i think we should be honest & realistic & acknowledge that 'palestine sunk harris' is pure cope. i understand that it is comforting to imagine that passionate support for genocide is unpopular with the usamerican electorate but the actual facts don't beat that out. what sunk harris was a shit campaign run by the same morons who tried to keep biden in as the candidate

i just think that a lot of people are attracted to a nice morally neat narrative where losing is harris' karmic justice for smilingly endorsing some of the most horrific evils of the 21st century but i really think it's much more attributable to running an awful campaign that self sabotaged at every turn

I cannot relate to any of you acting like this election is anything other than a performance. We live in a fascist country and there are two fascists on the ballot. Whoever wins, our conditions here will continue to worsen. Genocide will be allowed to continue unabated.

i need everyone to know that community is what will save us all in every single way imaginable. you forming a bond with your neighbour or coworker might help them move house or feel less alone or have the courage to leave an unhealthy living environment. you helping a stranger might provide them with hope. in turn, being able to lean on your community in times of need will save you. your broader bonds with your community are the revolution we need. our society seeks to divide and separate us in so many ways but we are all so much more united in our struggles and joys than you are made to believe. we need to hold onto each other very tightly.

As much as I want to support ethical farming practices I will be buying the cheapest bag of frozen chicken thighs as much as the next frugal/poor person which is why animal welfare needs to be legislated, not left up to the invisible hand of the free market or some bullshit.
