I don't really post art on here anymore but I thought since it was Styracosaurus' day for the Draw Dinos Daily Challenge, I wanted to share something since they're one of my favorite dinosaurs. This was from a larger painting I was working on but I don't think I'm going to finish tbh
I think I'd like to make a proper entry to the challenge at some point down the line but I gotta get some other projects out of the way first, so hope this suffices for now~

Diverse Tolkien Week (#dvtw21) Official Post:
Hello Lovely Followers and Friends! Welcome to the official promo for #DiverseTolkienWeek or #dvtw21. You can find the page here! This is a week for Tolkien fans to reimagine their favorite worlds, books, movies, characters, etc., in a more diverse and inclusive way.
It will take place February 22nd-28th, 2021!
That said, even though this is a specifically Tolkien fandom week, all fans who enjoy fantasy are free to partake in the event and reimagine their original works or Fantasy/Sci-Fi fandoms in an inclusive way.
Below are the prompts. Interpret them how you will! Be that writing, art, music, essays, meta, etc., Be creative. Think outside of the box! Tag appropriately.

Across the world, protesters and activists are working hard to convince our governments that dramatic change is needed, now, to ensure that our black siblings and neighbors are not only able to survive, but thrive, instead of suffer under systematic antiblack racism and white supremacy.
We here on Palaeoblr are committed to doing our part for that struggle - but we can’t do it alone. As such, this weekend we will be hosting a Stream on Twitch:
The Dino Nerds For Black Lives Stream
During this stream we will be raising funds for The National BailOut Fund and The Bail Project - which both help individuals arrested by police to make exorbitantly high bail amounts, which greatly affects black people even when there aren’t extensive protests occurring. We also will be directing funds to local Black Lives Matter chapters as well as Ranowo Campaigns. More info about how donations will work will come in a later announcement, but all proceeds will go to these charities.
In return, we plan on rallying eagerness for donations by having a variety of guests across the paleontology community - individuals from Darren Naish to Thomas Holtz to Pete Makovicky and more - to talk about their work and answer questions given by those who donated. We also will have artists working on their work, joking and riffing by our silliest science communicators, and of course, dinosaur-related gaming.
We hope to see you all there from 6PM (Pacific Time) on June 19th until Midnight on June 22nd (Pacific Time). The twitch channel for the project is https://www.twitch.tv/dinonerdsforblacklives.

Well I completely ditched mermay in order to work on this little lady, but at least she's finally complete! I sculpted her for an art contest for a web browser game I've recently gotten into called Wild Horse's Valley. The goal was to make an artwork of one of the game's horses, this one being the mythical rainbowhorse.
She measures about 7 cm long from her snout to the tip of her tail.
Mermay Day 4!
Did you know that there are hints in Alice in Wonderland that it likely takes place on May 4th? That book was one of my favorites growing up, so for today I thought it'd be cute to draw mermaid Alice (Jellymaid? Jellyfishmaid?) and a little sea bunny-inspired White Rabbit 🐇🐌

Day 3 of Mermay!
Keeping up with my fishkeeping theme after a year of caring for Momo I decided I could handle a second tank, so in came my next betta: Molokai! In contrast to Momo, Molokai was always a timid and sweet little guy. I also started keeping aquarium plants for the first time using his tank, so of course I had to paint him tending to his lemon bacopas 🌱🍃
Day two of mermay!
Yesterday's entry was fun but for this month I wanted to make this mermay themed around my fishkeeping journey. Here's the fish that officially kickstarted it all; a betta fish I had named Momo! He started off always being excited to see you but became a big grump later in life. He always stayed super cute though 🐟🍑🐠
