Deportations in June 1941 affected us all. 

This is the fate of family Tammleht, who was from Saaremaa. In 1941 entire family was sentenced to be deported to Siberia - mother Sinaida, father Aleksei and their six children. Ants was the eldest of the children at 18, youngest of them, Heli, was just 10 years old. This is the fate of the children of the Tammleht family: 

Villu - died after escaping resettlement. 1949. 

Lilla - died during resettlement. 1941. 

Heli - was allowed back to Estonia. 17 years of resettlement. 

Oskar - died during resettlement. 1946.

Hugo - was released from resettlement. 1958. 

Ants - died in a prison camp. 1944.

Their father, Aleksei died in a prison camp in 1943. Sinaida, their mother, was allowed back to Estonia after 17 years of resettlement in 1958.
