Panel 1
Setting - Gustopher's Home.
Gustopher is holding a book that has a picture of a pig on it with a spider on their head. The book is titled Charlie's Website. It's the charming tale of a spider that builds a website in order to save his pig friend from being slaughtered. Critics gave it an average of two out of five stars. Gustopher looks determined as he looks at the book.
Gustopher: I need to read an hour a day to finish my assigned reading before school starts. I can do this.
Mewbert stares at Gustopher with mild interest. She is a fan of hunting spiders.
Panel 2
Gustopher sits on a large bean bag that has duct tape applied on two spots. Mewbert is stretched out on Gustopher's left side. Gustopher is staring blankly at the book. It's not really the type of thing he's interested in but he only has to read for any hour. Mewbert enjoys the part of the book where people talk about eating the pig.
Panel 3
Mewbert has now moved behind Gustopher's head. Gustopher has now taken his eyes away from the book and is staring at the ceiling. How long has it been? Fifteen minutes? Half an hour? Surely he must almost be done. Mewbert has some criticism about the book. There's a lot of talk about eating pigs without any actual eating of pigs.
Panel 4
Mewbert has moved over the Gustopher's left side and Gustopher calls out to his dad.
Gustopher: DAD! Has it been an hour?
August: It's been three minutes.
That can't be true. That's impossible!
Gustopher: THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!
Mewbert also thinks it's impossible that no pigs have been eaten. She gives the book one out of five stars.
