As a dad I have experienced all different emotions when it comes to the connection of my children. No one hands you a ‘How To Parent’ instruction book. I walk with children (mostly indigenous) that live in ‘conditional love’ environments (not all, but some). What I do, isn’t a job. Far from it, (as the saying goes), “if you love doing something, you’ll never work again.” More importantly, I have the opportunity to pass on knowledge and strengthen their cultural identities.
