How about a Teen! Batbro Reader that has kleptomaniac problems? Stealing things from jewelry stores, etc. (Prefering shiny things!) The Batfamily could find out one day by seeing something glimmering in his closet or under his bed. Eventually finding his stash of stolen shiny goods. Though he wouldn't fully let them take his treasures away, he didn't fully see the wrong.
(Up to you if he's aware of them being vigilantes or not. Hope you have fun with it, I love your writings! ^^)
Thank you anon, I will have fun with it. I deviated a bit from it after doing some research on kleptomania, but I think it turned out good.
Summary: (Y/N) has kleptomaniac problems. The family finds out.
Warnings: kleptomania, I did research but could always be wrong, the fam is upset with (Y/N), implicated stealing, but nothing is explicitly written.
Bruce sipped his morning coffee, reading over the newspaper. He woke up later than usual, since it's a Saturday. A little guilty pleasure of sleeping in on the weekends. Sue him. He didn't look up when Tim walked in, going for the coffee pot.
"Good morning Tim." Bruce said, flipping the page.
"Morning," Tim mumbled, lifting his cup of coffee up to his lips. "Anything interesting in the paper?"
"No. Just the usual."
Tim nodded, sipping his coffee, sitting down next to Bruce. "Is (Y/N) around? I didn't see him this morning."
"He left with Alfred. Said something about going to pick up a packet he ordered. Some books I think."
"Good. Because I wanted to talk to you about him."
Bruce put the paper down, turning to look at his son. "What about (Y/N)? Did something happen between you boys?"
"It's... Well, it's a bit complicated than that. It's more of a suspicion."
Bruce tilted his head. A suspicion?
"A suspicion?" He voiced his thoughts and Tim nodded.
"When I was walking by his room yesterday to return a book I borrowed from him, I noticed something... Shiny. He got jumpy at and I was quickly ushered out of the room and the door got slammed in my face."
Bruce raised his brow. This is not like (Y/N). He is normally more... Chill. Never jumpy. Jumpy means he is hiding something. Or something is happening in his home that Bruce is not aware of.
"Has he been different as of late in general? I know that I haven't been around much due to multiple factors."
"It's not just me who thinks so too. Jason does too. Dick is thinking about (Y/N)'s behavior. And Damian? Well, he is staying out of for now. But we also noticed something else."
Bruce raised his brow. "And that is?"
"Sometimes, our things would go missing. For example my empty USB. I know I had it in my drawer, but then all of a sudden, when I went looking for it, it wasn't there. So I thought I misplaced it. I asked (Y/N) since he was the last one in the room before it went missing."
Bruce nodded, urging Tim to go on. "After 2 days, it was back in my drawer. And I know I looked at that drawer so many time it couldn't be me."
"Did you ask (Y/N) about it?" Bruce finished his coffee.
"I did. He said he didn't know what happened, but that he didn't touch the drawer. Just took a shirt he asked me if he could borrow."
"So that settles the matter, no?"
"The same thing happened to Jason, Dick and Damian."
Bruce's brow raised. "Are you two implying that (Y/N) took it and then... Brought it back, but refused to tell you that he took it or borrowed it?"
"Yes. I feel like we need to have an intervention."
"You don't know if it's him."
Tim sighed. "He's a common denominator in all this. And that something shiny and jumpiness, something is going on."
Bruce later talked to Dick, Damian and Jason separately and the stories where similar. Something small, that was theirs went missing after (Y/N) was in the room, then came back a few days later. But that doesn't explain what the shining was. All of the things mentioned aren't shiny by nature. And no way how you put it, they can't exactly shine as Tim has said.
Which leads us a few hours later, where they are all searching (Y/N)'s room.
"Would you look at that?" Jason stood up after crawling under the bed, holding a black pouch in his hand. Everyone stopped and came over to see what was in that pouch.
Jason tipped the pouch upside down and shook it. Well, Bruce didn't expect this. It was fake diamonds Bruce brought home from testing at the Wayne Enterprises. Lucius was testing out a machine that was going to be sold and asked Bruce if we wanted it.
Bruce said yes because it looked like legitimate, real diamonds. And it looked good in his study. They went missing a few days ago, when (Y/N) was supposedly looking for him...
"What the fuck?" Jason muttered.
"Uhm, now we know where those golden, fancy and expensive napkins went." Tim pulled out a bag with the napkins. Those napkins were ordered for some gala Bruce hosted at the Manor. Now, those were special napkins due to the embroideries on them. For the biggest donors alongside other gifts, but the napkins went missing. Now, when they went missing, Bruce nearly lost it, but remained calm, per his Batman persona.
He knew that the delivery men delivered it. Into Alfred's hands first and then Bruce's. So they were in the Manor. But gone the other second. Bruce paid a pretty penny to remake them and then a pretty penny for a quick delivery too.
And although he has money to burn through eternity and beyond, it is a matter of principle.
He didn't connect that (Y/N) took it. Because who wants to think that their child would steal from him and his brothers.
"Why is he even doing this?" Dick muttered, sitting on the edge of (Y/N)'s bed.
"We are about to find out." Damian nodded to towards the door, pointing out (Y/N)'s footsteps in the hall.
(Y/N) came to the room, eyes glued on his phone. He got a shock of his life when he saw everyone in his room. Jason holding the fake diamonds and Tim the fancy napkins.
"Wha-"
Bruce raised his hand, cutting (Y/N) off from responding. "Sit." Bruce pointed to the chair next to (Y/N)'s desk.
"Why did you take this all? I'm pretty sure this is not even all of it." Jason said, putting the fake diamonds into their pouch.
"It's not like I want to!" (Y/N) raised his voice, before taking a breath. "It's an urge... I can't help it."
Damian raised his brow. "You can't control it?"
"Yes, I can't! I feel so awful every time I do it, but I can't stop it! I always return the things after a day or two because I feel so guilty and ashamed!"
Everyone shared a glance before turning back to (Y/N). "Did you steal anything from anyone outside of the family?"
(Y/N) shook his head. "No, I didn't."
Okay. Okay. It can remain in the family.
"But it's not like I took anything that valuable."
Oh.
"It does not matter if it has high monetary value or not. You took something that does not belong to you." Bruce said firmly.
"All of our things meant something to us, regardless of the value." Damian mumbled. "Not to mention, the trust we had in you is broken."
(Y/N) just sighed and Jason closed his eyes for a moment, trying not to snap.
"Don't do that. Don't act nonchalant about this. This is fucking serious."
"I don't even know what to say to you (Y/N)." Dick mumbled, rubbing his face.
"Here's what going to happen." Bruce straightened his back, Batman mode on. "We are going to tear this room apart for the rest of the things you stole. The boys will divide what is theirs. As for you (Y/N), you will get into therapy and will work on those impulses. You will not be allowed to go into anyone's rooms anymore. Including my study."
"Oh co-"
"I am still talking." Bruce said firmly, making (Y/N) get quiet again. "In the real world, theft gets you in trouble. And if this doesn't get addressed, you will end up with criminal convictions. And I won't save you. The Wayne name will not save you. So, to sum up. You are going to therapy and we are setting very, very clear boundaries and rules." Bruce finished saying, watching (Y/N) intently.
"I hope therapy helps." Dick said. "I can't watch this indifference anymore." Dick left the room, steps echoing in the hall.
Bruce and the rest got to business to tearing the room apart for more treasures, all under (Y/N)'s protests, denial and inability to understand why this is so wrong and why everyone's mad.
None of them responded back. Bruce sent Damian, Jason and Tim out with the treasures so they could divide it between them.
"As of now, you are grounded. No going into anyone's rooms and I am going to make sure of it. Secondly, you will be in therapy. Intensive therapy to get this under control. Kleptomania is no laughing matter. Now I'm debating whether to do online classes, because I am worried you will steal something from classmates. But we will discuss that later."
Bruce left and (Y/N) was left alone in the room without his treasures. Not a nice feeling.
Hey everyone, I just finished up all the requests and I'll open soon. Maybe tomorrow or in two days, I don't know, but just so you know. I'll announce the opening in a separate post, so in a day or two, it will be posted. I hope everyone is doing well and hydrating during this heat.
Im so sorry ,in advance, its okey to ignore the request Batfam x teen reader here this scenario ofr head canes if you want:
The teen reader is natural pretty shy and anxious. They have shadow powers. The reader became a vigilante after their parents died. They live in foster care but somehow become friends with the batfam
The teen reader is more intimidating and straight face but in reality they are very meek at timid.
After the Batfam forced out that they’re a new vigilante and tried to find out who they are not completely realizing it’s the teen reader. One day it clicked together that the teen reader is the vigilante after a seeing them at school.
Oh, my poor (Y/N). My baby. Also, I lets pretend like this GIF has any sort of connection to shadows.
Summary: (Y/N) is a shy and anxious person. While having shadow powers. And while being in foster care.
Warnings: (Y/N) living in foster care, but good foster parents, mention of hospitals, but nothing to do with (Y/N), anxious (Y/N), shy (Y/N)
(Y/N) was lucky in a sense. Well, shadow powers and his parents dying is not something most people would consider lucky. At all. But he was lucky in an aspect that he had nice foster parents who genuinely cared. While it didn't help that he was shy and anxious by nature, his shadow powers helped. Considering he often moved like a shadow, his powers were rather fitting. So, he decided to become a vigilante. It forced him out of his comfort zone, so to speak. And what was lucky was his intimidating face. Hiding his timid nature.
Now he was on a rooftop, after another successful attempt at sneaking out, he was out and about, doing his vigilante work. Stopped a few muggings, few overnight bank robberies, who even does that? But over all, it was all a quiet and slow night. Which was nice, in a way.
"If it isn't our favorite shadow." The familiar voice and teasing tone made (Y/N) roll his eyes. Nightwing, cheery and upbeat as usual.
(Y/N) turned around. "Nice to see you too." Nightwing smiled as he approached.
"Where is the rest of the family?"
Nightwing shrugged. "Batman and Robin went to check out something regarding the Black Mask. Red Hood and Red Robin are following a lead on Two Face. I am the only one who was left in charge of the normal patrol. If all goes well, they should join us soon enough if all goes well."
(Y/N) nodded, eyes averted. Thankfully, the mask had white fabric over his eyes hiding it.
"Your patrol going along smoothly?"
