leona doesn’t really change when you two start dating. he’s still the lazy, sarcastic asshole that everyone else knows him as

while he doesn’t have an major changes, you notice the small things—his words don’t bite nearly as hard as they used to, he actually tries to make an effort for you

similar to riddle, he prefers the quiet moments he gets with you. 90% of the time you spend together is in his bed napping

you genuinely do not understand how a person can sleep this much.

once leona grows more comfortable, he’ll start grooming you like a cat does to their loved ones. he does it unconsciously most of the time, but sometimes does it to see you laugh because of how rough his tongue is—it slightly tickles you.

he opens up about his home and why he doesn’t want to bring you around his family

but it doesn’t last long, as when cheka visits and finds that he has a lover, you instantly become auntie/unca. it bothers leona every single time, but you love cheka to death

it’s hinted at that he has depression—you’re like a lifeline to him

anytime you’re watching him play Spelldrive, whether it’s practice or a game, he puts in more effort than usual. he’s gotta show off

he may be second place in everything else, but he’s number one in your heart—and to him, that’s the best thing he could have

Azul Ashengrotto 🐙

surprisingly enough, no contract was made between the two of you (the tweels were shocked)

azul keeps his intellectual front up around you, without letting any cracks appear in the foundation

but it’s so that you don’t see how terrified and insecure he is underneath.

he starts eating less and tries to work out more—you notice this, and immediately talk to him about it

he opens up, thought reluctantly, about his childhood. and to his surprise, you don’t judge him or anything of the sort

you assure him that he’s perfect the way he is. that he’ll always be perfect, no matter what he looks like or what his social status is. he breaks down and cries in your arms, but you know that he’ll stop hurting himself

you help him run the mostro lounge, and he lets you get snacks and drinks for free—not even the tweels get that

after a long day, he always collapses against you, and half the time you fall asleep together while sitting on one of the lounges plush couches

azul finds comfort in you, something he’s not used to. he doesn’t feel the need to be perfect in any aspect, because he knows you’ll love him no matter what

kalim is already a walking ball of energy and positivity. but when you two start dating, somehow it gets worse. as in, jamil is close to strangling him half the time (not actually but yk)

kalim always makes sure that you’re satisfied. say you’re hungry? he has a whole feast for you in five minutes. bored? why not have a party!

he’s so over the top, but he means well. his heart is as big as his gestures, which both grow larger for you

he brings you around his family, flaunting you like you’re the most priceless treasure in the world (to him you are)

all 30 or so of his siblings adore you—even if you’re overwhelmed by how many there are, you get along with them all easily. seeing you interact so positively with his family makes kalims heart swell

refers to you as his wife/husband

he looooves taking you on the magic carpet, flying over the cold Scarabian area while you cling to him for warmth and safety

there’s not nearly as much quiet with kalim as the rest of the wardens—but his festive presence is how he shows his love, and it makes you feel special

you feeling loved is what kalim strives for—he didn’t need a cave of treasures to find you, but he’d be damned if he ever lost you

Vil Schoenheit 🪞

vil is an organized mess in a relationship. he’s used to being the villain, yet when you look at him like he hung the stars, he nearly short circuits

his Magicam posts stop revolving around him as much—you slowly take over his new posts. after all, he wants to show the world who the fairest of them all is

becomes protective whenever you go to a shoot with him and Neige is there. he’s deathly afraid of losing you to him of all people

vil loves doing skincare with you. he makes products and gives them to you, and always offers to do his routine with you. to him, it’s the perfect way to achieve domesticity while keeping up appearances (not that you need to, he thinks you’re perfect anyway)

Vil starts getting on to Rook whenever he catches Rook photographing you or him. especially you. claims that there’s no one who is deserving of your beauty, even Vil himself

makes you healthy meals that he knows appeals to your palate

vil used to strive to be called the fairest of them all. but now that you’ve came along, he makes it very clear who should be in the spotlight—and it’s not himself

Idia Shroud 🎮

half the time it feels like you two are long distance, dating over the internet. he means well, but during the beginning of the relationship, he’s too nervous to do anything in person

he loves playing games with you. you quickly replace Muscle Red as his gaming buddy (poor Lilia..)

he gives you the good loot all the time. he purposely will grind after you’ve gone to bed just so that he can give you the goods he got

the first time you guys actually hang out in person is when Ortho says there’s an emergency—there’s no emergency—and takes you to Idias room

idia nearly passes out when he sees you standing in his doorway. his hair turns bright pink as he looks at every empty energy drink can, empty bags of candy, and random papers and items strewn around his room

it doesn’t bother you—you actually offer to help him clean if he’d like. he says no, but you do it anyways.

he starts having you over all the time. he actually puts down his games and will cuddle up to you, watching whatever new anime has came out

he acts like a cat—sleeps and cuddles

you get along great with ortho, he practically is your little brother too

although idia will always be the awkward recluse of NRC, he is forever your awkward recluse, and neither of you would have it any other way

Malleus Draconia 🐉

malleus is the biggest gentleman on this list

he’s a bit awkward, but he means well

he’s been around for hundreds of years, but has never met anyone that’s made it worthwhile—until you came along

he definitely asks Lilia for advice

he has to get onto sebek for freaking out whenever you get too close to Malleus—he claims it’s because “if i’m the king, she’s my queen.” he states it like it’s the most obvious thing in the world

he’s not overly protective because he knows everyone is scared of him, so they wouldn’t mess with you

he always lets his guard down with you. he knows you don’t feel scared of anything of the sort around him, but the fact he’s comfortable enough around you speaks volumes

his actions speak louder than his words, which says a lot because the most basic thing he calls you is perfect

secretly wishes that he could give you something so you’d live as long as him—if that means turning you into a fae, then so be it

he never thought he’d find a mate—but once he found you, he knew he couldn’t live without you. the most powerful mage in NRC, and the future ruler of the Briar Valley, brought to his knees in the presence of a simple human.
