First Meetings & Bad Music ♫⋆｡♪ ₊˚♬ ﾟ. AKA My first writings of Darcy & Beck.

“What the fuck are you listening to?” Those are the first words she says to her. Darcy takes down her headphones, staring up from the bench she's situated herself comfortably upon in the park. It's a little spot you have to walk to, a clearing in the trees where a little seat sits in the middle of the grass beside a fire pit. The sun beats down from above, making the person hard to spot at first. Her eyes adjust, used to the shadow of herself in the grass she's been staring at below. It’s a boy… no. Short hair. Curvier. SnapBack on, hand in cargo shorts. A few woven bracelets around the wrist, a sideways posture.  Nah. Not a boy. Just a weird ass masc lesbian.  “Conservative Military Image.” Darcy coldly responds. Rude of this girl to start off like that. She expects to get told she’s disturbing her peace even though she specifically sat here to be alone. “Is that punk or something?” The girl shoots back. There’s a sass in her tone, kinda pretentious. Darcy's eyes begin to narrow.  “Yeah. Hardcore. My friend Ronnie got me into them.” Her brain drifts for a moment to Ronnie. He's a close friend. They met over a wild high school relationship with the same girl, where he came out of nowhere as her boyfriend and she was suddenly no longer gay and trying to get with Darcy. It's a crust punk riddled angsty tale, filled with the smell of BO and trips to the beach with PBR’s, and the insanity of one girl that made them friends. A photo of Ronnie hanging in the rafters at a CMI show and a cover of Yard Hard from one of his friends got Darcy into them.  The other girl shifts awkwardly. Relaxes a little, but still tense and posturing. “Oh. Cool. I just heard it and it sounded like good workout music. It’s cool.”  Darcy's lifting an eyebrow now. Alrighty then. Weird little masc harassing her. Whatever man.  “Yeah. They’re good.”
