Hear me out:

I thought I had developed social anxiety, but it turns out I just needed to go to FLOW's concert alone and just end up being in a group of people who yap as much as me about the same stuff, NOT in a group of people(work) who will talk shit about me behind my back OR talk shit about each other to me. It's amazing what being around people who DON'T talk shit about each other does!

Sometimes, the Eurovision final will land on may 17th - Norway's Constitution Day and every time it does it feels like the stars are aligned or something, because that means I'll get to dress up in my VERY FINEST GARMENTS while watching the 17th of May news broadcast and see the royal family greet the children's parade from the castle, go into town, watch my kids in the parade, hear the mayor's speech, sing the national anthem in unison with the entire village, go to the school gym hall, eat cake, hot dogs and ice cream, listen to the schoolkids' speech, watch my kids sing the national anthem again in the school choir(and film while crying), watch the kids play organized games, go home, have a GLORIOUS dinner with family, have dessert, rest a little bit and THEN change into comfortable FINE GARMENTS and watch the Eurovision final with my family while eating pizza and snacks.

First I get a Crohn's flare-up. Then I get burnt out from workplace bullying. Then I get the worst flu I've had in a decade ON TOP OF a regular cold. And now I have conjunctivitis and possibly pollen allergies. All in the last two months. Oh, and ADHD(under assessment) and possibly some Hypermobile Ehler-Danlos thing going on(under assessment for that, too cause my joints don't want to stay in their sockets). All this to go with my congenital Arthrogryposis.

Nothing like going to a meeting with your boss during your sick leave that's due to a co-worker meticulously bullying you to the point that you get a horrific flare up of your chronic illness due to stress and then at the meeting your boss just talks about how she doesn't want you coming back because your sick leave is so hard on your bully coworker because now she has to *reads notes* WORK.

So my Japanese husband's name is Sunao, which means "honest" in Japanese. It is also used in sentences - and my life's purpose is now to find the perfect timing to start singing the first line of the Sailor Moon theme, which translates to "Forgive me for not being honest" but CAN also be a really funny/annoying way to say "Well sorry I'm not YOU" to my husband as a hilarious comeback. It's SO NICHE and SO DORKY, he will love it💃🏼
