hoffman is literally the funniest saw villain because he’s so dumb. he just barrels into the crime scene and stands there pouting seductively the whole time and blinks really slowly at people and maybe says a couple of gruff words if you really press him. and then he goes back into his grubby little villain lair and does exactly the same thing. his face barely moves and his voice never changes tone. he is objectively bad at his job as a detective and honestly he’s not that good at being jigsaw either. like what if he didn’t even mean to kill kerry he just set up the trap wrong and then rolled with it
