I am Sazanami, or just Nami, a Silvio and Jude, but first and formost, a Gojo girl. I love writing, drawing and generally creating anything what my hyperactive brain imagines.
You will find here my illustrations and translations for now but later you can get stuff about my game too.
Later I will mostly translate Silvio, but will do other IkePri stuff too, so if you want anything else to be translated, you can write to me.
I am not a pro translator and do this for fun and to practice Japanese, so my translations are maybe not perfect. If you think that I made any error or mistranslated something, you can tell me, I am good with honest critique, just don't be rude or mean.
For now, due personal stuff, I can possibly start translate Silvio/IkePri only from July (Silvio's bday). If I will have anything before that on the blog, there will be an update.

No because what the actual fuck was that decision?
You mean to tell me monthsβif not YEARSβof development.
β¦and your solution was to throw the ENTIRE SIXTH LOVE INTEREST into the trash?
ARE YOU SERIOUS?
I'm not saying people shouldn't have been angry about the 731 reference. They absolutely had every right to be. Unit 731 is one of the darkest chapters in history and if that reference was made carelessly, then yes, people deserved an apology and an explanation.
But explain to me how Valko became the sacrificial lamb here.
Who exactly does this help?
The people who were hurt by the reference? They still deserve accountability.
The people who were excited for Valko? Congratulations, you just told them to go fuck themselves.
The developers who spent who knows how long creating an entirely new LI? Their work gets deleted overnight.
So what was the goal here?
Because this doesn't feel like taking responsibility. It feels like corporate damage control.
Fix the story.
Rewrite the chapter.
Delete the offending reference.
Delay the release.
Fire whoever thought using 731 and 611 was acceptable if you have to.
But deleting an ENTIRE CHARACTER because of a mistake in ONE PART OF THE GAME is such an absurd overreaction that I genuinely can't wrap my head around it.
I'm just so unbelievably disappointed. because Infold's response was somehow even worse than the original mistake.
We lost a character.
The developers lost their work.
The fandom lost something people had been excited about.
What an absolute fucking waste.
Regarding the recent upset in the IkeVil fandom, I want to share something that has helped me approach sensitive topics such as dubcon.
Iβve mentioned on my blog before that I am an SA survivor. We are, most unfortunately, very many, and we are, of course, not the same.Β
What I am sharing below is the analytical approach that helpsΒ me, as a survivor, to interact with certain sensitive scenesΒ as I feel comfortable.Β
ItΒ mayΒ help other survivors, and itΒ mayΒ also be a useful practice for general readers interested in readingΒ anyΒ story beyond the surface level.
IMPORTANT:Β youΒ do not have to doΒ anyΒ of this. Iβm simply sharing what helps me, and whatΒ may possibly help others, survivor or not.
To begin, IΒ always look for dubcon warningsΒ and assess (the whole time) whether or not I feel comfortable continuing to read the scene.Β
Scenes like these are not the place to be a completionist:
If you feel at all uncomfortable, STOP!Β
It is OKAY to tap out inΒ anyΒ route forΒ anyΒ reason, whether youβre reading in the actual app or reading a fan translation.Β
I mean this very broadly, as there areΒ plentyΒ of other themes that readers may find uncomfortableΒ across all of Cybirdβs games, not just IkeVil.Β
Is it possible that you can be okay with dubcon and feel uncomfortable in the middle of reading it? Yupβ so STOP!Β
Please do not force yourself to finish a sentence, or read one more line. The same for if you made it all the way through and still (or start to) feel any upset.
These characters are not real. These situations are not real. WhatΒ youΒ feel is very real, and is more important than any desire to βkeep upβ with what is going on with a LI, or the game, or the fandom, or whatever it may be.
What you have to do is love yourself more than you love otome and STOP when it gets uncomfortable for you.Β
Next, I look for whatΒ the MC themselves say and thinkΒ about the experience.
This tells me more about the interaction than a general CW, as all situations are different depending on the story.Β
I pay close attention to the MCβs internal and spoken dialogue, and how the experience is affectingΒ her.
