Sto aspettando mia cugina sulle scale dove lei aspettava la mia mamma (la "nostra" mamma) 28 anni fa. Mi sento tranquilla in una casa non mia per la prima volta nella mia vita. Mi chiedo perché ma la risposta è semplicissima: sono già stata qui. 28 anni fa c'ero anche io qui, nella pancia della mia mamma. Mi è sempre sembrato un po' divertente e assurdo dire "Sono già stata in Australia" ma ora mi rendo conto di quanto sia vero. Non mi sento spaesata. Mi sento quasi in una "succursale di casa".

La vita è una cosa stupefacente.

Ieri la tenevo in braccio, leggera come un batuffolo di cotone. Oggi la mia Principessa indossava un grembiulino rosa per il suo primo giorno di scuola materna. Eppure mi sembra che sia nata ieri.

Oggi Principino dai Capelli d'oro ha iniziato la prima elementare. Va a scuola.
