I can only imagine Killian owning a Newfoundland, like think about it a Newfie would be the perfect dog for him. They were actually specifically bred to be in and around the water, they can save people who’ve been knocked overboard and do all sorts of stuff in the water plus Nana the dog from the original Peter Pan story was a Newfoundland so it’s perfect. Plus don’t even lie, the image of Killian sprawled out on the floor with a massive fluffy Newfie lying on top of him just makes sense
