So the knives specifically that Mobius had in his personal locker.

They're not the Dark World knives.

They're definitely not the Avengers ones...

They're not even the famous Ragnarok ones!

They are the Infinity War ones. The last one Loki used.

That...sure, of course it would be the last one he used, that's the easiest one for Mobius to acquire, but think about why that is...how that is...

A derelict ship, drifting through space with nothing but dead bodies, Asgard's last hope, and one of their princes lying broken and dead on the ground...

That knife clattered to the side. Of course getting it wouldn't cause a branch.

But he did it at least twice.

He went to that particular moment in time, that bitter end we know he despises based on Wilson's acting episode one, and he took something.

He's supposed to turn everything in to Renslayer, for her trophy shelf. But Loki...was a war trophy, to his father, to Thanos--his existence was diminished to nothing but a weapon of war collecting dust on a shelf.

Maybe Mobius couldn't let that happen again. So he took something for himself. Something he put in his weapons locker. Something he may even have used. Something he may even have kept simply in memory of someone he cared about.
