all his suffering is justice for what heâs done - but, the whole time heâs punishing himself, heâs continuing to hurt people. his pain is justice - but what is justice actually worth?
all that horror is only making it worse; sometimes, pain doesnât change you for the better - sometimes it just gets worse. heâs still committing crimes on a massive scale. heâs still serving a tyrannical government. and that overwhelming despair is whatâs actually keeping him there.
justice wonât change anything. the more hurt he is, the more heâs going to hurt other people; you have to break the cycle. promises of revenge and death will not pull vader out of his lonely castle, but kindness will. he may not deserve kindness - but what if, in the future, he could? what if, in the past, he did?
lmaooo i waxed philosophical on you - because no, vader definitely does not deserve it, but luke is going to give his love and compassion anyway. and THATâS what changes things.
Very true, and, I think, the whole point of the âReturn of the Jediâ. The old Jedi philosophy didnât allow for attachments and love, and this is precisely the reason why no Jedi has never been able to find a way back after Falling before - they had no bonds with people who would forgive and cherish them even after the Fall. But Luke is no Jedi, no matter what he calls himself, he is full of attachments, and thus he is capable of the unconditional love that might be the only way out of darkness.

Casual Fridays on the under-construction Death Star are a blast, like - grab your favorite old shirt and a hydrospanner, weâre all going to pitch it on getting this bitch finished on schedule, even the officers! Krennic prefers a rose-and-white plaid pattern, paired with t-shirt and jeans, while Piett is conspicuous in a vivid Hawaiian shirt. At five everybody drops their tools and kicks back in Tarkinâs quarters with a cold one and some classic Steely Dan tunes played from the control panel in Vaderâs chest. Good times!

Vader/Krennic ship name
Okay, so @jynnics and I had this completely mad exchange of messages where we came up with several TERRIBLE ideas for the ship of Darth Vader/Director Krennic. And @dachi-chan25 has added a less terrible idea so I thought why not list them all in case something inspires someone? Iâm still trying to work out how they have the secks.

In our part of the Internet we call them - VedroVenik, which literally means Bucket and Broom) We also have Brandy (for Brendol / Director from BrenDir) And Khren (for Krennic / Hux Jr.) it means âHorseradishâ and âdickâ at once.
We donât think that anyone wanted to know this (and donât offer this as an option), but be aware that you are not alone in loving Krennic XD

Krennic/Luke is an adorable paring... in a creepy, twisted sort of way. Poor Director Krennic hoped to get an adorable, sunny, innocent young boy, and he got an adorable, sunny, innocent young Sith prince who will gift him kittens and then use âjust a ti-i-i-iny bit of strangling, itâs just to keep things exiting, come on, you have such a delectable neck!â And then there is the ballroom scene. And Luke-the-Imperial-poster-boy.

Ok, so here is the thing with Luke - he ran away from the farm and got to the recruitment station, managed to pass the tests and get into the Flight academy like he wanted at the beginning of ANH. For REASONS he doesn't immediately get drafted into the Inquisition and instead manages to become an ace pilot and catch the eye of Director Krennic. Let's say that along with the death troopers Krennic drags around a squadron of TIE-fighter pilots. Luke did inherit his dad's penchant for older, authoritative, kick-ass fighters and doesn't mind at all when Krennic starts paying him special attention. And then Vader, who is supposed to be breathing down Krennic's neck, catches a name of a genius pilot on the roster, and is all like "Hey, Skywalker? Wait, I have a son? You are sleeping with my son? You better make him super happy, or death by asphyxiation will seem merciful to you." And thus a ship with Director and Daddyâs little Sith sails.
