My sister and I decided to make Valentine's Day cards back in 2019. We talked about how as adults we miss getting Valentine's Day cards like we got as kids in elementary school so we wanted to recreate that same feeling that year.

I created this one afternoon for fun - it was a nickname a former friend of mine created for me.

My attempt at the Lady Gaga x Adobe "Rain On Me" inspired poster I put together for the Lady Gaga x Adobe contest in 2020. I used Adobe Illustrator to adjust some of the graphics and Adobe Photoshop for the rest!

This logo was created for an Instagram account for The Playing Card Museum. The logo has heavy Art Deco influence to fit with the Ace imagery. There are two alternate logos: the first logo is a simple text based logo. It features the acronym PCM in the centre with the full name around in a circle. The second logo is more graphics based and is featured as a banner here. This graphic logo has many detailed shapes to form and create the overall Ace shape. 

Logo for The Rose Hop Shop. A hidden bunny was placed in the rose logo to incorporate the “hop” from the store name. This logo was created using Adobe Illustrator.

A group project I worked on was to create a magazine. The magazine we chose to create was a travel magazine called “Checkpoint”. This PDF consists of pages I created: magazine cover, table of contents and masthead, single page article, and inside back cover full page advertisement. An interactive PDF of the magazine was also required and created using Adobe InDesign.

Short video created to be posted on an Ontario tourism website created for an assignment. Appropriate titles and captions were added to inform viewers of the scenery. Created in iMovie with original footage.

Manuka honey package redesign mockup. This honey packaging was developed to be recycled and reusable. The main jar was made of glass to be recycled, the cork stopper and wooden honey dipper is biodegradable. The cork material was chosen to that the honey does not dry out and the incorporated honey dipper provides a more accurate measurement of honey as the dipper portions 1 tablespoon of honey. For promotion, a transit system poster was the chosen form of traditional advertising and a social media page promoting the product and its uses was used as the new media advertisement method. A point of purchase display was also created to demonstrate how the product would appear in store. 

A nomination page for the 2019 election that was shared through digital means (email, corporate website) detailing the nominee’s portrait, biography, and a list of 15 individuals who support them. This was created using Microsoft Publisher and incorporating a banner image and variations of the corporate colours. Private information and corporate logo has been removed for privacy reasons.

Sticker design was part of an assignment. This was output using a Roland SOLJET that printed and cut the decals. This design required multiple pieces that would form a unique completed piece or theme. A required element was to include cuts within a decal, so I chose to do rounded ram’s horns, a coin, and the Chinese character for fortune. 

Campaign pieces for water conservation and water pollution. The multi-media campaign included a business card size information card (black and white only), an 8x10″ poster (printed with black and a spot colour), and a MailChimp email blast. 

A children’s book cover for a school assignment. Everyone was given two words that had to be included into the title. The two words provided to me were “little” and “brave”. Some additional requirements were graphic related: it must include a pattern, gradient, typographic elements.

Branding project for a mock antique store in the Corktown neighbourhood of Toronto. Corky Antiques was developed with some Art Deco influence and geometric modernity. A logo, magazine advertisement, mock storefront, and two web banners was required.

Logo design for Lissy Lash. This eyelash extension business required pink as main colour and with a silver accent border. A circle was chosen because this business’ form of social media is Instagram, which uses a circle display picture. Eyelashes were added to the “h” of the word “lash” as an accent. The final touch the client requested was to include a heart. The heart was added as part of the “i”. 

Logo for Structure Salon and Spa rebranding. A hidden face was placed in the “S” logo to appeal to the business’ target market. A separate S logo was created to develop an identity without requiring accompanying text. This can be used for advertising purposes, such as stickers or a stamp for loyalty cards.
