familiar.
You knew that walk.
Emery.
She stopped at the end of your pew.
For a moment, neither of you spoke.
You kept your eyes fixed on the cross because looking at her felt impossible. You could handle anger. You could handle silence. You could maybe even handle God, though you weren’t sure about that yet.
You didn’t know if you could handle Emery seeing this much of you.
Her voice came low and quiet.
“Can I sit with you?”
The question hurt more than it should have.
No one in your childhood church had asked permission before touching you at the altar. Hands had descended on you like ownership. Prayers had been spoken over your bowed head like you weren’t a person so much as a problem.
Emery asked.
You nodded once.
She slid into the pew beside you, leaving a careful few inches of space between your thigh and hers. Not distant. Not absent. Just respectful. She smelled faintly of surgical soap and coffee gone stale. Her white coat was gone, and without it she looked less like the sharp, immovable attending surgeon everyone knew and more like a person who had survived the same impossible night you had.
A silver Star of David rested against the hollow of her throat, half-visible above the collar of her scrub shirt. You had seen it before, usually quick flashes when she bent over a chart or pulled her badge lanyard aside. Tonight, in the chapel light, it seemed brighter. Not flashy. Just present.
Steady.
You stared at it because it was easier than staring at her face.
“I didn’t know where else to go,” you said.
Emery’s hands rested loosely in her lap. “That makes sense.”
“Does it?”
“Yes.”
“I came here to be angry.”
“That also makes sense.”
You let out a humorless breath. “You’re being very agreeable.”
“I’m trying something new. Don’t get attached.”
Despite yourself, your mouth twitched.
Then it collapsed.
“I’m so tired, Emery.”
“I know.”
“No, I’m tired in a way sleep won’t fix.” Your voice cracked. “I’m tired in my bones. I’m tired in the parts of me that still think suffering is proof of holiness. I’m tired of being good. I’m tired of being scared. I’m tired of feeling like if I’m happy for too long, something is going to come collect payment.”
Emery turned slightly toward you.
At work, Emery Walsh didn’t soften easily. She was brilliant and biting and controlled. She could cut through an argument with one sentence. She could make residents rethink their entire career with a look. She could stand in a trauma bay and make chaos organize itself around her voice.
But here, away from monitors and blood pressure cuffs and OR lights, her edges shifted.
She didn’t become someone else.
She just stopped defending the soft parts.
“I don’t want to say the wrong thing,” she said.
That surprised you enough that you looked at her.
Her eyes were dark and tired, but focused completely on you.
“You?” you asked. “Not wanting to say something?”
“I know. Alert the media.”
You huffed a tiny laugh, and it immediately turned into a shaky inhale.
Emery’s expression gentled. “I’m serious. I don’t carry religion the way you do. I don’t want to pretend I understand the exact shape of this.”
You looked down at your hands. “You don’t believe in hell.”
“Not like that.”
“Not like me.”
“No.” Her voice stayed careful. “I grew up Jewish, but modern. Cultural, mostly. We did Shabbat dinners when my mother had the energy. My grandmother lit candles every Friday night whether she was angry, grieving, busy, or pretending not to be all three. We had Passover seders where every adult argued over the Haggadah like the fate of the world depended on footnotes. We went to synagogue on the High Holidays. I learned enough Hebrew to make my bat mitzvah tutor question her career choices.”
A weak smile tugged at you.
Emery touched the Star of David lightly, almost absently.
“I don’t keep kosher. I work on Saturdays, obviously. My relationship with God is less obedience and more ongoing litigation.” Her mouth curved faintly. “Very Jewish of me, actually.”
You let out a breath that was almost a laugh.
“But I don’t have what you have,” she continued. “I wasn’t raised with eternal punishment hanging over my head because of who I might love. Nobody told me my desire made me dirty. Nobody made me stand in front of a congregation and promise to become smaller so God would tolerate me.”
Your eyes filled again.
Emery saw it and lowered her voice.
“And I am so sorry they did that to you.”
The words hit deep.
You looked away quickly, but the tears came anyway.
“They thought they were saving me.”
“Maybe they did.”
“That doesn’t make it better.”
“No,” Emery said. “It doesn’t.”
