actually Darth Vader killed those kids. he also killed Anakin, from a certain point of view

just ‘cause he changed his name doesn’t mean he’s a different person, he was the same dude under different circumstances. anakin’s life prior to being darth vader was not destroyed by an invading darth vader, it was darth vader’s backstory.

Gotta admit, this kind of point of view ruins the Skywalker arc throughout the first six movies. Of course Anakin died once he became Darth Vader, it was the death of a soul. To downplay the fact that he had been groomed from childhood by the baddest of the bad SITH LORD who literally tricked and blinded the entire Jedi council, is simply bad analysis on your part honestly. Ol' Palps killed Anakin. He killed his soul. Luke brought him back. He was once more a slave, but Luke set him free. That's the plot of star wars. Love overcomes the bondage of hate.
