Meet the cast of World Infested!
Lauren - The main character, she/her. A kind girl who’s just trying to live her life in this parasite-infested world.
Samuel - Lauren’s little brother, he/him. Tends to get into trouble a lot… Lauren and Nexus practically have to babysit him. Thinks he can become immune to sentient parasitic mushroom (SPM) poison.
Nexus - The intelligent friend, he/they. He’s a doctor who assists in finding a way to eradicate the SPMs, despite the fact that they’ve already taken over the planet.
Allister - Lauren’s partner, any pronouns. Secretly an SPM. They killed Leo’s abusive brother and used his body to pose as a human. Sometimes gets in trouble along with Sam.
Leo - Allister’s long lost friend, he/they. He’s never met the rest of the cast (other than Alli and Casey, of course). Has a positive and encouraged personality. Was lost in the middle of nowhere with Casey for a year until he found Alli, who killed Casey.
Casey - Leo’s brother, he/him. Very cold hearted and tends to be aggressive and abusive. Fortunately, he’s dead, but for the sake of the q&a I’ll allow him to answer questions.
