Part 3 of ??? (P1, P2, OG Post)

Liu Qingge recovers well, he was surprisingly okay aside from the complete depletion of his spiritual energy. The Wen Remnants are able to keep A-Yuan from discovering their guest for a whole 16 hours before LQG performs a jailbreak on the healers hut when he determines he is well enough to walk (Wen Qing disagrees with this assessment). Wei Wuxian is in his cave doing some theorizing about dimensional travel as he puts the finishing touches on Jin Ling’s 100 Day Celebration Gift.

A-Yuan goes sprinting to LQG as soon as he sees him, shouting ‘Rich-gege!’ LQG with all the practice of an older brother, scoops up A-Yuan while avoiding aggravating his injuries. A-Yuan realizes this is not Lan Wanji, but yet again LQG’s big bro powers prevent issue. He gives A-Yuan a little smile and introduces himself. A-Yuan declares him ‘Pretty-gege’ and decides he’s his fifth favorite person when LQG lets the toddler sit on his shoulders as he explores.

The Wen Remnants are aware there is an unknown cultivator in their home, but seeing him walk around with a little smile and grunting at appropriate times as A-Yuan yanks on his bangs and babbles about the camp and everyone in it very quickly eases their stress. Along with his absolute non reactions to the Wen robes and names.

After forcing WWX to sleep, WQ finds her other patient in the middle of their measly fields, plowing the earth with all the dedication the War God applies to his swordsmanship. This is very much not acceptable because the man was unconscious yesterday. LQG listens to her protests, looks around at the elderly who are working the earth – aside from Granny who is watching A-Yuan as the toddler explains the creation of child radishes to LQG – and goes back to his work.

Wen Qing wants to be angry, but LQG really doesn’t look like he’s struggling and he’s not using his still low levels of spiritual energy, and honestly they need the help, so she sets up her own work somewhere she can keep an eye on him and tells A-Yuan to make sure he drinks water.

That evening, LQG sits down with Wen Ning, WQ, and WWX and asks what their story is. He’s figured out some things from A-Yuan’s ramblings, but wants the full story. The Wen sibling and WWX had already agreed to tell him the full truth, he’s proven he’s trustworthy enough with his information about resentful/demonic energy and he’s been very open about his own situation.

LQG is, predictably, furious about… well basically all of it. He sits there and listens, then after a long silence he asks what WWX plans to do now. WWX kind of strugs and jokes, “Grow some radishes” LQG does not like this plan, but it is not his place to speak on it… not yet anyways.

At this point, WWX tells LQG about his trip in 2 days to go to the Jin Sect for Jin Ling’s 100 Day Celebration. He invites LQG to go with him so he can ask the Lan Sect to look at their library for any information on how to return to or contact his universe. “Lan Zhan will definitely help!” Cue side eye from LQG cuz if this Lan Zhan is so helpful why is there a toddler living in the Burial Mounds.

Wen Ning points out that people with have questions about the sudden appearance of a cultivator as powerful as LQG. The excuse of wandering cultivator won’t work, LQG is too memorable (WWX: On his looks alone). WQ proposes LQG will be a disciple of Boshan Sanren like WWX’s mom. He came down from the mountain, discovered the fate of his Shijie and went looking for her son, WWX. This explains his lack of knowledge of the world, his power, and his affiliation with the Yiling Patriarch. LQG doesn’t love the lie, but he is from a mountain and loves his sister so he agrees to talk around the subject or stay silent. (WWX: good thing I’ll be there to talk to Lan Zhan with you, otherwise you two would sit in silence the whole time haha!)

…I’m sure nothing bad will happen on the way to the celebration.

Part 2 of ???, (part 1, based on here) (this is eventual jiang cheng x liu qinge probs)

Liu Qingge comes to consciousness being carried on someone back, even with drained energy and closed eyes, he picks up on the energy radiating from the stranger: demonic. He tries to sit up, not to attack, but to better understand the situation. He’s never really been one to feign sleep.

Wei Wuxian notices the moment the cultivator on Wen Ning wakes, though he wishes the man had waited a few more minutes as they are just about the reach the settlement and Wen Qing and her needles. LQG frowns at WWX cuz he can sense demonic energy, but can also tell this man is a human, so he straight up asks, “Are you a demon?” WWX laughs, “Is that what they are saying about this one these days?” LQG frown deepens, his eyes are slightly unfocused, “Who are you?”

This brings WWX up short, cuz sure he doesn’t recognize this guy but that’s not exactly a new experience for him. But Wen Ning doesn’t recognize the man either even though he’s clearly a powerful cultivator. So, he hadn’t participated in the Sunshot Campaign…

WWX gives a flourishing little bow, “This fearsome one is the Yiling Patriarch, Wei Wuxian. Did you come to my Burial Mounds without even knowing the face of its owner?” He figures LQG truly has no clue who he is, but needs to make sure. He watches LQG’s face for any sign of recognition or hostility.

LQG shows none. “Are you an enemy of Ciang Qiong Mountain Sect?” When WWX give a baffled no, LQG nods, satisfied, gives WN a long look then passes out again.

