Holidays aren't that great.
Watching him smile didn’t affect her at all, she tried keeping focus and ignored his comment about the thing. “Then throw it away.” she suggested.  And it was times like these she reminded herself being with Lelouch was never boring. She could smile and not feel guilty or unhappy because of her ability to show emotion every now and then. She could be happy without the feeling of guilt overriding every possible nerve ending that triggered these foreign emotions called love and warmth. She was immortal but no longer alone. A small tug came across her lips as she blinked her eyes once. Sorrow was no longer a part of her.
“Don’t start crying over it.” She states, closing her eyes as she turned toward him, biting her lips in slight annoyance. “It’s not attractive in a man.” she says as she smiled coyly.
She just gives him an elaborate shrug, one that starts in her arms, migrates to her shoulders, and then just slumps downward as if she ran out of energy half-way through the movement. Bending down to pick up a towel, she decides then a shower would do her good. Getting pizza was a bust, they ended up being closed which meant she had to try those damn doughnuts of his. She then pauses while reaching the bathroom handle, throwing him a look over her shoulder. “Should have arrived minutes earlier, maybe then we could have saved some water.” she smirked before entering the bathroom.
It was a simple tease. Her usual tease that got her entertained after all.
He looked at the figure in his hand and brought it into the room with him as he began to get changed.Throwing on a gray shirt and some sweat pants he didn't care for his appearance any longer since, he wasn't needed to be confined to certain rules.Â
He wasn't a prince.Â
Crying over something like this.. what is she thinking. Though it was something remarkable, how paper could hold something truly special, "Like I'd ever do such a thing.." Lelouch watched C.C. head towards the shower as she teased him a bit. He frowned and crossed his arms, "If you went first I wouldn't have any hot water." Lelouch let out a sigh, seeing that he had nothing else to do since the gifts and tree was all ready set up, he laid on the couch and began picking up from where he left off in his book. Of course he never got far in it, because he ended up falling asleep 10 minutes into the book.Â
And there he laid, with a book on his face and his other hand resting behind his head, dreaming about his past Christmas.Â