"Yeah. Uhm, yeah... Smoothly so far."
Nightwing nodded. "That's good. We all need a smooth patrol every once in a while."
(Y/N) nodded, crossing his arms.
"Well, should we move around? See if we can stop something while we wait for the rest of the bats to join?"
(Y/N) nodded. "Uhm... Sure."
And that's how most nights went. Small talk, either with one of them or all of them, except Robin and Batman, those two weren't very chatty, but over all, that's how it normally went. But (Y/N) noticed something else too, about them. Questions that were probing into his personal life. Were they trying to figure out who he is? It's not like it's weird for Batman to try and figure out who he is, I mean Batman is territorial about his city and it's not like (Y/N) doesn't know that, but it i-
"(Y/N), sweetie? Are you alright? You seem lost in thought. Even deeper than usual." His foster mom, Alicia said, offering him some oatmeal.
"Uhm... I'm fine... Just..."
"It's alright, you don't need to tell me your thought process if you don't want to. Eat up, you need food in you before school."
(Y/N) nodded, giving his foster mom a smile. "Thank you."
"No problem honey."
"Where is Rick?" (Y/N) asked, wondering where his foster dad is.
"Oh, he got a call early this morning about his mother being in the hospital, so he went to see her. He should be back soon, if he doesn't go to work today. I'm not sure."
(Y/N) nodded, slowly eating the oatmeal.
"Your lunch is ready. I made you your favorite and I also put extra clementines in your lunch box, since I know you like them a lot."
(Y/N) smiled at that. "Oh. Thank you."
"No problem honey. Now finish up and get ready to go."
(Y/N) nodded silently, finishing up his bowl, before he went to his room to put on clothes for school, then went down to take his lunch box from his foster mom.
"Have a good day honey." She kissed his cheek before he left, slowly walking to school. He put his earbuds in, started his playlist and slowly made his way to school. The day was warm for a winter day, oddly enough. He took his earbuds out as he approached the school, putting them back into its case.
"There you are."
(Y/N) looked up, seeing his friend, Chris. Chris, as usual, was smiling and his bubbly, socially confident self.
"Hey." (Y/N) said.
"Hey to you too. Although, I'll take more than a hey at this point."
(Y/N) rolled his eyes, making Chris chuckle. "Oh come on you, I don't deserve an eye roll."
"I need to get to my locker." (Y/N) said, walking to his locker to get ready for the school day.
"Yeah, yeah. Always a ray of sunshine."
(Y/N) rolled his eyes again, opening his locker, getting his books out for the day. He didn't bother turning his head around when he heard squeals of girls.
"The Waynes have arrived it seems." Chris just rolled his eyes, crossing his arms. "I still don't know what the fuss is about them."
"Richness. Looks." (Y/N) gave an explanation, closing the locker.
Chris scoffed, watching as (Y/N) closed his locker. "I still don't get it. They are only famous for being rich. Like Kim K for her tape and looks."
(Y/N) didn't respond to the jab of the Waynes, just zipped up his bag. "Anyhow (Y/N), lets go. We have English first."
(Y/N) followed along, wondering over the last few patrols. Questions about him... He didn't like it. He knew that they were trying to figure out who he is. He had to be more careful then. Not reveal too much.
"I think it's (Y/N)." Damian crossed his arms, leaning on the wall near the Batcomputer.
Bruce turned his head to Damian.
"(Y/N)?" Bruce asked, unsure of who that is. Tim frowned in confusion.
"(Y/N)? Why do you think it's (Y/N)?"
Jason perked up from working on his bike and Dick came in with a cup of coffee in his hand.
"I've noticed they share a lot of the same traits. Always seemingly looking at ways to leave, like a way out. He is constantly super vigilant. And he doesn't take any unnecessary risks. There is also a lot of stiffness around him. Jaw clenched, his posture, just stiff as a board. Whenever he speaks, it starts sort of strong and then gets soft. I could honestly go on."
Tim tapped his lips. "Are you sure about this?"
"Of course I'm serious. I wouldn't have said this if I wasn't sure."
"Well," Jason stood up from working on his bike. "How do you suggest we prove that theory of yours?"
Damian scoffed. "Easy. If I say his name on patrol and we watch his reaction, we will be able to tell." Damian pulled up all data on (Y/N) from the school, including his medical records and photograph. "He has diagnosed anxiety. It fits. Tonight, on patrol, I'll do it. Most likely, he will panic and freeze, unsure what to do."
Dick and Jason shared a look. It could work. Or it could backfire. Bruce tilted his head as the thought. He did want to know who that new vigilante was. He was always weary of the vigilantes. Especially ones who are in his city with shadow powers. And despite working with them, loyalties can change. Although, if he goes by Damian's theory, a high school student with diagnosed anxiety and seemingly shy personality... With shadow powers too...
"Test it out tonight then Damian." Bruce concluded. "We will see if it's him and then go on from there."
The night came and patrol finally came. Patrol started and they started, keeping an eye out for (Y/N). Damian was going to drop the bomb casually. Just let it explode between them.
(Y/N) was already on the roof, chilling and taking a break from an hour of patrol.
Damian hopped up on the roof, startling (Y/N). "Jesus, Robin."
Damian didn't chuckle, didn't do anything. After a second, the rest joined and it was time to really see if Damian was right.
"So, (Y/N)... " Damian started casually and reaction from (Y/N) was spot on. Frozen on the spot. Mouth opening, closing, words absolutely failing.
"See father? I was right. It is (Y/N)."
As for (Y/N), he did what he did best. He disappeared into the shadows and simply teleported through them to his home.
"That went well." Jason mumbled under his breath, under his breath, though still caught through helmet.
"He did a smart thing though." Tim chimed in and Dick nodded in an agreement.
No tears, stuttering. Just freezing like a dear in headlights, then dipped.
Bruce merely sighed, not bothering to comment. Well, it clearly showed it wasn't enemy or someone working for his enemies. Just an anxious, shy, teenage boy.

Hi, could you please do a Batfamily x male child reader. The reader is another biological son of Batman and the youngest, being 8 to 10 years old making him younger than Damian. He wants to be like his father when he grows up and he even has his own homemade batsuit (with the help of Alfred of course). He has a kind sweet personality. He is also not allowed in the Batcave without permission and supervision from either Bruce, Alfred, or any of the other adult Batfamily members.
Of course I can. And I kind of need fluff right now, after writing that angst with Ra's. Also, hi everyone. I'm back from exam hell. For now at least. I know it's been a while, but I'm back. After this, only one more request left and then I'll open the requests. I look forward to it and I hope you'll like this.
Summary: (Y/N) wants to Batman when he grows up.
Warnings: fluff, (Y/N) is sweet, everyone loves him.
(Y/N) has truly been this adorable sunshine in the family, being only 8 years old, he has been untouched by the world and Gotham itself. And it has given a Bruce to truly be a better father for all of his children, since (Y/N) was only a baby when he came to the Manor. The entire household adored him. Even Damian, although he would rather cut off his limbs than admit it, but still. It was showed in actions when it came to him, rather than words.
As (Y/N) grew, he grew into a soft and kind child. Maybe a tad shy, but he was just sweet and kind. Bruce never had any problems with him. Maybe sometimes if he was stubborn about wanting chocolate before dinner or when he frowned at the vegetables on his plate, but other than that no problem.
Although his sweet personality became a problem when a garden snake made its way into the Manor and instead of letting Alfred kill the snake, (Y/N) would cry. So what did Alfred do? He took the snake out and let it go on its merry way, all why (Y/N) watched, to make sure the snake was alright.
But most proud moment Bruce could pinpoint of (Y/N) so far, in his little life, was the fact that (Y/N) wanted to be Batman. Bruce was torn. On the one hand? Happy. Elated. Which father wouldn't won't their son to say they want to be like them? But then on the other hand, Bruce seeing a lot of pain, violence, suffering... Not to mention being traumatized. But then again, helping people, giving them hope...
It did not help that Alfred has created a mini suit for (Y/N). That didn't help anyone. Especially not Bruce. But how could Bruce say no to (Y/N)? To his youngest boy?
Dick certainly didn't as he would bring (Y/N) to the Cave often, always carrying him and supervising him, like a responsible big brother would. Jason wasn't really much better anyway. He would have (Y/N) on his lap as he would tinker around his bike, refusing to let him out of his sight. Outright refusing.
The rule was simple. If (Y/N) was in the cave, one of them or more of them are going to be watching. Non negotiable. Bruce would not elaborate when he made the rule. And no one really questioned him or opposed to having to supervise.
Tim would keep him entertained with games on the Batcomputer while he worked and Damian?
Damian would keep an eye out, although more relaxed about it. If he felt (Y/N) was trying to do something a bit... Mischievous, as mischievous as a child of his softness and kindness could be mischievous, Damian would simply turn around and give him a best 'mom' look he could muster and (Y/N) would calm down quickly.
Dick would not let his eyes wonder off, refusing to even let him out of sight for a reason. Jason once lost him for a minute, so, like a responsible big brother, kept him on a kid leash. He was not risking it anymore after Bruce chewed him out as (Y/N) nearly got hurt. So no more risking it.
(Y/N) wasn't a fan of the leash, so he would get grumpy.
But safety first.
Even now as Bruce held (Y/N) in his arms, his strength allowing it as he looked at a new version of (Y/N)'s Batsuit.
"What do you think (Y/N)?"
"It's cool."
Bruce nodded. "Alfred did a great job, didn't he?"
(Y/N) nodded against Bruce's shoulder. "He's the best."
Bruce smiled at that. "He is buddy, he is. Are you hungry?"
(Y/N) nodded again. "Lets go eat then." Bruce mumbled, carrying him up to the elevator up to the ground level, leaving the mini Batsuit in the cave.
Hiii I'm sorry I know your requests are closed but like, if you do write for trans man. Can you please write Ra's al ghul x FTM reader (female to male) where the reader is the one who gave birth to Thalia and then left one day and somehow Ra's hasn't been able to find him and one day he came back after 30+ years apart, and it was only because Thalia called about how rough Ra was to Damian (hes 4-6 years old), also Thalia knew where he was all along just kept it a secret from Ra's, and when he comes back he proceeds to slap the shit out Ra's for being so rough to damian. And if you don't write for trans man reader maybe you could make one based off the 1960's where the male reader is a soldier getting drafted off to Vietnam, and he's the first true lover of Ra's who never came back home to Ra's. Ra's tells this story to maybe a curious little Damian who wonders what those dog tags around his neck are.
