So our dear Gil disappears for a month without a trace, leaving Emma anxious. When he finally shows up, he acts nonchalant about the situation, so Emma got mad and decided not to talk to him because he didn't feel the slightest bit guilty about leaving her alone, even though he promised not to.
He needed to come up with a plan, so him being a genius, he handcuffed himself to Emma's bedside table ( ﾟーﾟ) in her own room in the castle ( ﾟーﾟ) so he wouldn't run away ( ﾟーﾟ).
Emma had to feed him, read him a book, and do his paperwork because he kept saying, "I can't use my hands~"
Emma was still angry. She doesn't know how to make him stay with her and not disappear like that. She was so worried, but she thought he didn't feel remorseful since he was acting like his usual self.
She was wrong.
While drying his damp hair, he peeked at her face and noticed her dark circles. The moment he asked her about them, Emma realized something.
He never looked properly at her face; he was averting his gaze. He was feeling guilty the whole time.
Still handcuffed, Emma told him about this realization.
Then —
He also realized something. 😳
He was now controlled by Emma. Her mood affected the way he reacted.
