Saoirse really loves the little family she made in Bayview, even if she thought she’d always return to Ireland. When she started dating Joe, she felt it was time for them to get out and see more of the world, though, and the both made their way to New York. For a few years, they lived in a blissful honeymoon state. Then things fell apart by pieces. She knew they’d have to end things before they started to hate or resent each other, which was the last thing she wanted with someone she valued so much. They navigated the rocky road of co-parenting as best as they could and eventually Saoirse decided what she really needed was to get out of the hustle and bustle of city life. It was weird returning to Bayview after a few years, but also like coming home. The town and its antique stores and delicious food and cheap yarn shops opened her back with open arms.