Oh, angst is not my specialty, but this oozes angst. Also, this makes me want to write a part 2 with reincarnation... Oof, I'm not okay.
Summary: (Y/N) goes to war and never comes home.
Warnings: Vietnam war, (Y/N) doesn't come back home, Ra's always thinks of him, Damian is curious about his grandpa's dog tags.
Ra's al Ghoul was a cold man. Children had simply out of duty with many women, to keep his line going. Getting those heirs he wanted. Watching his children come and go. Love was not an emotion he felt. He did not feel it after his first wife, his first love was killed. The last time he felt love was before he discovered the Lazarus pit and his life changed. He couldn't go back to the way it was before. His heart died with his first wife.
Which is why Damian was curious about the dog tags around his grandfather's neck. Ra's wasn't one to wear jewelry. He treasured his wedding ring from 600 years ago, from his first wife. Damian knew that much. The ring was in his personal chambers, kept under lock and key. But the dog tags?
He didn't know what it was for. It was odd. And Damian being curious, he wanted to know why. So, he knocked on the door of Ra's study, waiting for the permission to come inside.
"Come in."
Damian opened the door and stepped in. He closed the door behind him as he approached the desk where his grandfather was looking over papers. Ra's looked up, putting the papers down.
"How can I help you Damian?"
"I was wondering about your dog tags grandfather. You wear them all the time... And you don't do anything without a reason."
Ra's tilted his head as he watched Damian, before taking the dog tags off, giving it to Damian.
Damian took them into his hands gently, reading it. He saw the name (Y/N) (L/N). US Army?
"(Y/N) was my lover." Ra's readjusted himself in his chair, looking at Damian. "I considered him the love of my life." Ra's tilted his head, closing his eyes for a moment, remembering the good times.
"Ra's, you worry too much." (Y/N) said as he spent time with Ra's in Ra's office, away from the US for now and away from the tensions of what is happening in Vietnam.
"War is something to worry about, my love. You never know what can cause your country to get involved into a war."
(Y/N) turned to look at Ra's, cupping his face. "I will be fine. So far, the government is having it all under control. They are not saying anything about us going to war."
Ra's wanted to scoff at (Y/N) naivety, but at the same time, people who never went through war can say that. People who were never marked by such violence. But Ra's didn't trust the government. He absolutely did not trust the US government.
"Of course. How about we take a walk through the gardens? Spring just graced them." Ra's offered his arm and (Y/N) took as the two started walking through the vibrant gardens.
"Are you concerned? About possibly being drafted?"
(Y/N) shook his head. "No, since I'm doubtful that US will even get involved into the war itself."
Ra's nodded as they walked. "Of course."
"I still can't believe that this is real. That I can be myself, without fear... I would be arrested and thrown into jail, if we were seen in the US."
"I know. Here, I don't care about sexuality. As long as we are loyal to one another, that is only that should matter to us."
(Y/N) smiled that smile that would make Ra's in the knees. Not that Ra's would ever admit it while he was alive.
"You know, I am still shocked that us meeting in a library. Of all places," (Y/N) teased and Ra's kissed him on the lips, savoring the feeling. He pulled away, hoisting (Y/N) up onto his lap.
"It was raining and I was wearing an expensive suit." Ra's defended himself, smiling a very small smile, but smile none the less.
"Of course you did." (Y/N) said softly. "God forbid your suit gets a single drop of rain on it."
Now they were in (Y/N)'s apartment, where tension was so thick that it could be cut with a knife. Ra's didn't know what to expect. It was a simple, periodic visit to his beloved, while also checking up on the business here in the US.
"I got drafted." (Y/N) said finally, pointing at the letter on the coffee table. "I am going to war Ra's."
Ra's tense up, eyes zeroing in on the letter. He picked it up and read it over and over again, eyes moving over the lines, absorbing every single word.
"I don't want to go... But my father says it is my duty... He fought in World War 2, so him saying that is not odd, but still, it is my life..." (Y/N) started rambling and Ra's looked up. Anxiety was rolling off of him in waves. Absolute waves. Ra's did not blame him. Absolutely did not. War is not something small.
People die in horrible and painful ways and those who return... They are never the same.
"My love..." Ra's interrupted, patting the spot next to him on the red sofa.
(Y/N) sat down, feeling shaky. Ra's immediately took his hand into his.
"I know it is scary, but I know one thing. You will survive this. And once you do, you will never step foot into the US again. I will take you to live with me at Nanda Parbat and you will know no violence. I would protect you with my life. No harm would touch you. I swear it to you," Ra's promised, looking directly into (Y/N)'s eyes.
"I swear it to your Ra's, I will come back. No matter if I have to claw my way out of Vietnam and swim across the oceans, I will do it."
Ra's smiled, hiding his own worries. War is unpredictable. If Vietnamese didn't kill him, it would malaria or some severe tropical sickness. Or sepsis for that matter, if it came from complicated injuries.
Ra's kissed him and (Y/N) kissed back.
"Once he was deployed, he sent me letters and I wrote to him back." Ra's continued the story, Damian listening intently. Ra's looked down at the dog tags that he took back from Damian. "I keep the letters safe, under lock and key. I had them copied so the originals can stay intact..."
Damian stayed silent, seeing his grandfather in a new light.
"He died of malaria... Nearly a year into his deployment... Had it reached a year, he would have come back to the US for leave before going back," Ra's paused, feeling a knot in his throat forming up. He was so close to seeing him in person. So close to touching him again. Kissing him again. Hugging him again... Talking to him again.
"His body was sent back and I managed to get his dog tags." Ra's finished, looking back at Damian. "And that is why I always wear them around my neck."
"You loved him," Damian stated and Ra's nodded. Kids were always so blunt. Direct.
"I loved him. I still do."
Damian nodded, before tilting his head. "Can I see a photo of him?"
Ra's stood up and opened his safe, taking out a photograph of himself and (Y/N). It was taken at Nanda Parbat by Ubu, on (Y/N)'s request. It them two, (Y/N) smiling widely and Ra's with his stoic face. Both wrapped their arms around ones waist.
"He was handsome," Damian said and Ra's allowed himself a small, almost microscopic smile. Damian handed the photo back and Ra's put it into the safe.
"It was a lovely story, grandfather. Thank you for telling me."
Ra's nodded. He never really told anyone the story about (Y/N). Only Ubu knew, only because he was Ra's right hand.
"You should go train Damian."
Damian nodded and stood up. "Yes grandfather." He left in silence, closing the door behind him.
Ra's put his dog tags back around his neck, adjusting them gently.
"Maybe in another life, my love, we will meet each other," Ra's whispered to himself, before lifting the dogtags up and kissing them.
Hello! It's my first time requesting, and I really love your work, like, really, it’s awesome! I hope you don’t mind, but I always have this thought every day. Batfamily with a cute and easy baby that entertains himself with anything, like literally anything.
Like, Batman's shirt? Oh, he’s just staring at it while drooling, Jason’s hand? He grabs it with his tiny hand and counts Jason’s fingers, not counting them but also counting them. His plushie of the Batfamily? He chews and drools at his plushies every day. A trash bag? Oh, he’s playing with it on the couch while gurgling as he sees that the trash bag flies with the air while throwing it.
Our baby is such an easy baby, what can we say. My cutie patootie. Also, lets imagine that this gif shows a human baby.
Summary: (Y/N) can entertain himself easily.
Warning: fluff, mention of trafficking kids, but nothing described, just something that they shut down on patrol, but otherwise fluff
The first time (Y/N) was brought home by Bruce, everyone expected constant noise and just constant attention, but that is normal with babies. There would have to be adjustments. Which again, with babies is normal. They need attention all the time, 24/7. But with (Y/N) it was different. He was a quiet child. Rarely ever cried. Rarely fussed. Always played with his toys.
But sometimes, Bruce would find one of his shirts, the old ones that were just washed and he wanted to use it to go to bed, (Y/N) would be staring at it, just drooling. Bruce always found the sight adorable and would wipe up his son's mouth, gently cooing at him, picking him up in his arms.
Although he didn't like it when (Y/N) would try to put it into his mouth. Bruce would gently remove it from his mouth, shushing the little whines of protest.
"No little one, that does not go into your mouth." Bruce gently pried it away from (Y/N)'s mouth, making the little one whine. "I know, I know, you want it, but can't have it."
Jason was sitting down on the floor in the play area made for (Y/N). The mat was soft and warm as (Y/N) was wiggling around on it, although he paused on Jason's hands. Jason watched in silence as (Y/N) would look, tilt his head and then grab at his fingers. It seemed like he was counting, although he did not know how to count. Just put his finger out and then touch each finger on Jason's hand, one by one.
Then he would just stare at it, almost like he got distracted by something, then would get back to counting. Jason watched the process, enjoying the sight. (Y/N) was such an adorable little baby. Quiet, low maintenance, and just... Little sunshine of the family.
You had a bad day? You just held (Y/N) for some time and all the bad energy and bad thought from the day, went away. Just like a little, mini, portable sunshine. Jason turned his head, hearing the door open. It was Tim, who just woke up from a long nap. Which was a shocker, since Tim doesn't sleep.
"Welcome to the land of the living," Jason teased, making Tim roll his eyes before sitting down next to him, taking (Y/N) into his arms. "Not now Jason."
"Bad day?"
"Bad patrol... Really bad. Trafficking with kids."
Jason just nodded, watching as (Y/N) focused on Tim's shirt.
"It's always bad when kids are involved... You all thought of (Y/N), right?"
Tim nodded. "Yeah. Damian nearly ended one of the traffickers. Dick and Bruce had to hold him back."
Jason let out a hum, gently tickling (Y/N) who squealed at the feeling. "I do not blame him. I would have done the same thing. I can only imagine the GCPD was rough with them. And that once they go to jail, inmates will take care of them."
Tim smiled at (Y/N), who was frowning as he tried to start counting Tim's fingers.
"I swear, this little one always puts a smile on all our faces."
"Agreed." Tim also tickled (Y/N), who in turn let out a loud squeal of happiness.