You swallowed hard.
“My father used to say the narrow road was supposed to hurt,” you said. “He said if the world accepted you, you should worry about your soul.”
Emery’s jaw tightened.
You watched the muscle jump once near her cheek.
“My mother used to inspect my clothes before church,” you continued. “Too short, too tight, too worldly. She’d say, ‘You don’t want your body to lead someone into sin.’ I was ten. Ten years old, and already my body was being treated like a threat.”
Emery whispered your name.
You kept going because stopping felt worse.
“I was the girl who knew all the answers in Bible drill. I knew the books in order. I knew which verses to quote when someone asked about obedience, purity, sacrifice. I knew how to smile when the pastor preached about wives submitting to husbands. I knew how to bow my head when he preached about Sodom, even though my whole body would go cold.”
Your hands shook in your lap.
“And I still became this,” you said.
Emery’s face changed.
Not anger exactly.
Pain.
“No,” she said.
You glanced at her.
“No,” she repeated, firmer. “You did not still become this. You survived becoming yourself.”
The sentence broke something open in your chest.
You covered your face with one hand, but Emery didn’t let the silence turn empty.
“You were a child,” she said. “A child who wanted to be loved by her family and her church and her God. You did what children do. You tried to be safe.”
“I prayed so hard.”
“I believe you.”
“I prayed until I felt sick. I prayed for God to take it away.” Your voice frayed. “I made lists of sins in my journal. I fasted once because a girl from youth group hugged me too long and I thought maybe hunger would make me holy enough to stop wanting. I thought if I punished myself first, maybe God wouldn’t have to.”
Emery’s hand moved across the pew between you, palm up.
Not grabbing.
Not assuming.
Waiting.
You stared at her hand.
Then you took it.
Her fingers curled around yours with a steadiness that made your throat ache.
“I wish I could go back,” Emery said softly.
You looked at her.
“To you then,” she said. “That little girl in church. That teenager starving herself over a hug. I wish I could sit next to her and tell her there was never anything rotten in her.”
Your lips parted, but no sound came.
Emery’s thumb brushed over your knuckles.
“And I know that’s not how time works. Trust me, medicine would be significantly less frustrating if it did. But I can tell you now.”
Your tears slipped down your face unchecked.
“There is nothing rotten in you.”
You shook your head.
“You don’t have to believe me all at once,” Emery said. “Just don’t argue with me. I’m very tired, and I will win.”
A wet laugh escaped you.
“There you are,” she murmured.
The tenderness in it made you cry harder.
You leaned forward again, still holding her hand, and tried to breathe through the pressure in your chest.
“It’s not just my family,” you said. “It’s the whole structure of it. The hymns. The smell of the sanctuary. The way everybody knew everybody’s business but called it fellowship. The way women whispered prayer requests that were really warnings. The way men could be cruel and call it leadership. The way every part of me was trained to ask, ‘Is this pleasing to God?’ before I asked, ‘Is this hurting me?’”
Emery listened.
She didn’t interrupt. She didn’t flinch. She didn’t search for a neat answer.
“So when I started falling for you,” you whispered, “I felt it again.”
“What?”
“That old panic.” You turned toward her. “You’d hand me coffee after a bad shift, and I’d feel happy, and then immediately guilty. You’d text me something sarcastic and stupid, and I’d smile at my phone like an idiot, and then hear my mother’s voice telling me sin always disguises itself as joy.”
Emery’s mouth tightened.
“You’d kiss me,” you said, voice breaking, “and I’d feel like I had finally found a place inside my own body that didn’t hurt. Then afterward, I’d lie awake wondering if peace could be a trick.”
Emery closed her eyes briefly.
When she opened them, they were wet.
“You never told me it was that bad.”
“I didn’t want you to think I regretted you.”
“Do you?”
“No.” The answer came instantly. “No, Emery, never.”
She nodded, but her eyes stayed on yours.
“I regret that I’m like this,” you said. “I regret that loving me means loving someone who might cry in a hospital chapel because she can’t separate desire from damnation.”
“I don’t regret loving you.”
The words were quiet.
They stopped you cold.
Your breath caught.
