Dogs + pokemon = Perfection

YES people act as if service dogs are going to cure them or something, or its the cool way to treat depression/anxiety. It ain't. It's a LAST RESORT lmfao

I think the hardest thing about training a service dog is not comparing too much to other peoples dogs. We have these dogs who we rely on, and who are amazing and good- but we keep looking at every little thing and comparing to clips we see others posting.  Sure that dog may have perfect 100% focus- but how long did they work on getting that 20-second clip?  Wow, that dog responded so fast to their cue- but how far into a training session were they? You never see the off days. You don’t see them when they get spooked by a loud noise and startle for a few seconds, when they don’t want to listen at home, or when they have a coughing fit in a store.  There are so many puppies who are 6 months old, going to stores every day, doing alerts and tasks, on and on. Or people who got a 3-year-old dog two months ago and they’re already doing PA and tasking and doing great. But you don’t see the drama and nonsense that goes on.  Dogs are dogs, they’ll always be dogs. They have off days, they take forever to train. And it’s silly to beat ourselves into the ground just because our dogs aren’t at the same level of these picture-perfect moments we see online.

Lil word for all you kids out there; if someone blocks you do not fucking hunt them. “Oh they blocked me and I don’t know why I guess I’ll make a new account and ask them” NO!! Do Not make a new account to harass someone or even ask politely why they cut contact with you. They have thier reasons. If they change their mind they will contact you first. Do not!!!! Go looking for them!!!!!! On other websites either!!!!!!!! Don’t chase after people who want nothing to do with you!!!!!!!!! Respect thier their decision and Leave them alone!!!!!!!!!!!! And for the love of God, absolutely DO NOT ASK A FRIEND TO STALK THEM FOR YOU LIKE JESUS CHRIST?????? I can’t believe people actually do that, but I know they do I know because I’ve been asked in the past myself. Fuck off. If you do this then no wonder people dont wanna talk to you.

Additionally, I cant fucking believe I have to say this but ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY NEVER POSE AS SOMEONE ELSE TO TRY AND REGAIN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WHO CUT YOU OFF. FOR FUCKS SAKE THAT’S FUCKED UP AND FRAUD. Not only is it creepy but if you are willing to go that far just to contact someone then that’s fucking terrifying. If someone cuts you off, they don’t owe you a fucking explanation. They don’t owe you shit. They owe you nothing but you fucking owe them respect and privacy. If someone cuts you off you learn from it and you move the fuck on instead of acting like some entitled child taking a tantrum at not getting your way. Fuck off.

I was one of those people. My ex blocked me last year and I tried talking him on any platform I could find and asked people to tell me what he was doing on social media. I was FUCKING INSANE. It was NOT okay for me to do that. I eventually realized how fucking gross and stupid it was that I was doing that. So I stopped. And honestly? I felt BETTER. I didn't get to know about his life, and it helped me move on. It wasn't good for me to keep watching his life, it was holding me back from moving on. Now I'm over him and we are close friends, a year later. Never EVER do what I did to someone who BLOCKED YOU. It makes you an awful person. They blocked you for a REASON. Move the fuck on. Maybe if you do, you'll be able to fix your issues like I did! You're just torturing yourself and that person when you do that. Just fucking stop, stop stalking their social media, stop asking people to watch their profiles or talk to them, just fucking stop. I was INSANE for doing it for MONTHS. This is kinda a message for "past me" but still, listen to me and OP.
