“Would you kill for me?” (Soriku for the variety)
It had been a lazy afternoon for the both of them, comic books scattered along the bed, accompanied by junk food wrappers and the afternoon sun peaking in through the small slit in the curtains.
Sora sat up as he placed his fingers in between the pages to hold his place. He looked at Riku who was intensely reading his own comic book. He looked up at Sora when he realized he was being watched and gave him his full attention.
“Would you kill for me?” Sora blurted out, not waiting for Riku to inquire what it was he wanted to ask.
Sitting up himself, Riku gave Sora a confused look, “What brought this on?” he asked.
Sora licked his lips as he looked down at the comic he had been reading, “In this comic, the main character said they’d die for their partner and it got me thinking, while dying for someone is considered ultimately romantic, because you’re sacrificing your life for that person, wouldn’t killing for that person also be considered romantic?” he asked.
Riku watched as Sora worried his lip and he couldn’t help but laugh, “I think so, yeah. I feel like if you’d go to the ends of the earth for someone, it means you’d do anything, for them. Dying or killing. It wouldn’t matter,” he nodded.
Sora’s eyes lit up and threw himself at Riku, kissing him hard and quick, pulling away before Riku was able to return the kiss, “So does that mean you’d kill for me?” he asked.
Caressing the side of Sora’s face, tucking a piece of brown hair behind his ear, which stubbornly just fell back into it’s original piece, “Yeah, I would. I’d kill Ifrit for you,”
