I do headcanon that V1’s plating releases some sort of oil to cover its plating and block out anything that is not blood, such as water. But! I am sure it can make an exception for Gabriel because they are inlove.

Oiled up V1… I see, I see. Personally, however, since blood is aqueous I would think the nature of V1’s plating would absorb other watery substances but it wouldn’t quite hold onto it? Maybe it has something that binds to the hemoglobin? So in Wrath it would absorb all of the salt water (since blood is DIY salt water) but only latch onto blood. Which means that I think it would absorb Gabriel’s piss but not necessarily use it as fuel. But they are also In Love so anything is possible.

jumping in to be annoying and say i headcannon it absorbing all sorts of garbage, and that it prolly has a waste collection system/some sort of sorting apparatus that kind of just collects waste fuel (hell blood HAS to be contaminated with vile shit) since its got all that blood maybe it has organs but i like to imagine it pisses crazy since thats how humans eliminate liquid waste from their kidneys and stuff (i wrote a fic about this because im normal)
