As I was standing at the intersection, I noticed him already on the other side acting a little strange, but I didn't think much of it. To be honest, it's not uncommon to see drunks or strange people in my area, but usually they're in their own headspace and don't notice anything around them. Anyway, as I crossed the street, I became a little uneasy because he had been watching me closely. He even started walking in the same direction I go. I drew myself to my full height, and balled my fists just in case and to somehow signal him "don't fuck with me". When I almost passed him, he turned to me and asked for money, I simply said, "No, sorry I don't have any on me". He got uncomfortably close to me, so I tried to walk around him, but he tried to grab me instead, and even managed for a second. I immediately slapped his hand away and told him in a firm voice to leave me alone, but he still didn't really move away. I pretty much just speed walked past him (he was kinda slow because he was so drunk), and he started chasing me (luckily slowly) and yelling at me while I walked home quickly. This went on for a few minutes, I think.

I pretty much started crying when I was sure I was out of danger.

At home my gf, and others were waiting for me, so I was immediately taking care of and cheered up. It's been hours, but I still feel like crying again.

I'm glad I wasn't shocked and reacted, but it was still pretty scary.

With all the stress I'm currently experiencing in all sorts of areas of life, this was like the horrible cherry on top.
