This is a little snippet from my Doctors AU that I hope to finish someday <3 Wille is an intern at a ped department, and Simon is his awkward ass consulting doctor.

I think a lot of people have been tagged already, but I'm tagging @oui-oui-holly, @filmspring, @vvachillessongvv and whoever else would like to do this!

There is a reason!

The point of Simon telling Wille that he loves him is not for Wille to say the same thing in return. He tells Wille, because it’s important for him that Wille knows.

As unfair as it sounds, the whole conversation happening that night is Simon’s way of making it clear to Wille what his intentions are. He is stating all of his facts, and then it’s up to Wille to make decisions based on that. It’s not supposed to be a two-way thing.

Also - Wille, in his delusional little mind, thinks that it’s a given that he loves Simon. So for him, it is not necessary to state it.

We should totally make a list with all the good fics for all us allergy suffers, it's HARD to avoid. Especially with long fics

Simon talks about Wilhelm with the boys. (And tries to keep some secrets hidden)

“Walter says Wilhelm is gay,” Henry commented. 

“I fucking knew. With all the rings he wears,” came from Vincent. 

Simon frowned. “What’s that supposed to mean?” 

“Haven’t you seen? He’s all-” Vincent paused the guitar playing to make a gesture with his hand, clearly conveying more than one point: He thought it was okay to make fun of gay people, and he thought it was okay to make assumptions about people’s sexuality. 

If Simon wasn’t deadly scared to give too much away about himself, maybe he would have tried arguing. The best he managed now was: “Wearing rings has nothing to do with his sexuality.”

An enemies-to-lovers Music Camp fic with fuckyou-energy and a lot of unfortunate situations

“You can save your explanations about why you two don’t like each other. The situation is this: We do not have any spare rooms, and since you are both taking the ‘songwriting’-course, you’ll be spending a lot of time together.”

Simon opened his mouth to protest, but Boris held out a hand, silently asking him to not interrupt. “I don’t think you have given each other a fair chance. So I have printed out some questions-“ he dug into a drawer in his desk, searching through some papers before finding the right ones. “I want you to answer these questions about each other and then hand them in to me on Sunday. Understood?”

Welcome to the allergic-to-fluff fellowship!!!! 🥳🥳 But honestly, this means A LOT to me. I know there are a lot of different preferences out there, so I guess it makes sense that my fluff-writing isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

I agree with the part about fluff sometimes appearing only for fluff’s sake. I think every scene has to serve a “purpose” (like, change their dynamic in some way or have something “at stake”). And often - to me - I feel like the fluff starts feeling superficial if it has no purpose.

Personally, I often skip the last 1-2 chapters of good fics, because the authors use them to heavily fluff-write. Maybe it’s just me…

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Right now only YR (My sweet Wilmon <3). I started my fanfic career with 1D Louis/Harry, then later moved on to Malec from shadowhunters.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Boris' Books (Bookstore AU) My longest fic, and defintely the fic I've enjoyed writing the most. I've also loved seeing people's reactions. Some comments have been incredibly reflective and philosophical, you guys are absolutely amazing!!! I hope you know that!!! The other ones are all about Malec

5. Do you respond to comments?

I do! Mostly. But it takes time for me, which I'm trying to be better at. But seriously, I LOVE EVERY COMMENT

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

No doubt about it Boris' Books. BUT I do think I ended it a lot less angsty than I could have. (I didn't even realize when I wrote it that it was angsty, but then people were crying in the comments. It surprised me a bit)

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Probably Purple and Pining because it's just 26k words of banter, smut and fluff

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I accidentally saw that someone on X asked (in relation to Boris' Books) if I was allergic to writing fluff. AND IT STUCK WITH ME, SORRY FOR NOT GIVING YOU GUYS ALL THE FUCKING FLUFF YOU DESERVE. (But Almostlake has been trying to calm me down in our tumblr-convo and tell me nice words about my fluff-writing, so thank you <3 <3 <3) Also, I have gotten some on my earlier work. (The police man AU fic had a whole ass Team!Magnus / Team!Alec thread in the comments. People did NOT like how rough Alec was with Magnus. But then people were defending me in the comments as well, so all good)

Yes!! Very much yes, lots of it all the time

Translated one of my own from Danish to English

Yesss, the original work My Shithead Neighbour. Wrote it with my real-life best friend <3

15. What are your writing strengths?

I'd say being true to my characters. (Not suddenly changing their goals / fears to make it fit the narrative)

I'm not afraid to change the plot in the middle of writing the chapter if it doesn't feel "right". (With Boris' Books, their first kiss was originally meant to happen on the couch-scene in Bjärstad, but then it didn't feel right. I didn't want Simon to be a cheater when it all came down to it. Also, Simon was meant to kiss Wille, but that also didn't feel right)

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Apparently I'm allergic to writing fluff

17. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I love it, especially in YR-fandom, because I understand Swedish. Guess I wouldn't like it as much if I didn't understand Swedish....

I wrote reader/Niall Horan fics in 2011 when I was 12

19. Favorite fic you’ve written?

Boris' books Bookstore Wilmon AU. Definitely the most emotional work I've ever done. I'm satisfied with how it turned out.

In my veins My med-students AU Malec fic. It gives me flashbacks to when I took this course in med-school, and I love the enemies-to-lovers I managed to build up in this story.

Purple and Pining Tumblr AU Wilmon. It's the funniest shit I've ever written!! And also, I loved writing this because most of it is real quotes that Almostlake said in out tumblr-convo. THE SEXTOY THING??? THE FACE REVEAL??? Yeah, it all happened

Simon blinked at the screen. What? His eyes shot down the hallway again, his cheeks already a shade darker than they had been before. No, this wasn’t happening. He was not strong enough to be here, while Wille was somewhere in this fucking building with a buttplug up his ass.

If Simon wasn’t careful, this was going to be the thing that made him cave. Because, fuck, he wanted to ask Wille where he was, go find him and take him to some stupid study cell and do… do something about this.

Frowning slightly, Simon reread the message.

CpAugust4ever: You definitely have a dick. There’s no fucking way you can write smut like that with a vagina between your legs.

When he had dropped his tumblr account at the end of his latest AO3-fic, this wasn’t exactly what he had been expecting. Sure, the Young Royals fandom was pretty big, so it wasn’t so weird that he got some kind of response. But this?

(OR: Simon writes smut online, and Wille is his number one fan. Basically a whole fic where Wille tries to win over Simon)

A little sneak peak from the next chapter of Boris' Books.

Victor came into the room wearing only his underwear. “Oh, hey Buddy,” he said. “How did the concert go?” “Awful,” Wilhelm sulked.  “Oh? Poor Simon, he was looking so much forward to it.” Victor pulled a carton of milk out of the fridge and began drinking from it.  With a sigh, Wilhelm corrected: “The singing part went really well, but I think I did something stupid.” “Okay?” Victor’s expectant gaze was the last thing he needed.  “I really don’t want to explain everything right now, but I might have accidentally ruined this whole thing with me and Simon,” Wilhelm said. Then, a bit more desperately, he added: “Or, I don’t know. I have no idea what he’s thinking, if there was even anything to ruin in the first place. Maybe me and Simon were never going to happen, anyway. Maybe it has only ever been in my head that we both felt this way. Maybe I’ve just been-” With his hands raised, Victor said: “Jeez, Wille, go talk to him. All of this rambling is not going to give you any answers, is it?” The words were so true that they effectively shut Wilhelm up.
