Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur Issues #9-11 🌙

this comic has made me feel so paternal towards Lunette and Devil Dinosaur they are so cutesy. it's so interesting seeing preteen heroes as well, especially seeing Kamala as an older mentor figure instead of her usual coming of age story. Kamala is also so cutesy in this art style, i enjoyed how much she imparted care about civilians and responsibility :")) its so lovely to see a younger hero look up to Kamala as well, much like how Kamala talked to older established heroes

Nova (2016) Issues #3-4 🚀

first time reading a Nova issue as part of my Ms Marvel reading list! the art in here and panelling is so gorgeous and pleasing to read i might read Nova's stuff later on. his daddy issues go crazy

Ms Marvel (2016) Issues #1-6 ⚡️

Kamala overworking herself hits a cord with me and I enjoy her good friendships with the hero adults in her life. and the family relations are still written brilliantly.

the friction with Nakia does make me sad though... just tell her. if Bruno and your mom can know so can Nakia. both Kamala and Nakia want to protect the people of Jersey it's perfect, and it seems Nakia has the trust of the people already based on her community leadership and organisationsl skills with them, which could really be a cool angle if they collaborate with each other!

All-New, All-Different Avengers (2015) Issues #0-6 ✪

love seeing Kamala as part of a team... though I do feel out of depth with some of the non-Champions characters so I did so some light Wikipedia reading. glad to see Kamala is an RPF warrior even after becoming coworkers with these heroes.

her banter with Nova is soooo funny and his immediate crush on her is frying me. everyone wants Kamala. fair enough she's a cutie. and the first instances of Kamiles.... let's go.... Miles' banter with the adults is fun! so far I enjoy the writing here

Ms Marvel (2014) Issues #12-19 ⚡️

the end of the 2014 run i believe! super interesting... one of the biggest strengths of this story is how real the writer and the artist make the characters feel. Kamala feels like an actual teenager and i hope she finds a good love interest eventually...... that she likes back..... but it makes sense that her preoccupation with saving people will pull her away from more typical teenage worries like love. anyways as a whole she's sooo cutesy that's my daughter. I've been enjoying seeing her get to grips with the power and responsibility she holds. i also love thw parts where her faith intersects with her heroism!

didn't take many screenshots, but the team up with Carol Danvers was great, and I liked seeing them work together... maybe meeting your heroes is okay sometimes, and it feels like she needed that, especially as a solo Jersey hero she does feel alone.

her mom here feels like my mom... taking notice of things more than my dad included... and i love that she's supportive (semi-similar to my mom too). for context i am a queer child in a muslim family (although i am not religious unlike Kamala) and I did hide it from them for so long (much like a secret identity bahaha) but my mom took notice and showed some signs of support. even when she can't understand it. Kamala's experience is not 100% reflective of mine but i do feel a sense of kinship in this regard :)

The Amazing Spider-Man (2014) Issues #7-8 🕷

Nothing much here because it's a short appearance but super cute!! it's nice to see kamala with a bantering experienced mentor. reminded me of my love for peter parker ngl what a guy

Ms Marvel (2014) Issues #6-11 ⚡️

most of these screenshots were times i found Kamala cutesy......

but on a serious note i enjoyed the Wolverine team up and I'd like to see more of Kamala being mentored, she is a legacy character after all (i think). the inventor arc was interesting and i see what they're getting at i'm just confused on the specific themes. i really enjoyed lockjaw though what a cutie. i am getting stressed for Kamala though as her hero stuff intensifies

I also want to know more about her origins like which ancestor was experimented on?? how do inhumans work? are there other inhumans on her family?

I really enjoy how real Kamala feels.... she reminds me of my friends when I was a teenager. Her geekiness is endearing as well #miss_her
