TERRIBLE LIZARD

I’m not adding all those tags again but my queen scarlet drawing without the scar for fun!! I want to remake the design I have in mind for her because I made a better one imo like a year ago

I recently got a tag on my Queen Scarlet art tagging it as body horror, which to me, shows a lack of empathy towards people and also condescension towards me. In no way did I portray Scarlet's burn wound or Scarlet herself as horror in her drawing, my drawing is a representation of her after the attack, and tagging it as body horror is, I feel, unempathetic towards burn victims. Scars/wounds, unless portrayed with the intention of doing so, are not body horror.

As well, I know how to tag my work. This piece is not horror..? In no way do I portray Scarlet's disfigurement as body horror, it is just art of her wound just after Glory's attack.

Kismet is Quandary's mentor

Thought of Nightwings who have foresight use painting / other methods of drawing as a way to grasp ahold of their ideas, a sort of therapy to relieve them of any stress that may accompany them in the face of worrying visions and also an activity to strengthen their minds.

Somewhat like Animus magic (it weakening the power of one's soul), foresight and mindreading start to weaken with age. As a result, Kismet's foresight is not as clear. However, as he paints, he is able to grasp ahold of confusing visions easier as well.

Quandary, worried by the visions that show their demise, wriggles under Kismet's wing and nags him to become their mentor. While reluctant, Quandary eventually reached Kismet after months of lackluster persuasion. Kismet finally agreed to teach Quandary how to paint their visions.