"Damian and Dick will probably come soon enough to cuddle the little guy. Bruce won't be so far behind." Tim adjusted (Y/N) in his arms who started pouting before reaching for Jason.
"Oh, I have no doubt." Jason took (Y/N), who calmed down as he got back to counting Jason's fingers.
Tim sighed, looking at (Y/N), the little sunshine untouched by the world. Oh, if only they could keep him that way.
Bruce held (Y/N) as he was sitting on the couch, reading the newspaper. But (Y/N) was not happy. He was fussing, whining and Bruce looked up, putting the paper away.
"What's wrong? Hm?" Bruce gently tried to soothe him, standing up to rock him gently, but the fussing and whimpering wouldn't stop.
Dick walked in and paused for a moment. "Is he okay?"
Bruce looked at his son, still trying to soothe (Y/N). "I don't, he has been fussy for a minute or so."
"Where is his plushie? The Batman one?" Dick questioned and Bruce realized what was missing.
"Ah, Alfred said he was going to wash it, since it was covered in drool and snot from the cold he had. It should be out of the dryer soon enough."
Dick let out a huh. "I'll go get the plushie then."
Bruce turned his attention to the fussy baby as he tried to soothe his son.
"I know, but the plushie was so gross with your own saliva and that snot of yours. Unhygienic." Bruce gently rubbed his son's back, watching the door, hoping that Dick would come soon enough.
And Dick came back not even 2 minutes later with the little plushie, handing it to (Y/N), who immediately settled down once the plushie was in his tiny hands, already drooling on it. Then started chewing. Bruce just sighed.
"Of course."
Damian left (Y/N) on the couch for a minute to get some water from the kitchen. Everyone around the couch was babyproofed, so there was no way that (Y/N) would fall off of the couch in any way, shape or form. (Y/N) just sat there, just waiting for a few seconds. Then the boredom came in.
He looked at the trash bag on the couch, before crawling over to it. He started gurgling as he touched the trash bag, enjoying the sound of it as he was moving it around. But once he threw it up in the air and it landed?
It was game over. Absolute game over. Gurgling and laughing. Damian paused from the kitchen, hearing the happy sounds coming from the living room. He peaked his head into the living room, watching (Y/N) have the time of his life with a random trash bag.
A plastic trash bag.
Not all the toys they bought for him, expensive ones because Bruce wanted the best for him, but a random trash bag. A random trash bag.
Damian wasn't sure whether to be insulted or not surprised that this little one is happy with a trash bag. Well, as long as (Y/N) is happy, he should be happy.
He took his phone out and started filming. He wasn't letting this moment slide. He filmed for about 30 seconds before sending the video to the group chat, before coming over to (Y/N), who was distracted by the bag still.
"Perhaps I was wrong about you when father first brought you here. Although I am still the stronger son."
(Y/N) just laughed as he threw the bag up into the air, not listening to Damian, although not like he could understand him anyway. But it didn't matter. Damian loved his little brother. He would never admit it, but would protect this little one with his life.
May you please do a story about Batman's youngest son (7-8 years old). He wants to be like his father when he grows up. He even has his own homemade batsuit.
Aw, that is adorable. I will do that, it is just pure and utter fluff. This is short and sweet, just like me, hehe.
Summary: (Y/N) wants to be like his dad.
Warnings: fluff, just fluff, mentions of why each Robin became a Robin.
(Y/N) has been the light of the family for a very long time. Ever since he was born. His mother didn't want him and Bruce took the little boy in. Granted, they all knew nothing about raising babies, more so newborn. But they tried. Dick loved holding his little brother. Feed him the bottle. He never minded the work. Tim would make sure the baby monitor was the most secure baby monitor in the world. And he made sure all the cyber security when it came to the manor was top notch.
Jason would play with his little brother often. And he did enjoy it, although he would never admit it. But there was something fun about carrying (Y/N) in those chest carriers around the Manor. And (Y/N) loved it. Always babbling all the baby stuff and Jason agreeing with him.
Damian was a bit more apprehensive, since he was the only biological child until (Y/N) came home. So he was apprehensive. Jealous even. But the more time he spent with his baby brother, he grew close to him. Bruce once found Damian in the kitchen, making a bottle for a crying, fussy baby. Even gently cooing in Arabic to calm him down when he was eating.
Bruce now knew that (Y/N) would the most protected child in the world.
Now, 8 years later, (Y/N) was an energetic child. Loved to play sports with his brothers, causing chaos with Jason and learning Arabic with Damian in his free time. Overall, just a positive light in the household, that helped them through the darkest days of being vigilantes. But (Y/N) was not just an energetic child, but also a stubborn child who, when he sets his mind to something, he will do it.
He takes after Bruce in regard.
So it was no secret that (Y/N) was making a bat suit. With the help of Alfred and his sewing skills, (Y/N) has created a bat suit and with a declaration that he will be Batman when he grows up. Bruce saw the bat suit when (Y/N) came to the cave and Bruce had to do a double take.
"Oh my buddy. What is that?" Bruce asked as he turned in his chair at the Batcomputer.
"Your bat suit! I want to be just like you when I grow up!" (Y/N) exclaimed happily, climbing onto Bruce's lap. Bruce adjusted him in his lap. Bruce wasn't exactly sure how comfortable he felt with that. He wanted (Y/N) to grow up as a good man. A man of good character, who won't be as traumatized as Bruce was. He wanted (Y/N) to remain this carefree for as long as possible.
And more importantly, he wanted (Y/N) to be better than him.
Which was a dream that every father wanted his son. That the son becomes a better man than himself. And deep down, he didn't want (Y/N) to be a vigilante. There was no reason. He only became Batman because his parent's murder in front of him at a young age traumatized him. Dick became Robin, later Nightwing, because of murder of his parents by Antonio Zucco.
Jason became Robin and later Red Hood to channel the anger and survival instinct's of a street kid into something productive... Tim became Robin and later Red Robin to save Bruce from being self destructive after Jason's death. Tim's intelligence and being able to deduct his identity saved him.
And Damian became Robin because of claiming to be a rightful heir to Bruce. But he grew up under Ra's al Ghul and Bruce needed to channel that too...
(Y/N) wasn't marked by any tragedy. He wasn't marked by anything like his older brothers did to become a vigilante.
"Is that so? Why buddy?"
"Because you are so brave!"
Bruce bit the inside of his cheek at that. Adorable. Absolutely adorable.
"Anything else?" Bruce gently prompted.
"Mysterious!"
Bruce chuckled at that. He was mysterious to the general public as Batman, yes.
Damian entered the cave, looking right at (Y/N). "Come on (Y/N). It is time for your Arabic lesson."
(Y/N) pouted before hopping off of his father's lap, reaching up for Damian's hand.
"Bye dad!" (Y/N) waved enthusiastically and Bruce waived back with a smile on his face, watching as the two left.

This is probably rude since I know you’re requests are closed. But, I would really like a BatFamxBatbro reader.
It’s (Y/N)’s birthday, while everyone insists he rests, he wants to go on a mission. So, they’re on a patrol and everything, but suddenly a bomb goes off! (Y/N) sees that one of his brothers (doesn’t matter who) is going to get crushed so he pushes them out of the way and gets trapped in the debris.
A few months later, (Y/N) wakes up in a hospital room in the manor. He sees everyone outside having a conversation. Eager to see them again, he gets up and tries running to them. Suddenly, he trips and looks down to see a prosthetic leg.
The bat family helps Y/N recover. But along the way he has mental breakdown. Then they just end it all with fluff
feel free to ignore this.
Nah, we won't ignore this. Our poor birthday boy. Also, a fluffy gif for a more angsty story. Also, I personally have no experience with prosthetic limbs or recovery process related to it, so all of this will come from research. If something is incorrect, please let me know to correct it. Also, 2.5k words. And maybe a rushed ending.
Summary: (Y/N)'s birthday couldn't have been any worse.
Warnings: cursing, loss of a limb, recovery process, (Y/N) breaking down, angst, although not good at it, but a fluffy ending
The day was a special one today. (Y/N)'s birthday. Bruce always let his sons have a day off of patrol and missions on their birthdays, just giving them a day to do what they want. Of course, a family celebration is in order, but then (Y/N) is free to spend it with friends. And Bruce enjoyed celebrating his children's birthdays. It were all highlights of his year.
"(Y/N), you know you can stay home. Have a day off from patrol," Bruce told his boy, who simply shook his head with a smile.
"Patrol is exactly how I want to spend my birthday," (Y/N) responded, a wide smile on his face.
"You know, your brother would take some time off on their birthday," Bruce countered and (Y/N) laughed, making Bruce tilt his head.
"Dick and Tim probably would. Jason would think about it and Damian would not. He would go, just like me."
"Damian is well, Damian. Raised by Ra's al Ghul, in the League of Assassins. So he isn't a good frame of reference for birthdays, when he didn't really celebrate them," Bruce crossed his arms, watching as (Y/N) was organizing his utility belt.
"Perhaps not. But he likes going on patrol, just as much as I do. Besides, I plan to celebrate it before patrol, then go on patrol like usual."
Bruce hummed at the answer.
"Are you sure? Again, you don't have to go on patrol."
"Nah, I'm good."
Dick walked by, having heard most of it. "Just like Damian, stubborn like a mule." He ruffled (Y/N)'s hair on his way, making (Y/N) huff.
"Just take the night off my man." Jason called from where he was fixing his bike up, putting away a wrench.
"Why is everyone so shocked? I want to go on patrol tonight," (Y/N) crossed his arms, pouting.
Jason snorted as he wiped his hands. "You are not Damian. Only Damian would work on his birthday and that is only because of his upbringing," Jason picked up his water bottle.
"Okay, we cannot use Damian as a frame of reference."
Damian just let out a scoff from the training mat in the cave while he was sparring with Dick.
Tim simply looked to the side from the Batcomputer for a moment, before turning his gaze back to the computer.
"Fine. Go on patrol." Bruce conceded, smiling softly at the sight of joy on (Y/N)'s face. Bruce watched as (Y/N) skipped his way off to the lockers to change into his suit, slowly getting ready for patrol tonight. On his own birthday...
Well, Bruce never claimed to have had normal children. Nor that crime fighting while being dressed as a bat is normal. He never claimed that.
"He is an odd one old man. And that is saying something when we are talking about this family and us." Jason said as he walked passed Bruce.
