Spoiler for Spider-Man Brand New Day
Remember in Thunderbolts when Yelena confessed to Alexei that she felt so alone and drepressed. That the only things she was able to do was going to work, stare at her phone and think about all the bad things she has done.
In the intro the Brand New Day we see Peter going full SpiderMan mode (working), stalking Ned on his social media (staring at his phone) and constantly visiting May's grave (thinking about the bad things he has done).
Black Widows were trained to easily read people, so the moment Peter walked into Yelena's "office" she clocked the same depression that tormented her for so long. Her comment about him being a "sad man" wasn't thrown randomly, she knew that it was true.
That is why she was geniuly happy when she saw him with friends; because it was having friends what ended up saving her and she truly believed that it could save Peter too. She was right.
Imagine: You go to Yelena Belova's office for a meeting with her, but it turns out to be a jacuzzi. She's naked in the water, and demands you take off your clothes and get in.
This is not a fanfiction, but a real thing that happened to my good friend Peter Parker. And it should have been me.

✈︎ Armando González x Reader ✈︎
Reader is a babysitter for Memo Ochoa
(Reader, Hormiga, Memo, Lucciana, Guillermo, Karla)

You were already part of the routine.
By the time Guillermo Ochoa and his wife went on their date, they left the kids at home with a quick goodbye—just a quick:
“Ya sabes todo.”
And you did.
Because this wasn’t new anymore.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁
“¿Me haces un look?” Lucciana asked, already sitting in front of you before you could even fully put your bag down.
You laughed, setting your things aside.
“¿Otra vez?”
She grinned.
“Por favor.”
You leaned closer, gently brushing hair out of her face.
“Pero algo natural, ¿ok? Nada pesado.”
“Sí, sí.”
You grabbed a light product, dabbing a small amount onto your fingers.
“Esto es mejor para tu piel,” you explained.
“Es ligero… no te va a irritar.”
She watched you carefully through the mirror.
“¿Cómo sabes todo esto?”
You smiled.
“Porque yo también pasé por esto.”
“¿También querías maquillarte chiquita?”
You laughed.
“Obvio.”
By the time you finished, she was staring at herself like she had just unlocked a new version of herself.
“Me veo grande,” she whispered.
You softened.
“Te ves bonita.”
She immediately hugged you.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁
Across the house
“¡No quiero!”
Guillermo was already halfway into a tantrum.
You crossed your arms, unimpressed.
“Ok.”
He blinked.
That wasn’t the reaction he expected.
You grabbed the remote slowly.
“Entonces no vemos Blue Lock.”
Silence.
“…sí quiero.”
You smirked.
“Eso pensé.”
Within seconds, he was glued to the screen next to you.
“Ese es el mejor,” he said, pointing.
You shook your head.
“No, estás mal.”
“¡No!”
“Sí.”
“¡No!”
You laughed as he got more passionate about it than necessary.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁
Later that night, when everything had finally quieted down, you didn’t even realize when you fell asleep.
Guillermo was curled into your side, one of your arms loosely around him, Blue Lock still playing softly in the background.
When Memo walked in, he paused.
Pulled out his phone.
Recorded for a few seconds.
“Esto sí es paz,” he whispered to the camera.
He didn’t wake you.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁
Karla took more patience.
You found her sitting quietly one afternoon, her tea set neatly arranged.
You sat down across from her.
“¿Puedo jugar?”
She hesitated.
Then gave a small nod.
You carefully picked up one of the tiny cups.
“Gracias por invitarme,” you said seriously.
That earned the smallest smile.
And from there… she slowly opened up.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁
Then came New York.
Memo had asked if you could travel with them, mostly because you spoke English fluently—but also because, by now, the kids refused to stay with anyone else.
The trip quickly turned into chaos… the good kind.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁
Sephora was overwhelming for everyone except you.
Lucciana held onto your sleeve as you walked through the aisles.
“¿Cuál es bueno?”
You crouched down, scanning products before picking one up.
“Este.”
Memo appeared beside you, already recording.
“Explícale,” he said, pointing the camera toward you.
You glanced at it, then back at Luciana.
“Es un hidratante ligero,” you explained.
“No es agresivo, es mejor para piel joven.”
Memo leaned in slightly.
“¿Y qué hace eso?”
You smiled.
“Hidrata.”
“Ah.”
He nodded like he understood.
He didn’t.
Lucciana looked between both of you.
“¿Lo compramos?”
“Sí,” you said.
“Sí,” Memo repeated, still confused.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁
At a restaurant later that night, Guillermo had your phone propped up, Blue Lock playing again.
