I started with the fantasy themed leafy divider that I used at the top here. As usual, I added a bit of color with some green scrapbooking paper (the same paper I used to start the month). I also used three pieces of fantasy themed washi tape to add more fantasy elements to it and to match the divider. I finished things off with a black moon sticker and some black and white botanical stickers to match the black and white in the spread.

I added a bit of kraft paper behind my floral scrapbooking paper to match the rest of the spread.

I am currently drowning in all of these assignments but spreads like this keep me on track!

17 October 2020 | The days when I’m happy about having carpet are few and far between, but today is one of them. Currently sprawled out with too many books open working on the first bit of my Maximus paper. Something that made me even more excited to receive the edition of Disputations with Pyrrhus pictured here is that it was packaged and shipped by one of the hieromonks of the monastery that published the English translation. A text written by a monastic distributed by a monastic—how very fitting. 

the weather is cold and the sky is moody (winter is here, and she’s making it known) so i’m wrapped in sweaters and socks and wool and kept company by candles and tea (buttercream chai, extra steeped & extra spicy) and the not-so-gentle roar of the furnace. my handwriting is getting sloppier by the minute, loose and looping and familiar—