"But he is happy. And that's all that matters."
"Agreed. He sort of the sunshine of the house. Even more so than Dick. Which is not an easy feat to achieve, " Jason wiped his hands from the oil on his hands.
Corners of Bruce's lips twitched, threating to break into a smile. That much was true. Dick was already sunshine as it is, but (Y/N) even more at certain times and moments.
Patrol was brutal tonight. It seems that every single one of villains decided to pull some shit. But overall, fun birthday so far. But right now, there was no fun. Joker was at it again and they were fighting through the henchmen to get to the clown and then arrest the clown to possibly have a calmer night.
But explosives and Joker don't mix well together. Which is what they've heard. Joker got some hands on some explosives and planted them in buildings. They were currently trying to figure out which ones it could be. It's all about sending a message, to get attention. A random building wouldn't do. Also, a singular building wouldn't do either. Had to be big, to make a statement.
Because of course, it's the Joker we are talking about. Him doing something big to garner attention is nothing new.
They were in the middle of helping GCPD evacuating civilians, after an hour of trying the buildings. (Y/N) was with Jason, helping the last civilians out. After that, a final sweep to try and see if anyone was left behind. "This building is older than time itself. If the bomb doesn't get us, the building itself will." Jason mumbled, head moving left and right, checking for any remaining civilians.
"You are not wrong."
After 10 minutes, they were walking towards the staircase, when (Y/N) felt a rumble. He wasted no time in pushing Jay away through the window, just in the nick of time before the building's foundations started exploding. Jason landed on a van, grunting from the pain before the explosion threw him off.
The wave of the explosion through everyone off of their feet. Bruce got up immediately, looking for all of his children. Okay, one, two... Three and four, okay...
"Where is (V/N)?" Bruce asked, looking around for his 5th son.
"He's inside! (V/N)'s inside!" Jason called out to Bruce and Bruce froze. No. No. No... Nonononononono...
It was hours before anyone found (Y/N) in the rubble. They all searched like hell. Even took (Y/N) to the best surgeons at the Justice League, hoping that the best surgeons in the world can save (Y/N)'s leg. The operation was long, but Bruce refused to leave his boy. he waited outside of the room. He sent the boys home or well, tried to. They all refused to leave. Jason blamed himself. He should have grabbed (Y/N) by the damn collar.
Fall out the window with him.
As they were waiting, Jason just stared at the floor, guilt eating him from the inside and out. His helmet was off, leaving only his mask on.
Damn it (Y/N). Damn it.
"Tim, Damian, Dick, can you go to the cafeteria, get us something to drink? I'm pretty sure we are dehydrated, since we didn't drink water in a while," Bruce suggested and Damian was on the verge of protesting, opening his mouth before closing.
He understood why. Father needed to talk to Jason. Okay.
The trio left and Bruce sat down next to Jason.
"It is not your fault. (Y/N) did this because he wanted to. He wanted to protect his older brother."
Jason scoffed, clear he was trying not to cry. "He is an idiot. But I am a bigger one for even allowing him to throw my ass out the window. And... It's his birthday today... Which is fucked up. Fucked up beyond belief." Jason stood up now, unable to sit still anymore.
"And I didn't even hear rumbling. I didn't fucking hear rumbling. And he..." Jason trailed off, breathing heavily as he tried not to cry. He didn't even bother turning around as he started crying.
Bruce brought Jason into his arms, hugging him tightly.
"(Y/N) doesn't want you to blame yourself. He did it because that's what he is. Selfless when it comes to family," Bruce muttered into Jason's hair, who just cried and cried.
After 2 weeks of (Y/N) being in a hospital at the Justice League, (Y/N) was brought home, with all the best care money and Bruce could buy. The best of the best. The public was fed a lie that it was a car accident. Everyone took turns taking care of (Y/N), each in their own way.
Bruce often sat on the bed, sighing as he watched where (Y/N)'s right left used to be. A below the knee amputation. Which was apparently favorable, rather than above the knee. Which was good. Very good, according to the doctors.
Which is why once (Y/N) is medically cleared, Bruce is getting the best prosthetic limb money could buy. Of course, that being from Wayne Enterprises, the biotech department. He knows they just created a really good prosthetic, one where it almost feels like you have a real leg attached to your limb.
But of course, that doesn't negate weeks and weeks of physical therapy that will need to be done. Not to mention how (Y/N) will have to adapt to his new reality. He can live a normal life, just needs a bit of adjusting. Not to mention the therapy. And phantom sensations.
Dick would just talk to (Y/N) while he was recovering. Just talk. About his day. About his thoughts. About how he missed him. About what his brothers did.
Damian was simply reading to him sometimes. Or just sat in silence. If he did read something to (Y/N), it was poetry or a chapter from a book he was reading at the time. He heard somewhere that talking could possibly wake up. He didn't think it was true to a certain degree, but he was hopeful. He hoped.
Tim would spend time with his laptop. He would work on the cases he needed to finish, but he would watch over (Y/N). Any weird vital sign, a twitch... Tim saw it all. He was ready to bolt if (Y/N) showed any signs of waking up. Any.
Jason? He couldn't bring himself to even step into the same room. No matter how much encouragement he got from Bruce and Alfred, he would not go in. He refused. He felt so guilty. Bruce sent him to speak with Black Canary, the resident psychologist for the youngsters. And Black Canary was slowly helping Jason deal with guilt. Slowly but surely.
And Alfred? He took care of his youngest grandson. Oversaw all the care, changed the sheets for him, helped Bruce change (Y/N) on his side so there weren't sores from the pressure of lying down. He was on top of his care, alongside a caretaker they hired, since they didn't really have any medical experience when it came to such care. They could care for wounds and aftercare, but this was different, but he was taking it in stride. But deep down, he was hurting, just like everyone else.
Around 4 months later, (Y/N) woke up. Not dramatically. Eyes twitching open, fingers curling and then the familiar look of the Wayne Manor ceiling. The last thing he remembered was pushing Jason out the window to save him and then it all went black. He looked around the room. Saw the medical bed, IVs, chairs where people could sit around.
(Y/N) turned his head towards the door, hearing the voices of his family. He smiled widely. He stood up faster than he should have, before he crashed to the floor with a loud thud.
The door slammed open as Bruce barged in, eyes widening at the sight of his son that was supposed to be in a coma, awake, somehow on the floor. What the fuck?
Dick and the rest of the family shuffled in behind Bruce, eyes wide at the sight. Bruce quickly put (Y/N) back on the bed, trying not to cry from happiness. His boy was awake. Although didn't seem to notice the leg yet.
Once sat on the bed, (Y/N) noticed. His eyes widened, unsure of what to say. What the hell?!
"Why... Why do I have a prosthetic leg? What..." (Y/N) started talking, blinking, shocked. Where did his leg go?
Bruce explained what has happened. How he pushed Jason out the window to save him and that he probably lost it in the rubble, but that Bruce tried his best to save the leg, but the best surgeons in the world couldn't do it. So Bruce took this prosthetic leg from the biotech division of Wayne Enterprises, the best one he could get his hands on. The one that would essentially mimic the actual, bio limb.
"Where is Jason? Is he alright then?" (Y/N) asked in a quiet tone and Bruce nodded.
"Jason just feels a lot guilt towards the situation. He feels guilty for what has transpired," Bruce explained gently. Dick nodded in agreement, eager to talk to his brother.
"How long was I out?"
Bruce took a deep breath for this. "Around 4 months."
(Y/N)'s eyes widened. What the fuck?
"4 months?"
Bruce nodded. Damian just crossed his arms as he watched the interaction. Tim was pondering if he should go get Jason, but he was sure that Jason wouldn't want to see (Y/N). It would be too difficult. And Jason was already destroyed as it is. Despite all the therapy, progress was slow. Slow, but steady.
"What's going on, I heard a th-" Jason paused, freezing at the sight of an awake (Y/N), looking back at Jason. Jason swallowed before leaving the room. He didn't trust himself. At all. And he didn't want to breakdown in front of everyone.
(Y/N) tried to call out for his brother, but Tim shook his head. "Don't. He blames himself still. He's been talking to Black Canary, but the progress is slow."
Dick silently left the room to check on Jason, worried about his brother.
(Y/N) nodded, rubbing his face. "I don't want him to feel guilty..."
"We know. But he feels responsible," Tim explained, rubbing his jaw. "He just needs time."
Recovery isn't easy, even with the best prosthetic limb and the best physical therapist money could afford. But losing a limb meant lifestyle adjustment. Now, since (Y/N) was moving more, the prosthetic was being adjust more to his needs. But before he could use the prosthetic he had to go through physical therapy. There were good days, there were days when he wanted to quit.
But his family was an anchor that was helping him. Even Jason, who let go of the guilt once (Y/N) and him talked. Now he was (Y/N)'s biggest supporter. You need to vent about physical therapy? Jason is right there. Everyone stepped up for (Y/N).
The Manor became the most accessible place for (Y/N). No rugs, bathrooms were completely redesigned to help (Y/N). The entire place became the most accessible thing for (Y/N). Bruce didn't spare a look at the check when he was writing it for redesigning. He did not care. For his son?
No amount of money was too much for Bruce.
But there was one thing that weighing on (Y/N)'s mind. Now... Now he couldn't be a vigilante anymore. Something he enjoyed more than anything in the world. He loved patrolling with his brothers, his father... And now, it was all gone. He didn't regret saving Jason from the explosion. He would do all of it all again if given a choice.
He just wished he didn't lose his leg. He just wished.
Which is why it culminated during dinner. He didn't know why he just broke down, but he just did. It was during the family dinner, when he just had enough that day. Just... Just had fucking enough. He broke down crying, just letting all the emotion out. He let out the sorrow and grief he felt of not being able be a vigilante anymore.
He just sobbed his heart out, pouring his soul out. Bruce immediately hugged him and his brothers followed suit into a big, group hug. Alfred also hugged his grandson, feeling for his pain. But Bruce reassured him. Just because he probably won't be a vigilante, doesn't mean he can't be an important part. He could help Alfred in the cave as an Oracle. But overall, it isn't the end of the world. And he was loved. He won't be left alone, behind in the dust because of it.