Is the MC frightened? Is the MC conflicted? Is the MC interested in the LIβs sexual advances in general, but not in this particular situation? Does the MC even consider what is happening toΒ beΒ a sexual advance or straight up an attack on her person? etc.
Iβm looking for what words (if any) she says or thinks.
Some examples:
βI wanted him to touch/kiss me,β βit felt good when,β βI liked,β or actions such as pulling the LI in rather than pushing him away, keeping the LI close to their person during the dubcon instead of defending herself and running for the hills, etc.Β
How the MC is responding internally, verbally, and physically during the dubcon, thatβs whatΒ Iβm interested in beyond just: thereβs dubcon on my screen and I feel xyz about it (which is fine, just not what I do).
Again I ask myself these questions (and others) because not all dubcon situations are the same.
For example, Alfons and Darius are two different characters with two different outlooks, experiences, and motivations behind the dubcon they perpetuate in their routes.Β
Trying to view Darius through the view of Alfonsβ dubcon actions wouldnβt make sense, and vice versa. What Darius does may not bother you, but you might have a problem with what Alfons does, and vice versa.Β
WhatΒ IβmΒ looking for is why isΒ thisΒ character inΒ thisΒ specific story is doingΒ theseΒ actions.Β
Then I go back and do the same internal and spoken analysis for the LI.Β
I do this because itβs important FOR ME to understand the intent of the whole picture.
Then, I read the scene again, normally.Β
If youβre just starting out with reading analytically, this may seem dumb and time consuming.Β
Again, youΒ do notΒ have to doΒ anyΒ of thisΒ at all.
Once you learn (or continue to grow) how to analyze what youβre reading, it becomes second nature and youβll start by do it automatically.
Also, please keep in mind that there are many other techniques, and this is not an exhaustive list for how to read analytically. Just some of the things I do, for myself, to achieve a deeper understanding.
Interacting with what you read in this manner can help you understand the intent behind what is going on in a story beyond what the words on the screen say.
Think of it as the text version of how you interact with people in real life:
Thereβs what someone says, what someone does, and the intent/motivation behind the connection (or disconnection) to both of those things.
Your brain processes these things and your intuition kicks in to help guide your actions, emotions, and decisions surrounding such interactions with other people.
Analytical reading does the same thing, just on paper or a screen.
Finally, for the nine millionth time, this approach is how I was trained to read from a young age and as such Iβve found it extemely helpfulΒ to meΒ regardless of whether or not I was reading fiction or non-fiction (to exclude, of course, strictly scientific or medical research, etc.)
I share this technique in the hopes that it may help even one person who is unsure of how to interact with reading sensitive topics or someone interested in learning more about characters beyond what the words on the screen say.
There are the words in the screen, and there are the motivations, thoughts, and feelings in-between those lines that are so easy to miss (even outside of sensitive topics) when one simply takes the story for beingΒ onlyΒ in the text.
As always, be kind to yourselfΒ first, and remember to extend that to others as often as you can.Β
Keep first and foremost in your mind that these characters are not real, the situations are not real, and that you owe it to yourself to scrape off your plate as much crap as you can.
If playing otome helps you decompress, but something youβre reading is stressing you outβ bail.Β
NOΒ youΒ donβtΒ need to finish that sentence, that chapter, or that route.
YESΒ youΒ canΒ just press Skip from start to finish.
NOΒ thatΒ does notΒ mean that youβre not a βtrueβ fan.
YESΒ youΒ can, andΒ should, play how you want to play.
If you checked my pinned introduction, you might remember that I am working on a game. Well, that still needs a very lot of work, however... The other project I am working on, my first light novel, will be available to read on Royal Road soon!
So let me introduce...
When shades appear in the middle of her fashion event, Maya Akayama has no choice but fight, to protect everyone, breaking the contract which gave her sanctuary and stepping back to the life which she left 4 years ago.

