I did it! I made the side blog! (in reference to this post).

I'll try to tag what I can, but the game has also been out for years at this point, so... (i'm not going to main tag every post i make, mostly cause i dont wanna clutter the main bg3 tag)

Alright, here are the rules with this run:

Long rests are to be avoided at all costs, and many decisions will be made with this premise in mind

Leliel will fall in love with someone (and it will be Karlach I am thinking ahead for some ANGST)

No save scumming (I'm playing balanced but if I'm liveblogging this I wanna not be that person that succeeds everything. For funsies.) This rule will be ignored at points for the sake of the run (like skipping that one phase of Ketheric's boss fight).

No mods that affect gameplay (the exception is a mod that let me skip the tutorial because I've played the tutorial enough). Cosmetic mods are free game tho (mod list below the cut).

Next, I can only assume that you had a plan when you started going around the structures rather than clearing the rubble with the smokepowder bomb I know you have. Just as I can only assume that you weren’t expecting to get jumped by reanimated armor.

Now, what I can’t figure out is that when going around didn’t work, you decided to go further into this ancient forge. I know you have a tight schedule in your head, but at least let the rest of us in on it! 

You look before you leap a lot. And don’t get me wrong, I do like that about you; but between the pit of mimics and a landing full of fire mephits, I think it might do you some good to think about what might happen when your feet hit the ground. Though, I should apologize for killing all those mephits while everyone was still in the range of their death explosions.

I got that mithral ore for you, by the way! Once the dust had settled and I saw it, figured that that’s what you wanted.
