from my perspective, a lot has happened recently that has shifted the tides in ours and valko's favor (shoutout to @/cairoblair for keeping us all informed!). this solo banner getting shadowdropped doesn't necessarily negate that. i am still optimistic that we will get him back, even if i do have moments where that optimism falters. i went into this boycott not expecting to hear any news about valko for at least a few months, and given that it's been 33 days since he got cancelled, so far infold is proving me right.

i do suspect that someone in infold's leadership is banking on the assumption that reruns have not been doing well lately and new content might do better. it is a stupid assumption, if you ask me. but it's alright, because we will simply have to prove to them that new content will not do any better until they address the missing wolf in the room.

i think to a certain extent people who are committed to the fight to get our wolf back should brace for the possibility that it will be a while longer before we hear anything official about infold on that front. and, i simultaneously think that this is a fight that you don't have to commit to. if at any point you get tired of this and you don't feel like fighting anymore, or you decide to play a game you enjoy more or that's made by a company you feel is more respectful of your time, you're allowed to do that. you're allowed to take a break from the fight to recharge and feel however you need to feel, and you're allowed to walk away from it entirely. ultimately you have to do what's best for yourself.