You leaned into the frame of Memo’s video, waving quickly before turning back to the screen.
“¿Qué están viendo?” Memo asked.
“Blue Lock,” Guillermo answered proudly.
“¿Qué es eso?”
You glanced up.
“Es un anime.”
Memo raised a brow.
“¿Como esas caricaturas que ve el Hormiga?”
You immediately shook your head.
“No es caricatura.”
He smirked.
“¿Entonces eres otaku como el Hormiga?”
“¡No!” you said instantly.
Memo laughed, shaking his head as he recorded.
“Voy a subir esto,” he teased.
“Memo, no,” you laughed.
Of course, he did it anyway.
A few minutes later, while everyone was still eating, Memo’s phone buzzed with a notification.
He looked down and smiled.
“El Hormiga ya vio el video.”
You immediately looked over.
“¿Qué dijo?”
Memo turned the phone around.
Armando had replied to the post.
“JAJAJA sabía que era otaku escondida.”
You rolled your eyes.
“No soy otaku.”
Memo laughed.
“Eso mismo dijiste hace rato.”
Before you could respond, another notification popped up.
“Y aparte viendo Blue Lock… pensé que mínimo ibas a aceptar que es bueno.”
You grabbed the phone.
“¡Pero si nunca dije que no me gusta!”
Memo watched as you started typing back.
“Me gusta, pero no significa que sea otaku 😭”
Armando replied almost instantly.
“Ajá… dile eso al que sabe todos los nombres de los personajes.”
You looked up, offended.
“¿Ves? Siempre hace eso.”
Guillermo laughed from across the table.
“Creo que sí te conoce.”
Memo just smiled, watching the two of you argue through the comments like always.
“Son iguales,” he said.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁
The anime store?
That was your downfall.
Memo spotted it first, already recording again.
“¿Quieres entrar?” he asked, knowing the answer.
“Obvio.”
You were already inside before he finished the sentence.
Then
You froze.
“¡ES ACE!”
You rushed toward the life-sized figure, eyes wide.
“¡Mira, mira—es Portgas D. Ace!”
Memo walked up slowly, filming your reaction.
“¿Quién es ese?”
You turned to him, genuinely offended.
“¿Cómo que quién es? Es Ace. De One Piece.”
“Ah…”
“Es uno de los mejores personajes.”
Memo chuckled.
“Se nota.”
.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁
Then you noticed the sections.
And that’s when things got worse.
For him.
Better for you.
“Espérate—toma fotos.”
You dragged him to the One Piece section first.
You grabbed a manga, flipping it open quickly until you found the page with Mr.9.
Holding it up with one hand, you raised your pinky with the other, striking the pose.
“Listo.”
Snap.
Next—
Soul Eater.
You immediately pointed at Memo.
“Tú vas primero.”
Memo looked confused.
“¿Yo?”
“Sí, ven.”
You moved him into position, making him stand in front while you and Lucciana stood behind him on each side.
“Quédate ahí.”
Memo looked around, already questioning everything.
“¿Y ahora qué?”
You grabbed Lucciana’s hands and lifted them above Memo’s head, recreating the playful pose from the anime.
“Así. Como hermanas.”
Lucciana immediately followed along, smiling while Memo stayed in the middle with his usual confused expression.
“No entiendo nada,” he admitted.
You laughed.
“Solo confía.”
Snap.
Memo stared at the phone afterward, still trying to figure out how he became the center of an anime recreation.
Then—
Naruto.
You stepped forward, quickly forming the tora hand sign.
Snap.
And finally
Blue Lock.
“Guillermo, ven.”
He ran over immediately.
You both held up manga volumes, standing side by side.
“Sonríe.”
Snap.
Memo lowered the phone slightly, shaking his head with a smile.
“ Todavía no entiendo nada… pero está bueno.”
.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁
You posted the pictures later that night.
A whole carousel.
First slide—
You and the Ace figure, your face completely serious like meeting him was an important life event.
Second—
The Mr.9 pinky up pose.
Third—
You and Lucciana doing the Soul Eater pose while Memo stood there looking completely lost.
Fourth—
The Naruto Tora hand sign.
And finally—
You and Guillermo holding up Blue Lock manga like you had just recruited him into the fandom.
The caption was simple.
“Forever that weird kid.💗”
You tagged Memo.
A few minutes later
Guillermo Ochoa reposted your story.
Not just the pictures.
The entire process.
The video of you dragging him around the store.
The moment you screamed when you saw Ace.
The confused look on his face when you explained every character.