Emery seemed to realize what she’d said at the same time you did, but she didn’t take it back. She just looked at you, open and scared in a way you had never seen from her at work.
The beginning of your relationship had been full of carefulness. The kind that came from two people with demanding jobs, long hours, and histories that had taught them caution. You were still learning the shape of each other. Emery knew how you took your tea after night shifts, how you went silent when you were overwhelmed, how you sometimes needed to sit in your car for ten minutes before driving home because pediatric death demanded rituals no one wrote into training.
You knew Emery pretended not to care about birthdays but remembered everyone else’s. You knew she claimed to hate sentiment and still kept a photograph of her grandmother tucked behind her hospital ID. You knew she touched the mezuzah on the doorframe of her apartment so quickly you might’ve missed it if you hadn’t been falling in love with every small thing she did.
But neither of you had said this yet.
Not plainly.
Not here.
“You love me?” you asked.
Emery let out a breath, almost a laugh, but too fragile to be amused.
“Yes.”
The word moved through you like a wound and a blessing.
“I was going to tell you somewhere less aggressively symbolic,” she said.
A sob-laugh shook out of you.
“Maybe over dinner,” Emery continued. “Maybe after you made fun of me for pretending store-bought challah was a personal failure. Maybe not after a mass casualty event in a chapel under a cross while both of us smell like an emergency department.”
“You made challah?”
“I attempted challah.”
“That’s very different.”
“It was structurally unsound.”
You laughed again, and Emery smiled at you with such tenderness that the laughter dissolved.
“I love you,” she said again, quieter this time. “I love you in a way I did not plan for and cannot clinically justify, which is irritating.”
Your hand tightened around hers.
“I love how you talk to children like they’re full people, even when everyone around them is panicking. I love how you crouch so you’re not towering over them. I love that you put dinosaur stickers in the pocket of your scrub jacket and pretend you don’t have favorites even though the triceratops is clearly your emotional support dinosaur.”
Your tears kept falling, but your mouth trembled into something close to a smile.
“I love how angry you get when people dismiss children’s pain,” Emery said. “I love that you can be gentle and terrifying in the same breath. I love that you know exactly when to soften your voice and exactly when to make a consultant regret calling pediatrics dramatic.”
“You like that?”
“I find it deeply attractive.”
You laughed through tears. “That’s concerning.”
“I’m a surgeon.”
“Right.”
Her thumb moved slowly over your hand.
“And I love you here,” she said. “In this room. With this fear. With this history. With the parts you’re afraid will make me leave.”
You shook your head, overwhelmed. “You don’t know how much there is.”
“Then tell me.”
“It’s ugly.”
“Tell me.”
You stared at the cross again.
Your voice came out barely above a whisper.
“When I realized I loved you, really loved you, not just wanted you or admired you or felt safe with you, I heard my pastor’s voice. Not my current thoughts. His voice. Clear as anything. He used to say hell was separation from God, but he described it like fire. Endless fire. He said people chose it when they chose sin over salvation.”
Emery’s grip tightened, but she stayed quiet.
“And I thought, what if he was right?” you said. “What if all of this softness with you is rebellion? What if the safest I’ve ever felt is just me walking farther away from God?”
The words came faster now, pulled out of some deep place you usually kept locked.
“And then I hated myself for even thinking that because you’re not sin to me. You’re not temptation. You’re not some test I’m failing. You’re the person who makes me want to come home after work instead of sitting in my car until I’m numb. You’re the person I want to tell when I lose a patient and when I save one. You’re the person I think of when the world feels unbearable and I need to remember there’s still tenderness in it.”
Emery’s eyes shone.
You turned fully toward her.
“And if loving you means I’m condemned by the version of God they gave me, then I don’t want that God.”
The chapel seemed to hold its breath.
You were shaking now, but the words kept coming.
“I don’t want a heaven where I have to be empty to enter. I don’t want salvation that requires me to deny the one person who makes me feel like I’m not beyond saving.”
Emery whispered your name again, but you weren’t finished.
Your voice broke open.
“If I am damned to hell because I have fallen for a woman I love, I wish to burn for eternity if it means I get to live my life with you.”
Emery’s face crumpled.
