Last thing she remembers is getting a letter in the mail for a school. Hopes Peak Academy, a well renowned school that taught the biggest and the brughtest students. At first she had assumed it was someone else's that had gotten mixed in with her mail. However, right there on the envelope it was adressed to none other than Yaya Higuchi herself. So, after reading the letter of acceptence, she hoped onto a plain to fly out to the island. It was a bit odd that the school was located on a island, but in a way Yaya was thankful for that. It meant she was far away from her life back home. Away from Seri and Moe, away from the constant harrassment. She was free. She was happy.
Slowly she stepped off the plane and onto the sunny beaches of the school. Honestly, everything about the place was a bit off. The ride there was strangely quiet, the planes at the island didn't look like they were leaving anytime soon. This was all brushed aside when she remembered what she got out of this. It was a fresh start. This time she wouldn't screw up, she would make it right. No bullies, no fear. She was ready and she was...
Lost.
Well wasn't that just like her to be lost. Barely a minute into her artival and she is lost. There was only one thing to do now: check her school map. Only, there were no maps. Great. She plopped down onto the sand and held her knees in. Now what? With no knowledge of her housing she would have no place to live and if she had no place to leave she'd have to sleep on the beach and if she had to sleep on the beach she'd get sand in her mouth and if she got sand in her mouth it was bound to get in her eyes and that would hurt and she'd be cold and and...
Okay, she needed to calm down. That was all ridiculous, right? She would find her room. She had to. All she needed to do was find a teacher or student and ask for directions. Then she would get them, hopefully, and lay down on her bed in her new school. Yeah. That's what she'd do. In the meantime she looked for anyone that looked like they went to the school or taught there. One passed, she called out, they kept going. And then another passed. And another. She looked down. Maybe she wasn't loud enough?
Yaya spotted another person. Okay, this time she'd run up to them. They would have to be able to hear her then. Running up to the stranger she spoke, "Ah! Excuse me...I'm so sorry for interrupting your walk, b-but you see I've been lost for a while now and...and I need directions to the dorms. If you don't mind helping me find my way there I would be forever grateful!!! P-Please, I'm sorry if I bothered you!" She clasped her hands above her head and shut her eyes firmly.