His caption:
“Todavía no entiendo nada, pero me divertí 😂”
You laughed when you saw it.
But Memo wasn’t done.
He reposted one more story.
This time, it was the video of you explaining everything to him while he looked completely lost.
And he tagged one person.
@hormiga_glez
With the caption:
“Necesito que veas lo que me hizo aprender hoy 😂”
You had no idea he tagged him.
You were too busy laughing at the fact that Memo had actually posted the whole experience.
Meanwhile—
Hormiga opened the story.
At first, he had no idea what he was watching.
Then he saw you excitedly pointing at the manga and explaining something while Memo just nodded along.
He stared for a second.
Then laughed.
Because seeing Memo — someone who had probably never cared about anime before — being dragged through an entire anime store was something he never expected.
He replied to Memo’s story:
“JAJAJA ¿qué pasó aquí?”
Memo answered:
“Me secuestraron en una tienda de anime.”
Hormiga laughed at the response.
“¿Y sobreviviste?”
Memo sent back:
“Más o menos.”
Another message came.
“Pero acepto que la foto de Blue Lock quedó buena.”
Hormiga looked back at the picture.
The one of you and Guillermo holding up the manga with matching excitement.
He smiled slightly.
“Ok… esa sí quedó buena.”
And that was it.
A simple funny interaction.
Not knowing that this random anime store trip would be the first time he finally noticed you.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁
Back at the hotel, things finally slowed down.
You were back in your room, hair still damp from the shower, wearing an oversized Gachiakuta shirt while brushing your hair in front of the mirror.
After spending the whole day walking around, shopping, and getting to show Memo the beauty of anime, you were finally getting a moment to relax.
Then—
Knock. Knock.
You stopped brushing your hair.
Before you even reached the door, you heard the voice outside.
“¡Ábreme! Sé que estás ahí.”
You immediately recognized it.
Memo.
And judging by the little laughs you heard behind him…
He was recording.
Of course.
You opened the door and immediately saw Memo standing there with his phone up, Lucciana recording beside him.
In Memo’s hands were coloring pages and a handful of markers.
He looked completely serious.
“Te traje tarea.”
You stared at him.
Then looked at the coloring pages.
Then back at him.
You burst out laughing.
“¿Tarea?”
Memo nodded.
“Sí. Muy importante.”
“¿Me estás dando dibujos para colorear?”
“Exacto.”
Lucciana laughed behind the camera.
“Es para que no te aburras.”
You shook your head, smiling.
“Ustedes están locos.”
Memo was about to respond when his eyes moved down to your shirt.
He paused.
Then looked back at you.
“No me digas…”
You already knew where this was going.
“¿Qué?”
“¿Eso es un anime?”
You looked down at your shirt.
“Duhh”
Then you looked back at him.
“¿Y qué?”
Memo immediately started laughing.
“No puede ser.”
“¿Qué?”
“¿Lo compraste con el otaku de Hormiga?”
You looked at him, offended.
“No. No lo compré con él. Yo lo compré.”
Memo laughed even harder.
“Ya no puedes seguir negándolo.”
“¿Negar qué?”
“Que eres otaku.”
“No soy otaku, me acabo de bañar”
Memo looked at the anime shirt.
Then at you.
Then at the coloring pages in his hand.
“Claro que no.”
You rolled your eyes.
“Vete.”
Memo laughed as he walked away.
“¡Haz tu tarea!”
You closed the door still laughing.
.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁
Later that night, you were lying on your bed, scrolling through your phone when a notification appeared.
@hormiga_glez had followed you.
You blinked.
For a second, you thought it was just another random account.
Then you saw the verified badge.
You sat up slightly.
Before you could overthink it, another notification appeared.
@hormiga_glez sent you a message.
You opened it.
“JAJA, así que era verdad.”
You frowned.
You typed back.
“¿Qué cosa?”
A few seconds passed.
“Que Memo no estaba exagerando. Sí eres fan de anime.”
You smiled slightly.
“Memo exagera todo.”
The reply came quickly.
“Eso sí lo creo.”
You laughed quietly.
“Entonces, ¿por qué me escribiste? ¿Para confirmar si soy otaku?”
There was a small pause.
“Tal vez.”
You raised an eyebrow.
“¿Tal vez?”
“También porque vi la historia de Memo y me dio curiosidad.”
You looked at the message.
Curiosity.
Not exactly what you expected.
“¿Curiosidad por qué?”
Another pause.
“Porque nunca pensé ver a Memo entrando a una tienda de anime y saliendo con un manga.”
You laughed.