Batfam x batbro male reader (not a vigilante) who is the human equivalent of an angry goose and a walking intrusive thought? Just imagine the amount of chaos this guy unleashes on everyone. Justice League, League of Assassins, The Rogue Gallery - doesn't matter. If he gets an idea or a thought, it's happening - whether it's driving a go-kart while blasting Dragula by Rob Zombie, or mounting fireworks on a helicopter and blasting Free Bird while chasing Joker. Nobody understands how his brain works, but he felt like doing something - so he did it. So much so, that the Batfam became better vigilantes from trying to stop him. And the best part, he doesn't even realize or care what chaos he is creating, but they all still truly love him, because life is a lot more fun with him.
Okay, I am not an equivalent of intrusive thoughts, but I can try. Comedy just ain't my thing folks.
Summary: (Y/N) is a living equivalent of an angry goose and walking intrusive thoughts. Good luck to everyone around.
Summary: Chaos, some cursing
Bruce Wayne should be used to the chaos with 5 boys, right? Right? Well, his youngest, born a few years after Damian to a different mother, was on a whole another level of chaos. Bruce has tried to understand his brain. He really did. But nothing he did worked. And everyone tried to stop him, which in turn sharpened their skills. So Bruce was sort of honed in to expect impossible to happen.
Even now, as Ra's was standing in the manor with (Y/N), holding him by the back of the neck, like a newborn kitten, seemingly unharmed. Bruce tensed up, not expecting this in his own home.
"What the hell are you doing with my son?" Bruce asked, forcing himself to remain calm.
"A better question would what the hell is wrong with his brain?"
Bruce's raised his brow, confused on what Ra's was talking about, silently telling him to continue.
"He, "Ra's started talking, point to (Y/N) with his free hand, "somehow got to my base and drove what I can only assume is a go kart while blasting this... I can only assume it is heavy metal."
"Dragula." (Y/N) supplied while being held like a kitten still, making Ra's clench his jaw.
"Yes, Dragula."
Bruce kept a straight face, but he wanted to laugh. So badly. And if you didn't know Ra's, you would think he was lying.
"You are telling me, "Bruce started, taking a breath to not laugh, "He has somehow got to your base in Nanda Parbat, under the watchful eyes of your guards..." He pause to reign in the laughter, coughing to cover it up. "And blasted Dragula through your base while... In a go kart? Is this the time when you start lying?" Bruce, not being able to believe it still, despite Ra's being honest despite being enemies.
"I am not lying. I may be many things, but not a liar. And I have a video." Ra's reached into his pocket to fish out a small black USB stick. "And try to control this one." Ra's let go of (Y/N) and threw the USB into Bruce's hand.
When (Y/N) was sleeping, probably conjuring up new intrusive thoughts in his sleep, Bruce and others were watching the video in the Batcave. To say it was comedy gold would be an understatement. Just busted through one of those flimsy walls, Dragula just blasting through the speakers he somehow put on the go kart.
Jason was crying with laughter, having to step away to stop. Dick watched before he started laughing too, not even shocked. Tim snorted and Damian's lips twitched, forcing himself not to laugh. He had an image and reputation to uphold.
"I do not know why he is so chaotic. Certainly not me." Bruce said, leaning back into the chair.
Jason came back, wiping back tears. "He is the best sibling out of you all. I swear to God. The best thing about living here."
Dick looked offended at the first part, but couldn't lie that (Y/N) made life interesting. All this chaos. And (Y/N) never seemed to comprehend that he was creating chaos.
"I think this one tops all the chaotic things he has ever done," Tim said.
"Oh please," Damian said, crossing his arms. "He will top this one in a few days."
"But how did he get there though?" Dick questioned, frowning in concentration as he tried to think of an answer.
No one had an answer because it was simply (Y/N).
Things have been too quiet. Bruce and the rest of the family noticed. (Y/N) being quiet? That... That is a bad omen. A really bad omen. Either he was sleeping or scheming. One of the other. Before patrol, Bruce was sitting in the Batcave, watching the news, just to see if there was anything noteworthy to watch out during patrol.
The boys were lounging around the Batcave. Tim tinkering with a few gadgets, Jason working on his bike, Dick stretching for patrol and Damian taking care of his blades.
"Breaking news, we have footage that (Y/N) Wayne is in a helicopter, chasing Joker using fireworks as missiles and blasting Free Bird."
Bruce frowned, wondering if he heard correctly. Jason's head whipped around, but when actual live footage got on screen, he started laughing. Laughing like an absolute mad man, even clapping. Dick's mouth has just dropped, Tim looked up from his gadgets, wondering if he was hallucinating or if this was real.
And Damian just blinked, not sure if this was even real.
"How did he get a helicopter? How is he driving it?" Dick voiced his concern and Bruce stopped the footage to rewind it back. He nearly choked on air as he saw Deathstroke of all people in the cockpit.
"Well, Deathstroke doesn't like Joker, so it checks out..." Tim stated, putting on his utility belt around his waist.
"How di- No, you know what, we have to get (Y/N)." Bruce cut himself off. He would ask (Y/N) was is going through that brain of his once he saw him. Although he would probably get just a shoulder shrug.
And (Y/N) and Deathstroke were successful when in catching the Joker, they landed the chopper on the docks. The family followed the chopper in the Batmobile, with exception of Jason on his bike.
The chopper landed and (Y/N) hopped out, happy as ever. Deathstroke hauled the Joker out, hands tied behind his back with zipties.
"Detective." Deathstroke greeted, holding onto Joker, who was babbling and laughing.
"Deathstroke," Bruce greeted back, watching as Deathstroke knocked the Joker out, clearly annoyed by him. "You kept him alive?"
"I did. Your son said not to kill him." He threw Joker towards the Batman, the unconscious man landing by his feet.
"Nightwing, Red Hood, please put him into the back of the Batmobile," Bruce commanded, not taking his eyes off of Deathstroke and his son who is still standing next to Deathstroke.
"How did he find you?" Damian asked, eyeing down Deathstroke in case he tried to do something to his brother.
"That you will have to ask him. He just found me, laid out the plan to chase down the Joker, in all its craziness. And considering the fact I do not like the clown... I said yes."
"(Y/N) will be the death of all of us," Tim muttered in the cave, changing from his suit.
"I already have several grey hairs from him," Bruce commented as he put on a shirt.
"I have grown to fear the silence from his room and him," Dick put away the suit.
"I always observe him when I can, worried he will do something stupid," Damian admitted as put his blades away.
"I just laugh at all the chaos he brings..." Jason trailed off, taking off his belt.
There was silence in the cave for a moment, as everyone thought about (Y/N). A chaotic teen who acts on all intrusive thoughts, somehow actually getting them done. A chaotic teen who made them think outside of the box when it came to chaos, which in turn made them better at thinking about chaos and how it may play out.
And he was the sunshine of their lives. He made their day better. All the chaos that was never malicious or in bad faith, was... Heartwarming. It was something that eased them after a hard day of patrol or simply a bad day. He always made them laugh, worry, but somehow... Lighter too.
"We all agree that we are going to keep him safe no matter what?" Bruce said after a few minutes of silence.
"What type of question is that old man?" Jason said as he left to go up to the Manor, ready to get some sleep after the shitshow that happened with the Joker.
"I do not normally agree with Todd, but he is right father." Damian also left, making Dick chuckle.
"I think for once we can all agree on something," Dick mumbled, cracking his neck.
"For once." Tim added, putting on a clean shirt.
Bruce smiled softly. Yeah. For once, this family can agree.
Hello, may I know when requests will be open again?
P.S. here’s a cookie for you to enjoy 🍪
Hi, thank you for the cookie. The honest answer would be no idea. I have 5 more left, one being in the drafts already. So again, no idea, but I'm working on it to get them done ASAP.
Hiii! Before I request I just want to say I love your writing so muchh and I’ve been binge reading your batfam and dc fics a they are so cute ❤️! Do you think you could do a batfam fic where batbro is a very attractive man who is very into fashion and gives the batfam fashion advice and stuff but batbro goes on his very first date with a guy from his fashion design class and the batfam decides to intimidate the poor guy the entire time he’s at the manor? If you are comfortable with this of course! Love you and your writing :)!
Of course I can and thank you for the compliments. I sure can do this. I just love it. Overprotective family to the rescue and protecting. Also, I tried to find a GIF for male fashion, but had no luck. Lets imagine the dress is a creation from (Y/N) in school. The name of the boyfriend will be Leon, because I love RE9 and Leon S. Kennedy has me in a chokehold.
Summary: (Y/N) has a date. Family doesn't like it.
Warnings: protective family, probably cursing, (Y/N) being done with all of them, Leon being a brave boyfriend
"No Jay, you can't wear that, it clashes with your skin tone. Also, it is not fitting you. Change." (Y/N) said, sounding like a tired father who told his kid to change already.
Bruce chuckled from the hall. This was a common occurrence in the house. (Y/N) going to fashion school gave him special authority to make sure all of his family members are well dressed for all official events, galas and everything else. Everyone followed his advice, since (Y/N) knew what he was doing. He was excelling in fashion school, always on top of classes and always follows fashion trends.
It doesn't help that he also sews, so he would make custom pieces for them if the need arises for a public event or something. Bruce would compensate (Y/N) with some cash, which was bonus to his monthly allowance. (Y/N)'s brothers would compensate him in different ways and although they didn't have to do that, any of them, by (Y/N)'s words.
And he said so multiple times.
But the others wouldn't hear it. They didn't want (Y/N) to feel like he was being taken advantage of. And besides, creating custom pieces is not something you do quickly. It takes time. A lot of time. So Bruce wanted to make sure (Y/N) was compensated for his time and labor he put into creating the said pieces.
"Also, who was that guy who dropped you off at the manor when your car wouldn't start?" Jason asked and Bruce's brow raised. A guy brought (Y/N) home? He simply said a friend. He didn't know it was a guy.
"My boyfriend."
Bruce's eyebrows raised in surprise and shock. A boyfriend? Since when? How long? Where did they meet? Now, Bruce knew that (Y/N) wouldn't have a problem getting a boyfriend, considering that he was dubbed the most handsome Wayne by the internet a few months ago. And by the advice of his children, he didn't look at the edits, whatever that meant, tweets or anything related to (Y/N). On the advice of his children.
But why didn't he tell them he got a boyfriend?"
"Woah, since when?" Jason asked, surprise clear in his voice.
