“On a scale of one to ten? Probably a twenty two.”

Sawyer rolled his eyes lightheartedly. “Yeah, well the old book smell was getting to me and I figured why not visit my kid sister while I’m out,” he joked.

Laurel shot a hair tie at his face. “I guess I can forgive you for being out for so long then,” she replied with a slight smirk. “Well, on second thought, that depends on what you want to do.”

Josie could feel herself growing flustered and she hated it. She didn’t blush. Never. Who did Laurel think she was, complimenting her and then asking for a dance? “Well that’s tough, ‘cause I don’t dance. Next request.”

“How about tonight you do,” Laurel replied with a small smile, holding out her hand for Josie to grab. “Come on, Josie, don’t leave me hangin’ here.”

“Oh thank god,” Kendall said when she saw the underwear. “Yup, those are mine. Thank you.” She snatched the underwear from Laurel and put them in her pocket. “I’m gonna spend so much time washing these.”

“Do you think we can get away with going out the door than the window?” Laurel asked.

“Oof, you’re right.” April frowned. “I guess I’m just gonna have to drink a lot of the stuff so I can see if it’s spiked.”

“I’m pretty sure you’d just taste it,” Laurel replied.

“Thanks.” Josie gave the other girl a once-over, narrowing her eyes, “What’d’ya want, Parks?”

“A dance will suffice really,” Laurel replied with a small smile.

“Thanks, I love the pants.” April kicked out one leg to show off. “Please, continue to stroke my ego. Tell me my hair is shiny and beautiful.” She batted her eyelashes slightly and smirked at Laurel. “You should spike it yourself. Ensure the fun, make sure it doesn’t suck.”

“Yeah, but if I spike it and someone else already spiked it, it’s going to taste absolutely disgusting. Like some lame ass third year wanted to try alochol for the first time and mixed a shit ton of cheap ass vodka’s together thinking they’d be cool.”

“Yeah, okay, I was kind of desperate. He seemed like a good option at the time.” Kendall frowned as she looked in the messy nightstand. “Ew, I found his sock.”

Laurel spotted some girl panties and gasped. “Oh! I think I found them. She lifted them up for Kendall to look. “And if they’re not yours, I don’t even want to think about who’s they are.”

“It totally is. You look great.” April nodded. She looked at her glass of eggnog with a frown. “I don’t know. Mine doesn’t taste boozy, but I got it about fifteen minutes ago.”

“And you look amazing, as always,” Laurel replied. “But I shouldn’t boast your ego too much.” Laurel smirked slightly. “I should go check now, because if it isn’t this gala is going to be so lame.”

“I was in a rush. And you know I only wear them, like, two out of five times. I didn’t see them immediately and just assumed I hadn’t even worn them on that day.” Ken shrugged as she began to look through the drawers of the nightstand.

Laurel looked underneath the bed. “And you had slept with him,” Laurel questioned. “Underneath here is a mess.”