Not completely. Emery Walsh did not fall apart easily. But enough.
Enough that you saw the precise moment your words hurt her because she loved you. Enough that you saw tenderness turn fierce.
She shifted closer, still holding your hand.
“No,” she said.
The word was soft, but immovable.
You blinked through tears.
“No,” she said again. “I need you to hear me. I need you to really hear me.”
You nodded, though your breath was shaking.
“You do not have to burn for me.”
Your face twisted.
“You do not have to imagine yourself suffering forever to prove your love is real. You do not have to make your pain noble. You do not have to offer yourself up to hell because someone taught you love and punishment belonged in the same sentence.”
Her voice trembled then, just barely.
“I will not be the woman you love at the cost of yourself.”
You covered your mouth with your free hand.
Emery moved carefully, then lifted her other hand to your cheek. She paused before touching you, giving you the chance to pull away.
You didn’t.
Her palm settled against your skin.
“You do not have to burn,” she said. “Not for me. Not for God. Not for your parents. Not for some pastor who scared children and called it righteousness.”
A sob broke out of you.
Emery leaned closer, her forehead nearly touching yours.
“In my family,” she said, voice low, “faith was not always soft. It carried grief. History. Survival. My grandmother used to say being Jewish meant learning how to ask questions even when the answers broke your heart. She said we wrestle with God because we’re still in the room.”
You stared at her, tears blurring her face.
“I’m not saying that to replace what you believe,” Emery said. “I’m not here to convert you or correct you or tell you what God is. That would be arrogant, and despite my reputation, I do try to limit my arrogance to clinical settings.”
A broken laugh slipped from you.
“But I can tell you what I see,” she continued. “I see a woman who has spent her life healing children while carrying a wound no one bothered to treat gently. I see a woman who learned compassion in a place that did not always give it back. I see a woman who is angry because some part of her knows she deserved better.”
Her thumb brushed your cheekbone, catching a tear.
“And I see the woman I love.”
You closed your eyes.
The word love was still new between you, bright and fragile, but Emery held it like she meant to protect it.
“I don’t know how to stop being afraid,” you whispered.
“You don’t have to stop tonight.”
“I want to.”
“I know.”
“I want to be with you without flinching afterward.”
“We’ll work toward that.”
“What if I never get there?”
“Then I’ll keep holding your hand while you flinch.”
Your eyes opened.
Emery looked directly at you.
“I won’t pretend it won’t hurt sometimes,” she said. “I’m not that generous or that naive. It will hurt to see you afraid of something between us that is good. It will hurt when the voices that harmed you get a seat at our table. But that doesn’t mean you’re too much. It means we name them when they show up, and we don’t let them pretend they’re truth.”
You swallowed hard.
“What if I start believing them again?”
“Then I’ll remind you.”
“What if I push you away?”
“I’ll ask whether you want space or whether you’re testing if I’ll leave.”
You let out a shaky breath.
“And if I don’t know?”
“Then I’ll sit on the floor outside the locked emotional door and make sarcastic comments until you open it.”
You laughed, really laughed this time, though it came through tears.
Emery’s mouth softened.
“There,” she said. “That sound is very inconveniently important to me.”
“I hate that you can still make me laugh right now.”
“No, you don’t.”
“No, I don’t.”
For a moment, the chapel was quiet again.
You looked toward the cross, then toward Emery’s Star of David. Two symbols in the same small room. One that had been used to terrify you. One that rested against the chest of the woman holding you through the terror.
You reached out with your free hand, hesitant, then stopped.
Emery glanced down. “You can touch it.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.”
Your fingertips brushed the small silver star.
It was warm from her skin.
“I noticed it the first time we kissed,” you admitted.
Emery’s eyebrows lifted. “That’s what you were thinking about?”
“I was thinking a lot of things.”
“I should hope so.”
You smiled faintly.
“I thought it was beautiful,” you said. “Then I panicked because I remembered a sermon about being unequally yoked.”
Emery groaned softly. “I’m going to have words with every adult from your childhood.”
“That’s a long list.”
“I’m efficient.”
You traced the edge of the pendant once before letting your hand fall.
“What does it feel like for you?” you asked.