Being a part of LGBTQ community nowadays was... Well, it isn't safe as it was a few years ago. (Y/N) was trained in self defense in God forbid case some homophobe tried something. But now, well, he needed to vet this so called boyfriend. What are his intentions? Is he using (Y/N) for his family name and the attention it brings? Perhaps he wants the money or something like that?
"A month. Also, he will be coming here for a date on Friday. I don't want the media to see us."
Bruce's eyes narrowed in thinking. Perfect, he thought. He could see the so called boyfriend and make sure that he is perfect for his son. Someone who wouldn't use him for his family name to get attention in the media... And once Jason tells his brothers, well, the game to intimidate and vet the boyfriend would start. Not to mention, he probably got his face on camera of the gates, so he will do a background check.
He had to make sure his son is with a man who has his life together, as much as a person in their 20s can, doesn't have a criminal history and is a good person. And for as long (Y/N) is happy and respected by the man and vice versa, Bruce would be happy.
Friday came and to say everyone had a plan to intimidate the poor guy was in progress. Alfred didn't bother to get involved. He knew (Y/N) can handle himself. He had a part of raising him. He knew that (Y/N) was always far more observant and could pick up on people trying to use him. Of course, being in love can make you blind, but (Y/N) always had a smart head.
He could see through bullshit.
(Y/N) practically ran to the door once the doorbell rang. Bruce could hear Jason muttering game on and Bruce almost rolled his yes. Almost.
(Y/N) smiled as he opened the door. "Leon, right on time." He stepped aside to let Leon in, who held flowers he brought for (Y/N). Roses, (Y/N)'s favorite.
"Oh Leon, you shouldn't have." (Y/N) said, taking the flowers.
"I couldn't come empty handed." Leon said and Alfred quickly took his coat, making Leon jump a bit.
"Leon, this is Alfred. Alfred, this is Liam."
Alfred nodded. "Very nice to meet you. Master (Y/N), the dining room is free and ready."
(Y/N) nodded and took Leon's hand to lead him to the dining room. Alfred has made a nice dinner for them and Alfred's cooking is not something to pass up on.
(Y/N) rolled his eyes when he noticed his family on the sofas. Considering it was an open floor plan, they had a clear view of them.
"Leon, these are my brothers and father. Who were on their way out." (Y/N) said the last part pointedly, giving them all a look to move it. Bruce stood up, a practiced smile on his face as he approached the pair, extending his hand to shake it with Leon's.
"Bruce Wayne, nice to meet you Leon. I've heard a lot about from (Y/N)."
Leon offered a polite smile, shaking Bruce's hand with a firm grip. "It is nice to meet you too sir."
"Oh please, do not call me sir. That was my father. Call me Bruce."
Leon nodded, a polite smile on his face still.
(Y/N) glanced at his brothers and saw the mischievous smiles on their face. All 4 of them. Even Dick's. The least mischievous one... Dear God, this won't end well. After Bruce and Leon got through pleasantries, (Y/N)'s brother introduced themselves before they left under (Y/N)'s glare. (Y/N) was fully aware they were going to try something, but he hoped they wouldn't scare of his boyfriend. He liked Leon. And Leon isn't using him for his last name, money or the attention that comes with the last name.
So he hoped they don't scare him off.
The date was... Well... Going as well as one might be going with 4 overprotective brothers and a father who claims to not get involved, but yet is clearly involved. (Y/N) picked a dining room that wasn't near the main kitchen and yet, they were always passing by the stupid room any chance they could. (Y/N) knew their play. Absolutely knew it. And he was slowly getting annoyed.
He finds a decent guy. A nice guy who doesn't want him for clout, fame or money.
And they might scare him off. Oh hell no.
(Y/N) came back from the bathroom, wiping the remaining water off of his hand on his pants, before pausing in the doorway. Damian, leaning on the table, seemingly cleaning his katana. And (Y/N) knew that katana. The one he adores the most and one that he uses the most when he is practicing.
It was clear he was telling Leon something and (Y/N) could tell that it was threats, based on the expression on Leon's face.
"Damian," (Y/N) started, voice tight. "What are you doing?"
Damian casually stood up fully, that infuriating smirk on his face. "Nothing brother. I was just passing by and wanted to see how the date was going. But do not worry, I am already on my way back." He left with a glance to the couple.
"You have an interesting family." Leon said, picking up his wine glass.
(Y/N) sat down with a sigh, hoping that his chances were not flushed down the toilet.
"I'm sorry if they threatened you, they are overprotective." (Y/N) mumbled, fiddling with his ring on his pointer finger.
"I think it's a test. To weed out weaklings who try to use you for clout and money, you know. To see if I really want to be with you," Leon comforted (Y/N), but (Y/N) rubbed his forehead.
"I don't want them to scare you off. You are a guy who isn't trying to date me for money, clout, fame, whatever..."
Leon smiled and reached for (Y/N)'s hand, intertwining their fingers. "They won't. I'm not that easily spooked by threats. And I think they won't scare me off if they see I make you happy."
"Even when Jason took the long route with his guns down to the shooting range?"
"Hey, the man likes his guns."
"Tim mumbling about hacking?"
"Nothing to hide here."
"And Damian? What did he say to you? Hurt my brother and I'll make sure no one finds you?"
"Pretty much. But I think it's adorable how much he cares about you, despite how cold he looks."
(Y/N) snorted. "You are the only one who thinks so... Did my dad pop his head in? Say some veiled threats?"
Leon shook his head before sipping more of his wine.
"Nope. But I have a feeling he will once I leave, like a parting gift."
(Y/N) buried his face into his hands, sighing. "I'm a grown man. Not some... Child."
Leon smiled as he moved closer to (Y/N). "You know, I find it adorable how they are protective of you, especially with you being a Wayne... So do not worry," Leon comforted (Y/N), giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks."
It was time for Leon to go after a few more hours of hanging out. (Y/N) was walking him to the door.
Bruce peaked his head from behind the corner, watching the interaction. Small, shy smile from his boy towards this Leon. Although himself and his other sons essentially did a deep dive into Leon's life, he still had to have his last word when it came to his son. His boy.
"Ah, the date is over?" Bruce approached the pair after some consideration, making (Y/N) tense slightly. Leon gave the man a polite smile.
"Unfortunately, yes. However, the manor is absolutely beautiful." Leon put his jacket on, adjusting the sleeves.
"Thank you," Bruce said politely, watching Leon tap his pockets for his phone. Bruce made Dick pocket the phone and put it back on the table as the two left for the front door. He sent Dick because (Y/N) had some faith that Dick would not pull the same stunts his other brothers did.
"I forgot my phone, could you go get it? I don't want to walk inside with my shoes," Leon said sheepishly and (Y/N) nodded, quickly leaving for the dining room.
Bruce waited until (Y/N) was our of earshot before turning serious. "I know (Y/N) likes you. But I still have my doubts. So let me make it clear. If you are one of those users who would use my son for attention and fame, I will ruin your life. I know all about you. I have done my homework about you. So thread carefully with my son."
Leon, Bruce noted and gave him credit for, didn't cower or look after being threatened.
"I am not a user who would use (Y/N) for clout and fame. I like him a lot and I see my future with him. And I am not phased by your threats."
Bruce simply smirked as he heard the answer and (Y/N) coming back with Leon's phone. Leon accepted with a smile and gave (Y/N) a parting kiss to the cheek. "I'll text you when I get home, alright?"
(Y/N) nodded as he opened the door for Leon, watching him go to the car, smiling as the car started and drove away from the Manor grounds.
"You all are idiots."
Bruce laughed at that. "Of course (Y/N)."
"I mean, threatening my boyfriend is a new low, for everyone here."
"Of course it is."
(Y/N) closed the door, turning to look at Bruce. "Dad, if you really threatened my boyfriend, I will lose my mind."

I was wondering if I could make an ask? To a Batfam x male! Reader, where the reader is older than Tim and younger than Jason. The reader loves to rollerblade, and damian was always interested in the sport, so he asked his big brother for help. But like the first time they do it, damian finds it a bit too difficult, and just flat out refuses to admit it (despite being shown the ropes). After a few more tries, just rages quit, and the reader goes after him to convince him to try again? This is only if you want to write it, you don't have to.
Fun fact, I can't roller skate for the life of me. I just can't. I waddle like a baby trying to walk for the first time. But Damian rage quitting is just funny to me. Also, this gif is so cute.
Summary: (Y/N) rollerblades. Damian wants to learn. It doesn't go well.
Warnings: cursing, Damian rage quitting, but (Y/N) trying to be a good big brother.
(Y/N) was never one for sports, but something really clicked when he started rollerblading. He really enjoyed it and he would have Alfred drive him to the only rollerblade park in Gotham to enjoy his past time and Alfred would in the mean time do some errands or simply relax in the cafe near, sipping a drink and keeping an eye on the teen. Bruce has decided to build (Y/N) an indoor rollerblade park, so he can rollerblade during the winter and bad weather.
What nobody really expected that Damian would take to it. It wasn't as active as other sports, you can say. Damian would often watch (Y/N) when he was rollerblading at home, being impressed with it. So, naturally, being interested in sports and thinking he could master rather quickly. After all, it is simply four wheels in one line. How hard could it be?
(Y/N) jumped at the opportunity. He knew that Damian wasn't... Well, being social wasn't his thing and Damian wanting to spend time with his big brother? (Y/N) would absolutely help him.
"(L/N)?" Damian walked into the room where the course was, watching as (Y/N) was putting on his rollerblades on the bench.
"Hm?" (Y/N) looked up from the rollerblades, tilting his head. "What's up?"
"I've been curious about this sport of yours, "Damian began and (Y/N) chuckled.
"You mean rollerblading?" (Y/N) interjected and Damian let out a scoff.
"Yes, that. I was wondering if you could show me how you do this. How you do this... Rollerblading." He said, frowning in his usual Damian style and fashion.
"Sure, you can put the rollerblades on right now. I have one pair that should fit you," (Y/N) stood up and skated over to the cupboard where he kept his old pairs. He never had the heart to throw them away. He grew attached to them all and it was a nice show of history for him. How he dedicated years to this, to practice. All the scuffles and scratches on them, it showed the falls and dedication he put into it.
He took one black and white pair and brought them over to Damian. "Here. Do you want me to put them on you?"
