One-of-a-Kind Garment

Crewel: Be quiet. Today, I'll be sharing a story about a lady who was known as the Visionary of Unwavering Conviction.

Crewel: To remain true to her standards, she refused any and all compromises.

Crewel: I wholeheartedly empathize with how she spared no effort to create a single, gorgeously exquisite coat.

Crewel: I also meticulously selected the design, fabric, and stitching for this custom-made coat.

Crewel: To have a one-of-a-kind garment made with uncompromising conviction… For fashionistas, that is an everlasting aspiration.

Wind Rushing All Around

Crewel: The Visionary of Unwavering Conviction had strong preferences when it came to what she kept on her person, as well as her car.

Crewel: There's a well-known story of how she would drive around in an utterly sleep and luxurious sports car.

Crewel: I also have a fondness for cars, and love to take drives with my beloved dogs.

Crewel: Racing down the road with the wind rushing all around is a wonderful way to break the monotony. And my dogs seem to enjoy it as well.

Crewel: We often go to visit large parks. Everyone just loves to play frisbee there.

Start With "Stay"

Crewel: The Visionary of Unwavering Conviction also would never forget to look out for those around her.

Crewel: There are even stories of how she would frequently call upon her married friends who were struggling to make ends meet.

Crewel: Perhaps it was because she possessed such natural virtuousness that she was successful in life.

Crewel: Compared to her, when it comes to all these bad dogs who just keep barking so selfishly…

Crewel: I'll just have to discipline them all thoroughly. We'll start with "stay", and work on them little by little.

A Good Scolding

Crewel: …Whew. I'll be quite busy this weekend, I don't think I'll be able to head back to my home in the Queendom of Roses.

Crowley: Oh no, will your puppies be alright without you to look in on them?

Crewel: The louder these mongrels bark, the more enjoyment I get out of taming them thoroughly.

It Was Our Destiny to Meet

Crewel: Apparently, the Princess Raised by Fae once reunited with someone she had initially met in her dreams.

Vargas: That's one of those mysterious twists of fate, ain't it? It's a good tale… Really inspiring.

Crewel: You think so? Sounds like an unremarkable clichéd pick-up line to me.

Vargas: You don't have a romantic bone in your body, Crewel-sensei. Who knows, a sudden fateful encounter may come to you one day as well.

Crewel: Well, of course I know how that would feel. It happened to me the first time I met them…

Crewel: I fully believed it was our destiny to meet, and that I would do anything to make them mine.

Vargas: You mean…

Crewel: I'm talking about my dog, of course.

Vargas: That shocked me… Right, I knew that! Hahaha!

The Duty of Us Professors

Crewel: It's not without its difficulties, but I do enjoy seeing the growth of the pups I've rigorously trained up.

Crowley: Well of course, I'm more than satisfied～! I'm just so very delighted to see the dazzling smiles of all the hardworking students!

Crewel: ………I see, that's nice, I suppose.

Crowley: What is that supposed to mean? It's only natural, isn't it? After all, I am so very kind!

Crewel: As an alum, I just couldn't help but suspect there was a hidden meaning behind those words.

When I Looked More Carefully…

Crowley: Trein-sensei, please listen to this! The other day, I had a very terrifying encounter.

Trein: A terrifying encounter? On our campus?

Crowley: Yes. I was walking the hallways at night when I heard a voice come from somewhere… I turned around, and saw a terrifying monster!

Crowley: I was so startled, I leapt back. But then, when I looked more carefully…

Crowley: It was no monster, but the angry face of a portrait hanging in the hallway!

Crowley: Though he was usually such a calm gentleman, but his countenance looked to be of 1000 years of anger moulded into one…

Crowley: They say the Beautiful Queen had transformed herself into a crone once. That's basically how different he looked from his usual self.

Trein: A disaster, to be sure. And so, why was this portrait angry?

Crowley: He complained about how the area where he hangs was cleaned so sloppily.

Crowley: My, my～ It seems my attempts to cut cleaning costs because it was such an out-of-the-way spot got utterly uncovered…

The Importance of Being Prepared

Crowley: It seems many students have taken to neglecting their prep work and class reviews.

Crowley: Perhaps I should touch on the importance of being prepared in the next school assembly speech.

Crowley: Even the King of Beasts would always remind the hyenas to be prepared.

Vargas: A good point. If only the students would listen to what you have to say, just like those hyenas.

Crowley: That's the problem. They only ever yawn at what I have to say.

Crowley: Hmmm… What can I do to get them to focus on my speeches just a little bit better?

Vargas: If that's the case, then I have a brilliant idea to grab the students' attention.

Vargas: While you give the speech, I'll stand next to you and allow them to gaze upon and admire my spectacular muscles!

Uhhhh... All I have so far is a very VERY messy sketch, but I can show you this old Leyendecker study (again) I've never finished and probably never will:'D

Translation (top): skin base colour -> blush/cheek shading -> shadows -> eye makeup -> highlights

Translation (bottom): eye whites -> eyelash shadows -> eye base colours -> add shadows to the top of the irises -> add more details

Translation: gradients -> add shadows -> add highlights
