Confession time: It’s been really getting me down that I’ve lost touch with being creative lately. I’m now in the process of training to become a teacher, so the truth is I don’t have a great deal of time to draw anymore, let alone animate. Looking over my recent posts I was sad that I’d not produced anything arty that I was proud of, and the content of my posts was getting more personal. I’ve realised though that all that is okay. My main focus has changed for the time being, and I need to remember how happy I am when I’m teaching and put 100% into making that happen. It’s okay that I’m not doing as much art because I’m trying to achieve a new goal. But I’m not going to give up with creating; I’m going to continue posting little bits and bobs whenever I get the chance to create them, and keep my personal life away from the persona I worked so hard to make for myself during University.