“Créeme, yo tampoco pensé que iba a pasar.”
“¿Y cuál fue tu favorito?”
You smiled.
Finally, a normal conversation.
“Depends. ¿Hablamos de anime o manga?”
“Manga.”
You started explaining your favorites, and surprisingly, he actually listened. He asked questions, joked about Memo’s lack of anime knowledge, and admitted that he only knew some shows because of friends.
It wasn’t anything dramatic.
Just two people talking.
But by the time the conversation slowed down, you realized you had been smiling at your phone for longer than expected.
“Bueno, ya es tarde.”
“Sí, tienes razón.”
A few seconds passed.
“Buenas noches.”
You smiled.
“Buenas noches.”
.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖.𖥔 ݁
The next day, everyone decided to take a break from shopping.
Instead, they went to a small local café.
While Memo and his wife went to order, you sat with the kids at a table.
The wait was taking longer than expected, so you opened TikTok.
Immediately
An edit of La Hormiga appeared.
Then another.
Then another.
You stared at your screen.
“¿En serio?”
The algorithm had decided today was going to be about him.
Some were normal football edits.
Others were funny edits.
Then one appeared.
A Brian x Hormiga edit.
You laughed.
The comments were even funnier.
The sun was getting higher, making it harder to see your phone screen.
You squinted, trying to look at the TikTok edit again, zooming in.
That was when you heard it.
A laugh.
Not from the video.
You froze.
Slowly, you looked up.
Memo was standing there, phone already recording, trying not to laugh.
Your eyes widened.
“No.”
Memo immediately started laughing.
“¡No puede ser!”
You quickly locked your phone and put it down.
“Borra eso.”
“¿Por qué?”
“Porque estás grabando cosas que no son tuyas.”
Memo looked at the camera, then back at you.
“Solo estoy grabando que ayer dijiste que no eras otaku.”
You narrowed your eyes.
“Porque no soy otaku.”
Memo pointed at your phone.
“¿Entonces qué era eso?”
“Un TikTok.”
“De Hormiga.”
You paused.
Memo raised his eyebrows.
“Ah.”
You looked away.
“No empieces.”
He sat down across from you, still smiling.
“¿Qué? ¿Ahora resulta que también eres fan de Hormiga?”
“No.”
“¿No?”
“No.”
Memo looked at you suspiciously.
“Entonces, ¿por qué estabas viendo edits de él?”
You shrugged.
“Porque me salieron.”
“Claro.”
“Es verdad.”
“Ajá.”
You rolled your eyes.
“Además, ni siquiera es como si hablara con él.”
The second the words left your mouth, you realized your mistake.
Memo stopped smiling.
“¿Cómo que hablaste con él?”
You froze.
“...”
He lowered his phone slightly.
“Espera. ¿Qué?”
You tried to play it off.
“Nada.”
“No, no. Acabas de decir que hablaste con él.”
You looked away.
“No fue nada importante.”
Memo’s expression changed completely.
The teasing disappeared.
“¿Cuándo?”
You hesitated.
“Ayer en la noche.”
“¿En la noche?”
“Sí.”
“¿Como?”
Memo leaned forward slightly.
“¿Por mensaje?”
You nodded.
“Me siguió y me mandó mensaje.”
For a moment, Memo didn’t say anything.
Not because he was angry.
More because he was surprised.
“¿Y de qué hablaron?”
You shrugged.
“De anime.”
Memo blinked.
“¿De anime?”
You laughed a little.
“Sí. Literalmente de anime.”
He looked at you for a second, processing it.
Then he glanced at your phone.
“¿Y cuánto hablaron?”
You smiled slightly.
“No sé. Un rato.”
Memo leaned back.
“Vaya.”
“¿Que?”
He shook his head, half amused.
“Nada. Solo me da risa.”
“¿Qué?”
“Que primero pensé que solo eras fan de anime y ahora resulta que ya tienes conversaciones con Hormiga.”
You rolled your eyes.
“Memo.”
He laughed quietly.
“Está bien, está bien.”
Then he pointed at you.
“Pero ahora entiendo por qué estabas tan concentrada.”
You immediately looked embarrassed.
“No estaba.”
“Sí estabas.”
“Nada más estaba viendo TikTok.”
“De Hormiga.”
You grabbed your drink.
“Cállate.”
Memo laughed again, but this time there was a different look on his face.
Like he was putting pieces together.
“Bueno…”
He lifted his phone again.
“Ahora sí tengo más contexto.”
Your eyes widened.
“No subes eso.”
Memo smiled.
“Ya veremos.”