“Being Jewish?”
You nodded.
Emery thought for a moment. She didn’t rush. You loved that about her more than you knew how to admit, the way she could be brutally fast in medicine and deeply deliberate in intimacy.
“It feels like family first,” she said. “Even when family is complicated. It feels like my grandmother’s hands covering mine when I was little and she taught me the blessing over the candles. It feels like my mother telling me stories in the kitchen while pretending she wasn’t crying over onions. It feels like arguing, food, memory, stubbornness.”
Her eyes drifted toward the small altar, but not the cross exactly.
“It feels like grief I inherited and joy I inherited too. Bagels after services. My cousins getting too loud at seders. My aunt insisting every illness can be improved with soup. Lighting yahrzeit candles and not knowing what I believe happens after death, but knowing remembering matters.”
You listened, held still by the intimacy of it.
“It doesn’t feel like fear of hell,” Emery said. “I don’t have that architecture inside me. I have guilt, because apparently no Jewish family lets you leave childhood without some, but not this kind. Not terror that love could condemn me.”
“I envy that.”
“I know.”
“Does that make me awful?”
“No. It makes you honest.”
You looked down. “Sometimes I think I don’t even want faith anymore. Then something terrible happens, and I find myself looking for God like a child looking for her mother in a crowd.”
Emery’s expression softened with recognition, not of the theology, but of the ache.
“That doesn’t make you weak.”
“It feels weak.”
“It sounds human.”
You leaned back against the pew, exhausted now in a different way. The rage had burned hot and fast, leaving ash. Beneath it was grief. Beneath that, a kind of stunned tenderness you didn’t know what to do with.
“I don’t know what I believe,” you said.
“That’s allowed.”
“Not where I come from.”
“You’re not there right now.”
The simplicity of it made your breath catch.
You looked around the chapel again. Small altar. Simple cross. A few rows of pews. A box of tissues on a side table. A battery-operated candle flickering near a book of prayers written by strangers.
You were not in the church of your childhood.
No one was waiting at the door to report you.
No pastor was asking if you had surrendered.
No parent was crying because you had refused to disappear.
There was only Emery.
Emery, who loved you.
Emery, who touched the mezuzah at her apartment and cursed in operating rooms. Emery, who knew the prayers over candles but did not keep kosher. Emery, who argued with God as inheritance rather than feared Him as executioner. Emery, whose hands could cut into a body to save it and now held your face like you were something holy.
“I don’t want to lose you,” you said.
“You haven’t.”
“I might be difficult.”
“You’ve just come off a shift that would break most people, and you’re sitting here trying to make sense of everything they taught you to fear. I think ‘difficult’ doesn’t even begin to cover it.”
You gave her a look.
“What?” she said. “I’m validating you.”
“That’s not what validation sounds like.”
“I’m new to this.”
“You’re doing okay.”
“High praise.”
You smiled, then sobered.
“I’m serious,” you said. “I don’t know how to be loved without bracing for the cost.”
Emery’s eyes searched yours.
“Then let me start small.”
“With what?”
“With no cost tonight.”
Your brow furrowed.
“I’ll sit here with you,” Emery said. “No fixing. No demands. No expectation that you become less afraid because I said something tender and useful. No punishment because you cried. No disappointment because you’re not healed on schedule.”
Your lips trembled.
“You’ll just sit here?”
“Yes.”
“For how long?”
“As long as we can before the hospital remembers we exist.”
You nodded slowly.
Emery shifted closer, and this time the space between you disappeared. Your knees touched. Her shoulder brushed yours. She released your hand only to wrap her arm around you, and you went into her carefully at first, then all at once.
Your head found the curve of her shoulder.
Her cheek rested against your hair.
You could feel the Star of David between you, pressed lightly against your temple through the fabric of her scrub top.
For reasons you couldn’t explain, that undid you almost as much as the cross had.
Not because it accused you.
Because it didn’t.
It simply existed there with her. A piece of her history, her people, her family, her way of making meaning. It didn’t demand that you abandon your questions. It didn’t ask you to be less wounded. It didn’t compete with the wreckage inside you.
It was just there.
So was she.
“I love you,” you whispered.
