Les Miserables performance on the Oscars!
This was one of the most uncomfortable things I have witnessed on tv. Like it made me really emotionally distressed. Nothing gets me pumped like this freakin song does, no matter how bad the rendition. It could be toddlers singing it, or dogs, or your grandma, or just me in the shower, I don’t care. One Day More is the ULTIMATE BROADWAY SONG
And this is so… I don’t even know what to call this. The arrangement is so forced, their performances varying from Hugh “Gonna give it my A-A-A-A-A-ALL” Jackman to Sacha Baron “I was on the way to the toilet when they informed me I needed to be onstage I guess” Cohen. Russell Crowe’s has all the stage presence of a pubescent 12-year-old who just discovered Broadway last week. Aaron Tveit looks like he wants to punch the entire cast in the face. Everyone’s a little out of sync, the microphones are all screwy and you know what
