• lan wangji is also a college student studying law and musical theory but he really wants to focus on education

• hua cheng owns multiple casinos/hotels around the country named "the gamblers den"

• lou binghe is currently in a business apprenticeship to take over his father's company but swears when he's finished hes going to open a restaurant (in memory of his adoptive mother) and become shen yuan's house husband

• wei wuxian is an astrology/witchcraft girly. This man has everyone's birth cart and star signs mapped out, tarot cards are used daily. unusual connection to the dead.

• hua cheng has a variety of novelty glass eyes that he uses on holidays or when he needs to fuck with someone

• shang qinghua eventually rewrites pidw with shen yuan funding him and nie huisang being his beta reader (sy would've done but he knows he would be incredibly biased so nhs it is)

• in the mc trio xie lian is the oldest but shortest and wei wuxian is the youngest but tallest
