don’t get me started on the parallels that cafta created between steve and bucky. how they both fell/plunged to their deaths. how their identities were reformed by time. how they woke up and were legends instead of people. how they both “shaped history” with their “sacrifices”. how shield used captain america as much as hydra used the winter soldier. how they didn’t start to re-become themselves until the found each other.
