I got sucked into the Dinluke fandom quickly after season 2 of Mando ended, around Jan 2020 and I’ve been reading pretty steadily ever since.
So I’ve read a LOT of dinluke fanfiction, and I figured I would put together a rec list! Especially because, while a few on here are super well known, I don’t see a ton of talk or recs about some of my absolute favorites.
Now, this fandom exploded, so there are more fics than I can read, my TBR list has gotten pretty long. There are certainly fics that are amazing that I have not read, and this list is not all-inclusive.

Can someone please explain to me what the 'Darkside' means in the Jedi world?
Is it simply a good/bad, evil/not evil thing ?
Eg. Anakin slaughtered the Tuskins that was bad/evil, therefore it's the darkside actions. His mother was already dead, killing more people won't bring his mother back.
But what about Grogu trying to chock Cara Dune? Using the force to protect the loved ones what's wrong with that?
Why can't Grogu be a Jedi because he loves Din?
What's wrong with having attachments? Why having all the power but can't even protect the ones you love?

Here is why I think Luke decided to let go of Grogu and why it made sense:
1. Grogu already had enough defensive skills training (force dodging, blocking, pest controlling etc). His problem was lack of practice and clouded memories, which Luke helped fixing, or at least the marority of it.
2. Grogu is strong with the force and he knows how to attack (force chock). He is too young to train with the light Saber anyway.
3. Asoka's influence - follow your heart Luke. The heart tells him that Grogu is inseparable from his dad.
4.Grogu will extinct all the frog species on the planet and he stinks.
Din: Seriously? You flew my son all the way, alone in a Xwing with a Droid?
Luke: 🙄🙄...there wasn't enough space for me in the cockpit.
Din: Sighs... fine. I'll do the school drop offs from now on.

Grogu must choose his dad's shiny gift because Disney needs to sell new Grogu toys wearing the new outfit (underneath)🤔 I have spoken.
Am I the only one sense that Grogu does not seem to be as happy in the jedi school as he's with his dad? You know, as a huge adrenalin junkie, Grogu didn't make any excited sounds while force 'flying' with Luke, comparing with the adrenalin high Grogu we saw in Dins ship. And,he gave up his frog when Luke caught him. So, Grogu sees Luke as a teacher who he obeys and respects, but Din is dad, a fam, whom he can be his true self in front of. As young as Grogu is, there's difference and I felt it. 🤔

Mother fker I've been ok without seeing Grogu, or his hot dad or his sexy teacher for this long. That bloody two episodes just reminded me how much I love them but now I have to wait ✋️...

I swear when I first saw this Luke I didn't think he was a deepfake. I thought this was some new actor that looked like him, but not exactly like him (which got me excited cause...). Not Sébastien Stan for sure but not the same deepfake Luke we saw in the Mandalorian S2 finale either.
I have a feeling that Luke wasn't really going to just NOT teach Grogu if he chose the armor.
This was to test how much Grogu was attached to Din.
He will return Grogu back to Din, after teaching/reminding his of survival Jedi skills.
Plus, Grogu has the armor and his dad. HE WILL BE SAFE, AND HAPPY.