Wen Qing comes running out of the settlement at this point, sees the amount of blood dripping over Wen Nin and urges them into her hut to see to LQG wounds.

LQG wakes the next day, way before WQ expected even with the size of his core. She refuses to answer any of his questions so he sits through her exam as Fourth Uncle is sent off to get WWX. LQG is very well trained to listen to healers (shout out Mu Qingfan) and knows he needs to be in his best shape to handle whatever this new situation is. This sadly leads WQ to believe he is reasonable.

WWX arrives. WN is hovering out of sight to not cause any issues if now the cultivator is in their right mind and decides the ‘demon’ needs to be exterminated. LQG very quickly reveals he has no idea who any of them are or what the Burial Mounds are, aside from a place seeped in demonic energy.

WWX corrects him that it’s resentful energy. LQG puts out his senses and says there’s some resentful, but the majority is demonic. WWX begins to ask about the differences as they are both confused for this type of sense is beginner level in both their worlds, but WWX hasn’t actually run into real demonic energy because for him demons aren’t real. WQ cuts off WWX’s questions and asks LQG to explain his side of the story.

He complies. WWX very quickly picks up on his dimensional travel, no matter how impossible it sounds. WQ however latches onto something else. LQG calls Wen Ning a demon and disagrees he’s just an advanced type of fierce corpse. He says WWX may use resentful energy but there’s a small demonic core in his body.

It takes a bit, and several medical examinations, to solidify that LQG is from a different reality and WWX is a human but is cultivating a demonic core and may have perhaps created the first ever demon in this world.

this is an extended version of my post. Part 1 of ???

During the events of Maidu Ridge, Xin Mo is going wild creating rifts. One of these rifts opens through Liu Qingge’s chest. He’d gotten too close to the nexus point trying to save his shixiong. This tears a copy of LQG from the SVSSS universe and yanks him through a portal (The original version stays behind, concept inspired by the fic ‘Where’s My Goddamn Dinosaur?’)

The portal drops him in the place of the highest concentration of energy in the same family as Xin Mo’s demonic energy: the Burial Mounds, ripe with resentful energy. LQG’s spiritual energy burns up in the journey, protecting him from being vaporized by dimensional travel so he arrives depleted of energy and exhausted.

It’s not long before fierce corpses are drawn to his powerful yang energy, but he’s half conscious and only has the power of his body to defend himself. If he could just buy himself sometime to gather spiritual energy, but the constant fighting and the lack of spiritual power in the mounds makes it impossible.

Just when LQG’s contemplating sacrificing a limb to try a new method of escape, the sound of a flute stills the fierce corpses in their tracks. LQG awaits this new foe, but out steps a young man in black robes, lowering a flute from his lips.

Wei Wuxian, seeing an unfamiliar, beat-to-shit cultivator in white (and black) robes, makes a crack about LQG choosing an unfortunate place to get lost while scanning this stranger for something showing a sect allegiance. In his last fleeting moment of consciousness, LQG determines WWX wouldn’t have saved him just to kill him and allows himself to pass out.

WWX crouches next to LQG’s body, uses the end of chenqing to push away a lock of hair to reveal a beautiful face, and calls for Wen Ning cuz there’s no way he can drag LQG’s body back to Wen Qing himself.

LQG drops in before the ambush at the pass right before Jin Ling's 100 day celebration. the wen remants find him cuz he crashed in burial mounds and they are right about to head out to the 100 day celebration and wwx says he might find answers from the people there so come with. so instead of wen ning its lqg. after the fight dies before it can begin lqg doesn't wanna go to the jin towers cuz he doesn't trust these people to not try and attack his new friend (gotta keep in mind that this man gets attached hella fast, esp if when he falls into story he's unconcious or low spiritual energy and wwx saves him)

lwj hears of attack and shows up in BM and sees a different stoic man in white with wwx but this one does wha lwj didnt and is helping wwx and the wen remnants. lwj is immediately hella jealous this gives lqg the ick cuz it reminds of Lbh jyl wants to check on wwx but can't cuz jin responsibilites and shes calming people down about the attack and making sure justice is done so she sends jc to go check on thier brother jc agrees cuz hes worried and also to sus out this stranger who just happened to roll up and cozy up to wwx after talking more wwx realized lqg is from FAR away and knows that this world and people will be hella sus of him if he doesn't have background especially with the kind of power he weilds so wwx claims lqg comes from boshan sanren's mountian and is attached to wwx cuz his mom was his shijie lqg doesn't like lying but is from a mountain so will just nod and talk about lmy his sister if people ask lwj thinks lqg is good and wants to hate him but cant cuz hes doing what lwj should have (a-yuan gets them confused sometimes and that stabs lwj through the heart) jc arrives and is like wow powerful… thats sus. wwx tries to tell the bssr lie and jc and like dont lie to me, but wwx promised to help his new friend so now theres this stare off, that lqg can't stand the whole lying to your siblings so he tells the truth for wwx. 'you can lie to the whole world but not your siblings'