Emery’s arm tightened around you.
“I love you too.”
“I’m scared.”
“I know.”
“I’m angry.”
“I know.”
“I don’t want to forgive them yet.”
“Then don’t.”
You pulled back slightly to look at her. “Isn’t that the part where you’re supposed to tell me forgiveness is for me, not them?”
Emery’s mouth twisted. “Do I look like a throw pillow with a quote stitched on it?”
A laugh escaped you.
“No.”
“Good. Then no. I’m not going to rush you toward forgiveness because it’s tidier. Some anger is information. Some anger is proof that a part of you understands you were harmed.”
You stared at her.
“And maybe someday forgiveness means something to you,” she said. “Maybe it doesn’t. Either way, it’s not tonight’s assignment.”
“What is tonight’s assignment?”
“Breathing. Water. Maybe sitting with your head on my shoulder until one of us loses feeling in an arm.”
“That’s very medical.”
“I’m a doctor. I like measurable outcomes.”
You leaned into her again, the laugh fading into a long, shaking exhale.
“I thought this room would make me feel closer to God,” you said.
“Did it?”
You thought about lying, but Emery deserved better.
“No.”
“What did it make you feel?”
“Angry. Small. Like I was fifteen again.”
Emery’s hand moved slowly up and down your back.
“And now?”
You listened to yourself for a moment.
Your heart still hurt. Your body still felt wrung out. The old fear hadn’t vanished. No miracle had happened. No divine voice had softened the cross or rewritten your childhood.
But your breathing was steadier.
Your hands had stopped shaking.
You were warm against Emery’s side.
“Still angry,” you said. “But less alone.”
Emery kissed your hair.
“Good.”
You closed your eyes.
The chapel was still too small for everything you brought into it. Too small for the shooting. Too small for the children. Too small for the parents. Too small for the God you wanted and resented and feared and missed.
But it was big enough for this.
Two women in wrinkled scrubs.
Two exhausted doctors who had spent the day trying to keep death from taking more than it already had.
A cross on the wall.
A Star of David at Emery’s throat.
Your grief.
Her hand.
Your fear.
Her answer.
You did not know what salvation meant anymore.
You did not know if you could pray without tasting old shame.
You did not know how long it would take to stop hearing hell in the quiet moments after joy.
But you knew Emery’s arm around you was real.
You knew the love in her voice had not demanded you become painless first.
You knew that when you had offered yourself to fire, she had refused to let love be another altar where you burned.
For tonight, that was enough.
You let yourself rest against her.
After a long silence, Emery murmured, “For what it’s worth, I don’t think the divine, if there is one, is nearly as cruel as people like to be on its behalf.”
Your eyes opened.
You turned the words over carefully.
“They’d call that blasphemy where I come from.”
“I figured.”
“You said it anyway.”
“Yes.”
“Why?”
Emery looked down at you, her face open in the dim chapel light.
“Because I love you more than I’m afraid of being wrong.”
Your chest ached.
You reached for her hand again, and she gave it to you immediately.
The chapel stayed silent.
This time, the silence did not feel like abandonment.
It felt like space.
And in that space, with Emery beside you, you let yourself imagine something you had once thought impossible.
Not certainty.
Not instant healing.
Not a faith scrubbed clean of all its wounds.
Just a life.
A life where love did not have to apologize for existing.
A life where your body was not a sin.
A life where joy could be trusted slowly.
A life where you could be angry in a chapel and still be held.
A life with Emery Walsh, who wore her Star of David against her chest, argued with God like family, and loved you without asking you to burn.
You lifted her hand and pressed your lips to her knuckles.
Emery’s breath caught.
It was the smallest kind of vow.
Not forever, not yet, not spoken in a way either of you were ready to define.
But real.
“I want that,” you whispered.
“What?”
You looked at her through the last of your tears.
“A life with you.”
Emery’s face softened until it hurt to look at.
“Then we’ll start there,” she said.
You nodded.
Outside the chapel, PTMC kept breathing through its wounds.
Inside, you stayed exactly where you were.
Not healed.
Not certain.
Not free of every old fear.
But loved.
And for the first time all night, that felt like something holy.