Damian nearly said no, that he wasn't a child that needed help, but simply nodded.
(Y/N) knelt down and helped him put the rollerblades on correctly. "They feel good?" He glanced up. "Do I need to adjust it or give you other pair?"
"They feel good. Maybe loosen it up a bit."
(Y/N) let out a mhm sound, loosening it up, just like he had asked. "Better now?"
"Yes it is better now." (Y/N) moved back away from Damian, standing up on his rollerblades. Damian also tried to stand up, but wobbled on his legs, making (Y/N) reach out in case Damian needed to hold on. Damian scoffed at the motion, but he really liked the thought behind it. Although, he would rather die than to even admit that.
Damian made it out to the course, knees waddling a bit, but good balance over all.
"Alright, let me show you the basics."
To say this wasn't going well, would be an understatement of the year. When you have someone like Damian, who likes to do something right the first time. He doesn't like to fail and he doesn't like setbacks. So falling on his ass multiple times, unable to even do basic steps to even do the motion of rollerblading, aka rollerblading itself.
(Y/N) was very patient, explaining to Damian basics, showing him the ropes again. And how did Damian take that falling and setbacks? Not even being able to even to grasp the basics, after multiple showings of them?
Well, rage took over.
"This is fucking stupid!" Damian yelled as he fell again, making (Y/N) give him a soft smile.
"It is not, it simply takes time."
"It is fucking stupid, it's bullshit! I can't even handle the basics! The BASICS!"
(Y/N)'s eyes widen at the louder tone, but stayed patient. "Do you really think that the best athletes in the world have not had the same setbacks?"
"That is different! This is rollerblading! Football, basketball or other shit! This shit is easy!"
(Y/N) bit the inside of his cheek to not laugh at Damian, knowing it would absolutely send him over the edge. And he would explode if that were to happen. More than now.
"Damian, it is not easy. Getting the basics it's not easy. It takes time and practice."
Damian kept cursing and (Y/N) sighed as Damian was starting to take off the rollerblades. "Damian, I need you to breathe."
Damian didn't bother listening as he took the rollerblades and chucked them to the right, hitting the floor with a loud sound. (Y/N) winced and went right to the comforting route.
"Come on, don't give up."
But Damian simply didn't listen. He was storming off and (Y/N) knew exactly how to bring him back.
"I guess the grandson of Ra's Ghul does give up."
At that, Damian froze and slowly turned around, scowling. "I do not give up. Never insult me like that ever again."
"Then get your ass here and prove it."
Damian mumbled curses and insults. He was a lot of things, but a quitter? No way in hell. He got the rollerblades and put them on, getting back onto the course, still mumbling curses, insulted at the mere insult.
"Call me a quitter again, we will have a problem."
That made (Y/N) snort, but he didn't take it to heart. That was just Damian. Prickly as a cactus.
Batfam x Babybat reader who is like Jack-Jack from The Incredibles. A fuckton of power with no sense of control at all.
Babybat causes chaos everywhere, just laughing because it's funny to him, driving the entire family insane trying to catch him or at least slow him down. It goes about as well as you think. Anytime they manage to grab him, he just uses one of his power to escape, whether it is teleportation or turning into smoke.
The only one who can stop him is Alfred, and only if he bribes him with something like food.
So, I've mentioned a few times Incredibles is my absolute favorite cartoon of all time. My parents were going nuts, since it was on loop. Jack Jack is just adorable.
Summary: (Y/N) is like Jack Jack from Incredibles. Unfortunately, his family doesn't have powers.
Warnings: cursing, (Y/N) being like Jack Jack, Bruce is too old for this shit.
Bruce sighed as he noticed his baby son floating in the living room, giggling his head off like floating in the living room and giving his father a heart attack almost every time he did float are the funniest thing in the world. Bruce watched helplessly, questioning all of his life choices that brought him to this point. Well, sleeping with the bio mom of (Y/N) is one life choice, but cut him some slack. He didn't know she had powers. Of any kind. If he did, he would have taken that into consideration.
Genetic possibility of wondering if his future child would have powers too, so he could perhaps act accordingly.
But no, he was drunk, well not drunk, but tipsy. And well, one night stand brought (Y/N) to his house. He didn't mind it. In a way, he was happy. He's not a perfect father, by any means. But with (Y/N) is different than the rest of his sons. None of his older 4 sons were babies, infants, completely reliant on him. His older sons were already older children when he adopted them all. He wasn't their dad in their earlier life...
But he was in (Y/N)'s. He swore to himself that he would be a better father for (Y/N). He would be the father he wished he was... And it was slowly showing after (Y/N) was brought home. He was happier and his boys? Well, they welcomed the change.
But they didn't welcomed the change of (Y/N) showing his powers. Of course, (Y/N) is not at fault, but to say he nearly gave him a few heart attacks is an understatement. The first time it happened, Bruce came into (Y/N)'s room to check on him, since he heard some weird noises on the baby monitor and he wanted to make sure that his youngest child was alright and okay, after all, he is a baby.
He checked the crib, but (Y/N) wasn't there. Which was weird, because he left (Y/N) in his crib, to nap. His sons weren't in the room and he knew that for a fact, because if (Y/N) is sleeping, no matter how long or short, you stay clear of him until he wakes up.
After the fact registered in his head that hey, his son isn't in the crib, Bruce started absolutely panicking. He nearly turned this room upside down, before he heard the giggle above him. He turned to look and he nearly passed out from the sight. (Y/N), floating, like gravity wasn't a thing, like a cute baby balloon, giggling without a care in the world.
Bruce nearly fainted, but managed to stay upright with the help of the crib.
How the hell was this possible?
But the floating wasn't just his only power, oh no.
Oh no.
(Y/N) nearly burned Jason when (Y/N) lit himself on fire after a sneeze. Later researched showed it was pyrokinesis.
Tim was nearly electrocuted when (Y/N) decided to become electricity in human form. That was a fun one.
Damian nearly got a heart attack when he saw his baby brother, but multiplied. Yes, multiplied. Multiplication is that power called, apparently, after Damian checked his heart to make sure it wasn't going to give out.
And Dick? (Y/N) turned into metal one time that Dick was holding him in his arms, nearly falling in the process due to the surprise of the added weight on one side.
So everyone learned to expect every power ever recorded on this planet.
But curiously, the only person whom (Y/N) would remotely listen to was Alfred and only if food was involved. But better something than nothing. And right now, Bruce and the boys were screwed. Alfred went to the store and Bruce and the boys were now stuck with trying to catch the floating baby, who was giggling away.
"We need a plan of attack," Damian stated, not taking his eyes off of his menace of a baby brother.
"Someone grabs him and get the food to bribe him to slow down. Hopefully it works." Tim said, crossing his arms as he looked at floating (Y/N), the most relaxed person in the household.
"I am not catching the menace. He nearly burnt me," Jason said, shaking his head.
"I nearly got electrocuted," Tim added on, making Dick sigh as he moved closer to the couch, where (Y/N) was floating above it.
"He is a baby, he can't control it." Dick defended (Y/N) and everyone knew it was true, but it didn't make it any easier to control these powers... Or even slow them down.
"Alright, lets catch him." Bruce said, all in Batman mode.
Damian jumped first, trying to catch (Y/N) mid air. (Y/N) teleported in the last second, making Damian fall on the floor like he wasn't trained by the best assassins in the world.
Giggling was now heard from the kitchen. Everyone moved to the kitchen, Damian lagging behind from the bruised ego. Jason jumped on the kitchen island where (Y/N) was sitting normally. Jason slid across the kitchen island, but the (Y/N) sitting there was a fake so he was sent crashing on the floor, cursing like a sailor, since Alfred is not here.
The fake (Y/N) was gone, the giggling coming from the hallway.
"I love my son, but I am too old to be crashing to the floor without my suit to cushion the blow. (Y/N), come to papa. Come on." Bruce gently cooed and for a second, the real (Y/N) cooing from the hall and for a second, they all thought it might happen. But that hope was gone once Bruce heard the unmistakable noise of teleportation.
"This is a shitshow." Jason mumbled from the floor, pride and ego broken.
Alfred hummed to himself as he entered the Manor, carrying the bags into the kitchen. His eyebrows raised as he heard commotion in the living room and the smell of smoke?
He left the bags and kitchen and walked into the living room and was there a sight to see. The couch was flipped, pillows were burnt... There was a loud sound of something metallic falling, panicked yells and then giggles from the adjacent hall.
Alfred sighed, knowing exactly what was going on. He simply turned on his heel back to the kitchen. He was going to get some apple sauce and bribe the menace of the grandson he has. He rummaged through the bag before he got it it out, preparing a spoon.
"Oh my God, close the door, don't let him out!" Dick yelled out, panic in his voice very much clear. What followed was the slam of the door leading out to the garden, then more panicked yells and giggling from the little menace.
Alfred calmly stepped into the hall, following the yells. In the room leading out to the garden, (Y/N) was walking on walls. Jason's hair looked like he was shocked with electricity, Damian's shirt showed clear signs of being burned. Dick had bruises on his arms, clearly from (Y/N) turning into metal to mess with him. For some reason, (Y/N) loved to turn into metal when Dick was holding him. Or turn into metal mid air before he fell into Dick's arms.
Tim was crumpled on the floor, pride clearly gone. And Bruce? He would rather take on every single one of his enemies, at the same time and without a suit and with one arm.
"Oh, (Y/N)," Alfred cooed, breaking everyone out of their trance. Bruce sighed from relief as he watched (Y/N) float to Alfred, giggling. Alfred smiled and started feeding him the applesauce.
"You didn't think to bribe him with food?" Alfred asked, not even looking up from (Y/N).
"Well..." Jason mumbled, rubbing his face.
"Not really." Dick chimed in, rubbing his eyes. "I don't know how we forgot it."
"Well, while I feed the little menace, you all can unpack and put away the groceries and then clean up the mess."
Bruce sighed, too old for this shit. "That is fair. Come on boys. After all that, I am calling everyone from the League to see how they raise children with powers."
Alfred simply hummed as he multitasked, before going to sit somewhere, to keep feeding the little shit of the family, while the 5 of them cleaned up the mess they helped create, by not just offering some food. Something that all babies love. Alfred shook his head fondly, trying not to laugh as he still couldn't believe that they didn't remember.