i donβt like that i have to make this, but since user hot3hothot is actively ignoring and by extension refusing my simple request to edit their own post to credit me when they use my translations, and apparently canβt afford 10 seconds to be a semblance of a semi-decent human being, i will be the one to say this in their stead:
all the translation screenshots hot3hothot used in their post toward darius (tw for suitor hate) is my translation, kurishiri.
i ask that you do not interpret this post as approval to send hate or unnecessary attention to the poster. i understand darius and his story is not made for everyone. i mostly made this since i donβt want to just let that post remain uncredited, when i spent considerable time and effort in translating dariusβ main story. so just, if you could help spread the word of this and make it more actively known that i am the translator theyβre taking screenshots of, that would mean a lot to me!
finally, to end things in a more positive noteβ to everyone who commented in my defense and supported me, i genuinely appreciate it. thank you! iβm sorry i donβt reply; the whole thing left me pretty frazzled.. and i donβt know what to say a lot. i donβt use twitter way too often, but it seems word of this has also spread a bit to there as well. no matter the platform, it is thanks to your support that i feel i can keep my motivation! i adore the comments on his main story (among others of course). and also, to the regular commenters, i see you. i always look forward to seeing what youβll say and you guys give me so much motivation. i really donβt know how i can express the amount of appreciation in words, but thank you.

Thank you so, so much for letting me used your translations for this part.β¨β¨(>Ο<) Always love your work to death γΎ(q>οΉ<q)οΎοΎβ§*γ
Here more scenes of Jude and Kate. Pardon me it took way long to finish, plus I reduced shots from 10 panels to 5 panels (cuz I was dying to draw Jude's laugh, I'd afraid I couldn't convey properly in the drawing.
qοΎ(οΎΒ΄Πο½οΎ)οΎο½‘
Anyway, I noticed that I keep drawing Kate got pinned by suitors hahaha, but that because my favorite part was there (οΎΒ΄βο½*) Also, gonna admit, I'm not good at drawing men's anatomy, so if Jude looks weird here, I'm sorry (Β΄γ»Ογ»ο½) Also, I hate how inconsistent my color of Jude's black strokes hair (=o=;)
I really planned my morning differently but it is just making my hands so itchy that I have to write it out of myself...
I am really fed up with this toxic character hating. Not just toxic but so stupid and childish. You not like a li? Don't play his events, don't read his route. Don't search stuff about him. Nobody forces you. You can hate him, there is no problem with it. We have all different tastes. You can even rant about how awful he is and how much you dislike him. But...
Don't tag the world. Don't be rude. Think at others too.
Just because a character is not your cup of tea, it not means that others can not like them. How would you feel if someone would constantly loud hate your oshi?
A li is really morally grey? So what? (Mostly in a villain game, come on...) Have you ever read dark romance books? Do you know how many dark romance male mcs do really bad things? Let's not dive into it too deep because as it is in the name 'dark'...
It is not for everyone. As nor every character and we should respect each others' taste. Not to mention that you don't know why someone likes a darker character, if maybe someone is not coping with a trauma and reads darker stuff because of that.
Not to mention, those who wrote the different characters and routes worked hard to create a good game for us and to we have a wide range of characters. We should be happy and thankful that everybody can find their cup of tea and the character we not like... We not have to read their route and events. (I don't believe that I say it again but it seems that so many people not get it.)
My point, you can hate lis but don't drag the world into your personal opinion without asking. Just don't do stupid drama (or face the consequences if you get karma with pissing people).
In this blog no hate will be tolerated, tell your opinion but stay polite and don't hurt others.
Ok, end of rant, now I go back to write, I finally want to publish HD next week. Have a fun and a peaceful day!

Friendly reminder to all of you out there - while it's okay to dislike a suitor, it's never okay to post hate about a suitor IN HIS TAGS. I know not every suitor is for everyone, but your ick is someone's love. And no one wants to scroll through Tumblr and find hate spewed in his tags.
Here's an idea - the next time you read a route or an event, and a suitor does something that turns your stomach, keep the hateful thoughts to yourself.
Oh...and if your screenshot portions of someone's translations, even if you're doing so with good intentions, please please please credit the translators. Their hard work should not be stolen like that.
