BROAD frame pacing away from her, boot clad feet KICKING sand lazily over what MAY HAVE BEEN an arm once.

❝I won't be crying over fast food,❞ he breathes in a PANTHERINE DRAWL. BLEACHED head turning slightly to throw the SHARP CUT of his profile at her, moon glow GILDING his cheekbones silver.

DAVID HAD AN UNCANNY KNACK FOR BEING ABLE TO COMMAND A ROOM AND SNEAK UP ON YOU AT THE SAME TIME. in the moments where star was lost in thought, that's when he appeared, living in his effervescent way between revelation and sensation. she stood by what she'd said; she also folded into him completely, breath hitched and half-dead heart fluttering when his cheek scratched hers.

by the time she'd shifted her limbs to run her fingers over the bone-grip on her shoulder, they were already gone. she looked away; the dial turned again. a warm-wanted feeling pooled in her gut, and she forgot about the music.

          ... well. kind of.

          " YOU ALWAYS SAY THAT. HE DOES FINE, " star raised her eyebrows, but she smiled too. it was warm and bright, and maybe a little bit all for him if you squinted just right. then she got a little sharper ── it bled into a grin. " but you know, i've been practicing too. maybe i'll even let you hear it sometime, if you stop being such a bitch? "

the threat was completely hollow, but it was said in earnest. playful-like. a quiet moment passed like that with her big-ocean eyes on him; then she unfurled again. star licked her lips, just a little, and tried to be nonchalant about it. " so ... have you thought at all about when you want to play again? "

❝Like calls to like, princess.❞ The phrase is TOSSED lazily within a draconic PLUME of smoke. Allowing the silence to SETTLE between them for a single CRACKLING inhale before his CRYSTALLINE gaze flickers over the length of her. ALMOST A CARESS, one he emphasizes with the BRUSH of his mind against her own. NOT PRYING, just REMINDING of the possibility.

❝You know I'll listen any time you ask,❞ his DEVILISHLY HANDSOME head tilts at her, SMIRK curling the corners of his mouth. HE WANTS HER TO STICK BETWEEN HIS TEETH. DEVOURED. ADORED. His tongue flicks against the paper of the CIGARETTE whilst looking for something to do, CONTEMPLATING before he SHRUGS a BROAD shoulder at her.

The smell of fresh blood filled her nose, Star's gums beginning that dull ache, begging to let her fangs drop, her hands white-knuckling the peeled paint metal railing. It felt like a test, how far could she really go before she simply jumped down to the sand below and made her first meal a drunken surfer?

Even as David leans closer, his body pressing firmly against her own, Star can only focus on how easy it would be to go after the man below; he wouldn't even notice her. He wouldn't even be able to fight back-

That was why the blond told her to meet him here. This isn't their usual meeting place to head back to the ironworks; he had a full plan to get to her, and to finally get his way. David's voice, right at her ear, only sends a chill down her spine, that damned petname he had taken to calling her only adding to the sensation. "No," she mutters the word, before finding her full voice to yell out, just as the surfer was mere yards from his drained girlfriend. "She went the other way! Down by the Big Dipper on the boardwalk!" Star called down, only getting a large arm wave of thanks, before he began to trek through the sand away from the scene.

❝How long are you gonna keep running from it?❞ His voice is that HUSHED drawl he reserves just for her, still CURLED over her figure with his own. PANTHERINE. TEMPTATION wrapped in leather and given a FACE TOO PRETTY.

❝Running from me?❞ A calloused hand drifts from the railing to FLIRT at her hip, drifting along her waist before settling a flat palm over her sternum. GENTLY tugging her further into the BROAD line of his body.

❝You can't run forever, Star.❞ The phrase is a WARM HUM against her, IDLE and distracted where his chest RISES and FALLS. BREATHING HER IN AGAIN. Unconsciously pressing her closer into his chest with the exhale, POSSESSIVE.

❝And guess who's still gonna be there to catch you when you fall?❞ A question WARMED and DEADLY with the sound of his SMILE curling the edges of it.

❝Dinner,❞ he gestures with a PANTHERINE casualness at the CRUMPLED FORM on the sand. There's pieces SCATTERED about where pieces simply SHOULD NOT BE, crystalline gaze flickering over the DOLL LIKE form beside him.

The brunette pauses at the goad. Or what sounds like one from a smirking mouth. “Why are you always talking to me in riddles, man?” A soft snort of bemusement follows his own quip. “I don’t know if you’re guarding a bridge or planning to steal my firstborn.” — Michael puffs a warm breath as David slips past once more with a harsh snap of his fingers, only to drag two along the edge of his jaw.

More fun—He turns a blue gaze on a glacier pair. “Time out…Is being vague and unsettling your special interest, or is it just me?”  

He’s ALMOST there, gents.

The smile flickers with the QUESTION, slipping into something WARM and DARK and OBSCENE. More suited to be FLASHED in a moment of INTIMACY than HUDSON'S BLUFF accompanied by a plume of CIG SMOKE.

❝Why not both?❞ BLEACHED head tilts at the eldest Emerson, leather clad hand flicking the CIGARETTE off the edge of the cliff. PANTHERINE in the shift of his BROAD figure closer to Michael's.
